Such great boards. You skipped my two favorites though: the SB Resort Twin and the Mega Merc. I just need one of each of those to fall off the back of a truck for me in like 155 and 157 maybe 😂
LOL, both dope boards but I've done stuff with those in the past. Wanted to spread the shine to the other amazing whips in the lineup.
Anything different with the 2025 ultrafear?
Just a graphic change for 23/24 to 24/25.👍
Didn’t the kazu also change?
Not really, they switched to the Hyperdirve ADV XT base but thats just a slightly thicker version of the base from 23/24. Other than that just a graphic change.
also just have to say the top sheet on that DOA looks AMAZING in the sun!
💯
Us Yeti’s need Capita to press that Mega Death in the 169W BSOD size. We Yeti’s would benefit the most from the lighter weight and snappier pop. C’mon Capita make it happen.
PS. Let’s be honest, us former rad dads (now distinguished gentlemen) who’s kids have left the nest are the one’s that have the means and desire to spoil ourselves with high end gear.
@@jpwookie22 they did add a 165w for 24/25 so who knows what the future holds! Honestly that thing has so much energy and return with the full carbon lay up you might be surprised how a 165w rides in the Mega vs the BSOD 169w 🤷♂️
I have last years's MegaDeath. I'm such a tool I'm thinking of now going for this years one. What changes have been made to this years model? The base on the MegaDeath is ridiculous in terms od speed. I absolutely love this board. Carves like a dream. Handles everything. The hype is real for this thing.
@@xollob It’s for sure one of my favorite boards! Only difference this year is the base is a little thicker for added durability but honestly you’re not going to feel any difference in the ride.
@@PeterGlennSports Thank you for getting back to me. You have saved me 1000Euros:)
I've got the Mega Death 161W, such a sick board to ride. Quick but with enough flex that it feels good.
100%
What binding did you have on it? I've got the exact same one, haven't ridden it yet.
@@User_R4nD0MnUmb3R5 I have the Nidecker Supermatics in white on it. Matches the colors of the board and boots (black/white).
@@User_R4nD0MnUmb3R5 If you are referring to the bindings I'm riding in the video they are the New Union Falcors for 24/25. AMAZING bindings!
@@PeterGlennSportsmight have a look of those, thanks.
That top gloss finish is killer 🔥
Looks so much better in person too!
@@PeterGlennSports I bet!
Hi, what about Torstein board?
Nothing yet, Torstein is in “prototype mode” right now so probably will be a bit before we see any releases.
I’ve been riding a capitán pathfinder for the past 3 seasons. Looking to upgrade to an all mountain board that does well in powder and has better speed. Is the doa the one for me?
Check out the Mercury instead!
The D.O.A. is a great next step from the Pathfinder for sure. It will ride everywhere from the park to the pow! Another board to consider is the Mercury if you don't ride park that often. The Mercury is still an all mountain board but more on the "freeride" side of things.
@@sawtorn6861 Mega Merc lol
@@sawtorn6861thanks!
