You need to get big boss to show us his disassembly technique. A lot of people trip up there. Ungluing screens how he keeps his screws so he knows where they go back etc.
It is so great to see you work together with your father! It reminds me of my uncle and his son, my cousin. They too worked together on projects. The latest project was making midwife stetoscopes in wood. They both made those in a lathe. My cousin made labels on a mac computer. Some years later both had died. My uncle of old age(94), but his son died premature(62) of an infection. A couple of years later I had a dream were I saw both in lathe shop working on wood. They seemed very happy and buisy working together. I was in good mood when I woke up, but a little sad when I realized that they both were deceased.
during the holidays you could post a bunch of fast speed repairs with music in one hour long video.. and take a few days off.. it is rewarding to watch
Love your Channel. I'm a Secondary school teacher in New Zealand, specializing in Electronics embedded systems. I use your channel to inspire my students... Great work. I will be checking your store soon Hope you ship internationally... Amazing work you do.
Nice video, looks so easy but its quite hard because its a microscopic work. Good work, doesn‘t matter if the microphone fails. Thank you for the video
would love to see more micro soldering monologues to the music in future videos. or a compilation of past micro soldering in a compilation video as it strangely soothing . Awesome video.
A couple of months ago I had to replace the same port on e585 after customer (nice lady) tripped on the chord and pulled the c port up. Believe me it was not so easy for me to source the correct port in my location. Anyway. Literally 2 weeks later. Back again. Tripped on the chord. Pulled the other side of the pads off. Repaired traces. Replaced port....again. few weeks later....... Wrote it off after she tripped on the chord again. Destroyed all hope of repairing the port. Killed the display and housing. Bought the same damn laptop to replace it........not seen her since. Maybe she learned her lesson..... Remains to be seen. But it certainly gave me some E585 USBC port finding experience.
Nice job as always, I prefer Alex walking down explaining to us rather than music tho 😁 but things happen. I love listening to those fume extractor and Alex working around, makes me more focused to what's Alex doing.
Hey Alex, I watch your videos everyday and I love your channel. I did a repair on a powerbank today. It's a far cry from motherboards etc etc. but I just wanted to thank you for teaching me everyday. I put a video on my channel if you want to see how I did. Thank you. (don't judge me too hardly i'm still learning)
Excellent video Alex, very good music, as always fast and accurate in your repairs greetings and blessings for you and your family, and congratulations to the great boss for disassembling and assembling so many devices of different models and brands, he is a master
I think am a pro on my own now thanks man. I have two tool on your table Icharger by mechanic and heavy duty voltage injection I love them only thermal camera is need then later I can speak day way BETTER THAN FACTORY
Thank you for your amazing videos, they helped me a lot. Question: I don't have a hot air soldering unit, just a soldering iron. Will I be able to remove the USB-C port with just the iron, some lead and the wick or is the hot air station a necessity?

True. There are valuable lessons to learn in dissasembly too.
Although I understand if he didn't because editing extra videos take up a lot of his very limited time.
Oh yes thats true. Maybe alex should do videos from disassembly too from time to time. That would be interesting
Pity I cant link to comments but Alex yesterday (previous vid) commented that he is adding cam to bigboss bench soon.
