This guy is great! Been following his build for years now and can say he’s one of my favorites. Also tsr is who made my 510 so I feel very close to this build unlike others. Very inspirational and just all round nice guy who love his 510! Great video, hope Jose keeps doing it in a datsun! :)
4 doors rule, they're stronger they can be more rigid when you do him right Come up and if you clean them out and make the rear seat delete they give the driver a lot more room if you're a lot more room if you're a lot more room if you're a lot more room if you're a little taller. Plus as I said before 4 doors rule

For some one like him, starting with a rusty shell is like having a blank canvas. 12 years ago, my brother and I bought a stripped down rolling chassis to build our own SR20 510 beast. It's a Street Modified SCCA open class Auto-X car with a license plate. Although I'm in NorCal, our car shared a similar path as Jose's and with part's and mods from Troy & Ahley Ermish, Dave & his son Bryan Rebello, Super Mario, and connected with Keven a few times along the way. ;o)
I love the 4 doors best anything related to the E28 BMW. A little history, BMW released the best car in the world the BMW 1600 but Mr K destroyed it with the 510.

That’s a good question! He’s had it for so long, I think there’s a lot of sentimental value in it. I definitely don’t think he’d be able to rebuild another one the way this is. But money talks, so you never know until you ask!
@@JaysonSantoyo prices have been going up lately from stockish condition to modified, because they are getting hard to find in good condition. I'd say at least 40k and that's low ball guesstemiate. He's had it so long and put so much time and money into it I couldn't see him getting a real offer he'd take.

I used to have a Datsun 260z that I restored. This is great work and hope in 50 years people will restore FRZ.

Thx, My 1st 510 was a '69 4 door So Fun had 4. Way back when, circa late '70's early '80's :) From G;lendale Ca.
this Datto is sick .. nothing wrong with the 4 doors .. down here in Australia we love modifying them 👍👍
