Ive been watching OG for years and im an adult so I get the hair splitting in the moment about specifics wasnt needed. He isnt the seriously hyperbolic type. He calls out that bull bull. Honestly whenever I have a support that plays something like Brig or Zen, my thought is to play around them or figure out the best duo. They'll either switch or stay on that character but for me as long as I'm doing my job and keeping the team alive they can have fun playing respawn simulator tbh. The only other role that stresses me out from their choice of characters is tank.
No seriously, I never understood the toxicity on comp even though it's funny because people act like we can't have bad days/games. I had a support writing GG and my team is ass after just one round. Everything is all good when we are up, but when we are down, that's where you see real comp... I swear some people never played a sport before.
I have the same problem, but with tanks, I ask politely “do u play dva or Winston since we needed dive, and my tank responds with “do u play well?” And just feeds the entire game. Like come on bro it wasn’t insult, literally can’t strategize with these wafer-thin egos on this game. They act like u insulted their entire ancestry.

100% agree! Especially when they are new players and/or come from other fps games. They tend to have ego even tho most of the support characters atm are free sr.
Damn that hit me . Not the throwing healer/ thinner mental than a wet paper towel but the Quick play warrior. Back in overwatch one i had not really played that much competitive. And i got the game since late 2018. Healer main too. Only got three healer golden guns for Zen, Ana, and Lucio througout the whole time. made it to high plat then just went on extreme hiatus. Other than the golden guns i never had the will to rise to higher ranks as fear of straying away from my causal play mantallity to become what we all seen in this video. Normally a chill guy just beacause i kept my anger to myself to the point that i would walk in my living back and forth arguing to myself about a bad match/ teamates. Now that Overwatch two is out i havent even touched competitve. Other than that i never had this type of toxic outburst in game as ana had. This vid really made me see this you know what ima go back in and try to get all the golden guns . Have a happy new years
I agree but it’s mainly the support one tricks who don’t play other roles is what I noticed, I play support and dps and I don’t think I’ve ever initiated an argument in vc, only finished them
As a support main, I would be DISGUSTED having any of these children as my teammate and do my absolute best to solo carry healing for the tank and dps' sake. I never give up and always strive my best to support and improve every game. These guys are just fragile kids and make supports look bad! I do agree completely that we're fragile overall. I only get defensive when the jerk complaining is feeding and complaining that i'm not keeping them alive. I can't save stupid!
this take is completely based. it's been like that since ow1. supports have always been the ones with the most fragile egos. i know, i used to be a support main.
I've got almost 2000 hours in paladins and started playing overwatch when it was free to play and in the time that I had in both games I completely agree with OG. Most of my time that I ever have in both games is struggling to play tank or dps with good supports. I have to wait for years just to get healed and when you tell them to heal you they just say tank diff or dps diff
I imagine supports have all probably dealt with That One Tank and The Whiny DPS, and at that point they had to decide whether to become bitchmade or hard as rock. Most chose wrong apparently.
It's really bad in low ranks. If you get rolled in the first CP of 3 of payload, there is a 50% chance someone will leave. Just because you guys had a bad fight or 2 and they immediately got the checkpoint. Someone tell me I'm lying. Like bro we still have 99% of distance to defend till they get to the end goal why give up so easily.
You basically said it but it's easy to get tilted as support because there are a lot of smoothbrains that automatically blame them when they die (because they're out of position, 1v5, one-shotted, etc). I've learned to take a break from support when it's getting to me though lol they should try it
Ive said it once before and ill say it again, supports have either way too much of an ego or are way too soft to cry this much whilst playing the easiest role in ow in my opinion. I went from a tank main to a support main, and this season i have 72, 61, 58 and 55% winrate in my top 4 most played which are bap, ana, zen and kiriko. Support is the most influential role on this game and at the same time i have found it the easier to play then going tank or dps even tho i played tank the most in ow1 (most of my winrates on tank where about the same as my support rates rn). So when i hear someone on Moira cry this much whilst probably having more dmg then healing done just boggles me.
and plus you gotta rely on ur teamates being good which is super rare specially in silver-diamond, it feels like i loose every game on support and its just unplayable.
"supports have the weakest mental" SO TRUE, and im a support main that doesnt act like this, ive experienced it tho whether i play another role or even if im the other support, like their mentality is so shit and bad, like get off the game if u act like that over in game criticism LOL
I'm a support main as I notice this to I understand it's hard to play support bec we get blame most the time as I know I'm not the best as I never throw or blame others I look at myself to do better as I try to ask other to change heros to fight against the other teams comp
As someone who Mains lucio currently I felt this I always have randoms like that. Wish I could be a tank main again tho but I feel it’s too much pressure now
If you're not going to do your part in the team because you wanna throw a tantrum over what someone else picked, then uninstall the game. It's not that hard, it doesn't take rocket science, just do your team a favor and never play the game again. The choice to pick whatever character you want to play is yours, you do not have a say in what other people play. Don't like their pick? Consider asking nicely, maybe try compromising to get them to play something else. If they stick with it, avoid them and move on. This guy just does not fucking know how to put 2 and 2 together, man's staring at the 4 and saying the answer is fish tacos. As a Support Main, I want to delete this man from the game altogether.
i feel like saying most of us support players have the mental of a tissue paper is being a little too generous, i would say the mental wasn't there in the first place
Im a support main and nothing pisses me off more than a soft support. I asked a teammate to switch because they weren’t doing much on zen and they said “bet” and started throwing. Like atp do us all a favor and leave?? But great video per usual pure
This what I don't get about Overwatch players. Toxic teammate: "HAY EVERYONE, THIS HEALER/TANK/DPS IS USELESS" so guess what I'm going to do? I'm gonna be more or just as useless than the user I'm accusing.
Tbh I have 84 hours on ana and your totally right on the mental thing but to be honest I also don't want to wait for the q for the other 2 roles right now and um it's hella annoying to get shit teams after shit teams between a rien flanking like there a road and a road just walking down main with turrets everywhere and taking hella damage and then blaming me for it and it's just him feeding its kind of just breaking the camels back tbh but the mental thing you right 100%
The same thing happened too me today. I was playing a comp game we were on Eichenwalde and we pushed the cart too 3rd point with 30 seconds left on the clock. And we lost one dps and our support said it's unwinnable and started too through. Then when we were defending our zen didn't pop trans and our other support decided too have a temper tantrum. We still managed too win though. I don't but as a tank player I do think supports have the weakest mental.
As a support player people be like it’s hard! Bro we can heal ourselves now and if played right we can get more kills then tank and dps! Folks just don’t like to use their brain and Communicate with team that why supports cry so much!
agreed. as a support main i play dps and tank occasionally and i feel like i die for nooo reason. or when i ask for a switch when they run lucio mercy, im the one that’s throwing?? also, too many moira/mercy/lucio players
I didn’t even know a ton of my other fellow supports were this soft until now. I would like to apologize for the behavior these weak-minded individuals show.
His right either support players have the biggest ego and shit talk mostly or they have the most fragile mentality and grief and throw tantrum like a child
I play all roles but the biggest complainers and holders of weak mental are usually supports especially the ones who stay quiet the whole game then start flaming you when you lose
I don't play support alot more of a tank main but dude if I was in your game I'd try my best but your a higher rank, Lol man I wish you did 1 v 1's that'd be the best thing ever. overall I understand the rage I feel it too, but man if you ever did start a 1 v 1 series I feel that could get alot of hype, like battling your fans like once every month or week, maybe an idea? overall love your content, hope you grow on twitch and youtube ya deserve it.
When i play tank or dps its one healer doing gods work and the other guy is dps'ing and the first one to call a diff even tho they dont understand anything about the game
you're 100% right about support mains having a weak ass mental. im a support main and i cant tell you how many times my other support would throw just because one thing went fucking wrong, it's the most annoying shit to have to deal with, especially when they're an annoying ass keyboard warrior to add icing onto that cake.
Since Ana is my back main, if you want Nano blade, just ping your ultimate status, if the Ana on your team knows what they are doing, they usually respond with their ultimate status as well confirmation that they want to nano blade. Just keep in sight try not to be around other teammate so that they don't accidentally Nano tho wrong one.
As a support main I always run into toxic moria mains. I tell them to focus more on healing and then moria tells me I should heal more even tho I have 11k healing and moria has 7k healing. You might as well ask me to carry you harder🙄I really fucking hate moria mains lol
i feel like i’m one of the only support players that doesn’t have a glass mental. anytime we’re down i always try and keep positive so we can win. i usually have 15k+ heals per game so even if someone is bitching it’s not at me cause i go hard but i do agree that most supports have the mental of a used tissue paper
As a support main, the only time I start getting pissed is when my team blatantly feeds then spams “I need heals” as if they aren’t the reason why they died. Shit fucking pisses me off so much when people do that

Support main here. I'm never in voice chat because I'm toxic af. You don't want to hear what I have to tell you, trust me. The stereotype is true!
Yo same
No seriously, I never understood the toxicity on comp even though it's funny because people act like we can't have bad days/games. I had a support writing GG and my team is ass after just one round. Everything is all good when we are up, but when we are down, that's where you see real comp... I swear some people never played a sport before.
I have the same problem, but with tanks, I ask politely
“do u play dva or Winston since we needed dive, and my tank responds with
“do u play well?”
And just feeds the entire game.
Like come on bro it wasn’t insult, literally can’t strategize with these wafer-thin egos on this game.
They act like u insulted their entire ancestry.
As a support main, let me just say... It's not a role thing. It's an ow2 player thing. Wildest, weirdest, and dumbest Fandom next to FF and LoL fan base.
I’m a lucio player and have been flamed so many times over the years that my mental is impeccable at this point
100% agree! Especially when they are new players and/or come from other fps games. They tend to have ego even tho most of the support characters atm are free sr.
I once complained that they should switch off lucio-mercy because the other team had kiriko ana and they decided to not heal
Have a happy new years
As a person who played QP and now getting into lower rank comp as support I can safely say, that support is a bitch ngl
You know it's a good day when pure posts a vid
You know it’s even better when the video’s over 10 minutes
@@sleepbound1129 True
@@sleepbound1129 Literally true
Pure, you have a lot a lot more patience for that Brig than I would have.
I agree but it’s mainly the support one tricks who don’t play other roles is what I noticed, I play support and dps and I don’t think I’ve ever initiated an argument in vc, only finished them
i think cus supports always get so much shit when things so south that theyre just on the defensive hardcore , same with tank
I can't save stupid!
this take is completely based. it's been like that since ow1. supports have always been the ones with the most fragile egos.
i know, i used to be a support main.
the thing i hate the most is when we need more healing and they switch to someone whos healing is very low it annoys me sm
I'm sorry you've had to run across people like that. It's sad honestly but I hope you start getting some good games!
As a support main in both games, I apologize on behalf of my brethren for the toxicity you have had to deal with
@@jinxed3984 thx friend I'm glad you get it
1:30 it’s the new brig nerf, her packs now have a cooldown of 1 minute 🔥
As someone who like to play support, this shit is embarrassing.
3:31 I see you with the Lenarr intro🔥🔥🔥
Watching these videos make me want to become a better person and teammate.
Its true. literally why i was stuck for too long. ether healers or other people. im terrible but even i know what works and what doesn't. Mostly kids
BRO HOW YOU HAVE ME DYING 0.5 seconds into the video?
Lmao as a support I’d be chilling because at least if I get rolled I don’t have to wait 10 minutes 😂😂
I've learned to take a break from support when it's getting to me though lol they should try it
The toxicity was funny at first but now it's just sad. I swear dude overwatch players would rather kill themselves than be happy first tbh
that intro really caught me off guard lol
hate people who act like this in general. when things don't go their way they cry about it
Ive said it once before and ill say it again, supports have either way too much of an ego or are way too soft to cry this much whilst playing the easiest role in ow in my opinion. So when i hear someone on Moira cry this much whilst probably having more dmg then healing done just boggles me.
support is the easiest role in some expects, but theres more to it then just "heal"
and plus you gotta rely on ur teamates being good which is super rare specially in silver-diamond, it feels like i loose every game on support and its just unplayable.
My life becomes pure when ogpure uploads time to role these cuks in a blunt
"supports have the weakest mental" SO TRUE, and im a support main that doesnt act like this, ive experienced it tho whether i play another role or even if im the other support, like their mentality is so shit and bad, like get off the game if u act like that over in game criticism LOL
all the "as a support main" lmaoo 😭
I'm a support main as I notice this to I understand it's hard to play support bec we get blame most the time as I know I'm not the best as I never throw or blame others I look at myself to do better as I try to ask other to change heros to fight against the other teams comp
I’ve changed to a Tank main because of my experiences as a Lucio/Bap main because I’d usually be the only one healing while we had a DPS Moira or Zen.
I play support quite alot, and i 100% agree.
12 Minute video THANK THE LORD
from the first minute in already i can tell
That Shet Is About To get Real
We in the support community do not claim this Brig or Moira and would like to pass then off to the DPS category
agreed. as a support main i play dps and tank occasionally and i feel like i die for nooo reason. or when i ask for a switch when they run lucio mercy, im the one that’s throwing?? also, too many moira/mercy/lucio players
bffr moira is the worst support in OW2 but because she has a braindead kit people love playing her
as a support main I can confirm we are the softest LMAO. quickest to throw, least likely to swap, fastest to blame
and don't u dare pick doom or ball, 5/10 times the supports will complain and say they need a shield before the first team fight starts
I didn’t even know a ton of my other fellow supports were this soft until now. I would like to apologize for the behavior these weak-minded individuals show.
Love the content man doing gods work
Pure, you really shouldn't generalize like this, you know not every support is like that
His right either support players have the biggest ego and shit talk mostly or they have the most fragile mentality and grief and throw tantrum like a child
Those healers IQ were below room temp lol
I play all roles but the biggest complainers and holders of weak mental are usually supports especially the ones who stay quiet the whole game then start flaming you when you lose
I don't play support alot more of a tank main but
dude if I was in your game I'd try my best but your a higher rank, Lol man I wish you did 1 v 1's that'd be the best thing ever. overall I understand the rage I feel it too,
but man if you ever did start a 1 v 1 series I feel that could get alot of hype, like battling your fans like once every month or week, maybe an idea?
overall love your content, hope you grow on twitch and youtube ya deserve it.
I wish I saw this specific thing live lol… also Pure 🥴 u never showed us that meme after
I did lol, you must’ve missed it
When i play tank or dps its one healer doing gods work and the other guy is dps'ing and the first one to call a diff even tho they dont understand anything about the game
Support mains are are brats with massive praise kinks. You just gotta keep reminding us of that and we're good lmaao
Its allways the moira bum too 🤣
you're 100% right about support mains having a weak ass mental. im a support main and i cant tell you how many times my other support would throw just because one thing went fucking wrong, it's the most annoying shit to have to deal with, especially when they're an annoying ass keyboard warrior to add icing onto that cake.
Random question, why is it always the Ana not in vc? We need to call out for Nano but they can never hear us 😭
Since Ana is my back main, if you want Nano blade, just ping your ultimate status, if the Ana on your team knows what they are doing, they usually respond with their ultimate status as well confirmation that they want to nano blade.
As a brvig main pls stop switching to her when your mad, she's actually good but my team has ptsd when I pick her
You’re not wrong, I’ve noticed it is always USUALLY supports being whack and throwing/complaining.
