Translink Ulsterbus | ALX400 Volvo B7TL 2980 (EEZ 2980) | Service 6

I was waiting until these were withdrawn to start publishing my videos of them but they seem to be staying well over a year since they were announced to be taken off so I've decided to start publishing my videos of the
Ulsterbus B7's. Starting off with this beast, 2980 was new in 2005 to Metro in Belfast before being cascaded to Ulsterbus years later. Being based at Coleraine and currently Newtownards where she'll more than likely finish out her days. Like most of my Ards B7 videos, this was filmed on route 6 to Bangor which is a short route but is good for getting these B7's on although the likes of the 9 or 10 would be better for proper thrash!. This thing has good power and sounds absolutely phenomenal, giving those AV type revs but with the AX gear ratio. Overall, I've a very big like for these with more videos of these from myself on the way! This bus was serving Route 6 to Bangor.

@@SeanTheBusEnthusiast Would be the same for me. 2880 revs the same as this but it's not in a good way last I heard. 2875 sounds different now after it got its engine replaced. I've a video of it before they replaced it

Definitely one of the better ones out of ‘Ards. My personal favourites still go to 2328 and 2875 though.
