@@Datshitook after having a haircut its important to take a shower so u won't get any infections or bumps on your skin. hair nicks are the tiny hairs from the haircut
Practice makes perfect , use a come to define your parts and palm roll . And make sure you sit (yourself or your client) under the dryer until the hair is dry .

Condition your hair Ofcourse (dilute it if need be) oil your hair 2-3xs a week and wrap your hair up every night with a satin cap . This is what I would recommend someone with free form Locs or with conventional locs (like this client ) . Just make sure you take care of your hair ! And drink water too !
