*Withdrawn* | Dublin Bus ALX400 Volvo B7TL AX509 (06-D-30509) | Service 40E

AX509 was always a Harristown bus and was part of the AX496-516 batch. It's been on and off “withdrawn” for a few years but this might be the final time. It also held the title for the oldest bus in the fleet a couple of times inbetween movements of the fleet. Another thing about 509 was it was quite a stand alone member in it's last couple of years with AX496, 510-515 transfering to DoDublin Tours, AX497-505 transfering to Go-Ahead and AX507 & 508 just withdrawn and sold on in general. It's seen here with a good driver who seems to like making an AX downshift which is what we always like to see! This bus was serving Route 40E to Broombridge LUAS.
