Geno, Sam and Baker all came from very dysfunctional franchises and have grown as people and players since then. All are very coachable, willing to executed scripted plays, improvise when needed to move and score the ball. Every QB has their weaknesses, but when you hand 230 million to a QB that everyone said is a "top 5 QB"... it shouldn't be surprising that that QB doesn't feel they need to run scripted plays, doesn't feel they need to take coaching, doesn't feel they need to IMPROVE. I guess bring back Tyrod Taylor? Ha

25:40 Butt Hurt Baker caused the Browns to panic for Watson, few seem to remember that. Thanks Fred. BTW Ward has a playing style much like a DSW . No thanks. Rather have Jameis then a day two draft pick and a Zappe type on the PS. JMO
Most QBs get extended after a season that Mayfield had in 2020. JOK got extended based on one good season out of 3. Njoku got extended on potential. Jeudy got extended on potential. When AB wants to keep a player, he does it by year 3. After year 3, like Jedrick Wills, he won't extend. Players can be sour all they want if the franchise doesn't have future plans. Look at Amari Cooper. AB didn't want to extend him.
Matt Ryan wanted out of Atlanta when they wanted to trade for Deshaun Watson. Want to call him butt hurt too? Anyone who saw DW play and understands football offense knew that he was a product of a system and it wasn't sustainable...as the Browns found out.
There's this narrative about the 'Mayfield situation' that essentially boils down to finger pointing at the player and not the dysfunctional franchise the player plays for. It's time to start holding the Haslams, Andrew Berry and Stefanski accountable for their actions. The reason for Mayfield's success in Tampa over the past two seasons can't just be explained away as "he's grown up" "he wouldn't be the same player in Cleveland" rhetoric. Some accountability needs to come from this organization.

DTR is gone. They may replace him with Bailey Zappe for next year
