Archives: Journey Onboard Reliance Coaches Volvo Olympian (99-D-473) | (Former Dublin Bus RV473)

A video from the archives, filmed about 6 years ago of RV473 with Reliance Coaches. RV473 was new in 1999 and worked from Phibsboro and Ringsend during its Dublin Bus career. It was withdrawn in 2011 and was passed onto Jerry Nolan Coaches who also acquired RV472. It passed on again to Reliance Coaches who kept her running well. Unfortunately during the covid pandemic the time had come to pass RV473 on with AV193 coming in from Beechfield Coaches to replace it. RV473 now rests aside in Mountbellew, Co. Galway as a static coffee hut sitting right beside RV460 which is also used for the same purpose. I've got an older video of RV473 which I'll link below, alongside a link to how it looks now in its current state!
