Hey Randy, started watching your videos back in March because I wanted to get into detailing. Started up in May working out of my mom's car using the customer's water and electricity. Fast forward 7 months and I now have my own fully mobile setup and started taking on my first few paint corrections and paint enhancements. I still watch your videos to this day because you are overall a great teacher and I am still learning from every video I watch. Keep it up man its crazy to see how much your channel has grown this year!
OMG! A DYI’r everything I wish I’d known 2 years ago. Love the color coded pads, speed settings. Thus far been a one step. You’ve given me confidence trying 2 step process on my red “PINK” 2009 F-150.
GREAT VIDEO! I’ve literally spent hours and hours of my own research in the past trying to get a real understanding of it and I’d always get mixed up BUT this video literally did all of that in one single video. Wow just wow! Awesome channel dude
I have never seen such a great and simplified video of how to polish and paint correct. Man, you just gained a sub. Ive been so scared of paint correcting my brand new 23 gr86 bc it has tons of swirls on it already. Great job i mean it.
Randy, thank you very much for all the information you have provided on your RUclips Channel. I am happy to say today I have had my first client reach out to me! Again thank you Randy and I am hoping for the best for your Business!
Great video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! If you want to apply a ceramic coating to a brand new car would you do a paint enhancement only or would you go with at least the one step polish? How would you check if a more aggressive paint correction would be necessary?
You can most definitely use Sonax Perfect Finish for paint enhancements, as for one steps i’d go with something that offers a bit more cut, such as 3D One.
Hi Randy, thank you for an amazing video. Your content is the most straightforward. Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but let's say I have a client who wants a 2-step process for their vehicle, would that mean that after I perform a paint correction, I would afterward jump into the 2-step process immediately? Or do I have to go to the 1-step process and then move on to the 2-step process paint enhancement? I'm assuming I can go straight to the 2-step process after the initial pain polish but I would like to please confirm. thank you Sir.
Your question is a bit confusing I must admit so let me try to break it down for you as best as possible Paint correction = any sort of polishing on a vehicle There’s 1 steps, 2 steps, and even 3 steps. If you’re going to do a one step that’s all you do. If you’re going to do a two step that is all you do. You’re not going to do a one step paint correction and then do a two step paint correction afterwards, it’s one or the other. Now if you mean “the first step” in the 2-step paint correction, of course you have to do the first step and once you’re done follow with the second and final step. Hope that makes sense.
you answered my question bro. I was wondering if I am doing a two-step that's all I do. I really appreciate it, man.thank you!!!@@detailingbeyondlimits
Been waiting for you to drop some like this cuz you be explaining I never see the corrections, and I’m really messing with this as a thing now out here lol ask all the time
Is it common? not really.. is it possible? very much so.. usually you want to polish glass when you are looking to get rid of water spots on the glass, all of course being an additional service that comes along with an additional charge.
Great, randy just some questions though. You don’t recommend a specific DA for beginners in this video and you also don’t recommend a budget friendly alternative pad and polish combo of everything listed because Koch chemie is expensive…
I had a question man, for the 1 step paint correction you talked about, would you recommend a ceramic coating to offer to the client along with the 1 step paint correction?
I have a question? What if you’re getting $500 for paint correction for a dealership? They want to sell fast as possible. So would you go case by case ? Or perfection ?
So for the Koch chemie red bottle does that get rid of scratches and swirls or do I have to do that separately? I’m getting Farley new to the detailing stuff so some tips or tricks if anyone knows
I heard Randy isn't actually a detailer, he owns that huge building in background. He is actually multi billionaire and he films this videos to market/ promote that building to detailers and other businesses Can someone confirm?

I just started using a polisher to add more Services. Thanks for all the great insight. 👍

I like how you talk fast because some people talk so slow like we’re stupid or some but you just get to the point and lay everything out
Brilliant, thanks heaps 😊😊😊
@@claudiadavies5110 you’re welcome!
Good demo, thanks for posting!
@@garden_hooligan you got it!!
What's the difference between all in one polish vs 3 in 1 polish vs 2 in 1 polish?
I appreciate this 💯💯🫡
Can I do an enhancement with a polish like Sonax Perfect Finish? But with light passes. And can I do a true 1 step with it but with more passes?
You can most definitely use Sonax Perfect Finish for paint enhancements, as for one steps i’d go with something that offers a bit more cut, such as 3D One.
your intro song just made me remember what good rap used to sound like, took me back a lil lol

Thanks for watching as always! ✊🏻
man, you are the best. I am not scared anymore
Hey Randy, When it comes to 2 step polishing I want to use Meguiars products what do you recommend. Also what speeds do you use on the polisher.
Hey what about a paint reader, what does that do exactly? I’ve seen some detailers use that before a paint corrections
Thanks !
When your paint correcting do you polish the glass as well ?
Is it common? not really.. is it possible? very much so.. usually you want to polish glass when you are looking to get rid of water spots on the glass, all of course being an additional service that comes along with an additional charge.
What type of material is your shirt and where did you get your logo on the shirt
Great, randy just some questions though. You don’t recommend a specific DA for beginners in this video and you also don’t recommend a budget friendly alternative pad and polish combo of everything listed because Koch chemie is expensive…
Do you wash car before applying paint correction?
I had a question man, for the 1 step paint correction you talked about, would you recommend a ceramic coating to offer to the client along with the 1 step paint correction?
I would recommend
Good stuff bro!
Thanks! 👍🏻
Great Video!!
Great detail.
Very knowledgeable keep up good work
So if somebody asked for an exterior detail, and for me to buff out the scratches which one would I do first
The paint correction comes before the detailing
Good video bro
I appreciate the information but it’s difficult grasping what you’re saying because you’re talking so fast.
I have a question? What if you’re getting $500 for paint correction for a dealership? They want to sell fast as possible. So would you go case by case ? Or perfection ?
what is the best way to remove heavy sun damage to the clear coat
You can’t
If some of the clear coat is gone & showed the actual car paint..you need to recoat the paint & clearcoat
So for the Koch chemie red bottle does that get rid of scratches and swirls or do I have to do that separately? I’m getting Farley new to the detailing stuff so some tips or tricks if anyone knows
Are these products okay to use outdoors/sunny day?
I am wondering this too but i see him doing customers cars in the sun so it must be safe if you know what you're doing.
for the two step correction, did you mean finish with micro cut? because you said fine cut but held up and showed micro cut haha
Video 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Its just funny, as a detailer myself. how you cant see any difference on camera, but i know for a fact its there in person
👌🙌
I heard Randy isn't actually a detailer, he owns that huge building in background. He is actually multi billionaire and he films this videos to market/ promote that building to detailers and other businesses Can someone confirm?
😂
Can confirm. I am that building.
Thx for confirming
You can tell quality is not his priority by how fast he speaks. Probably could careless if his customers had a question.
Haha!!
Or he just talks fast like my teacher don't judge ppl cause u wouldn't want anyone judging u
He’s good
He’s to the point and concise
Your smooth brain can’t keep up?
Jesus. I had to slow you down to .5 bro!
I’m really sorry but you talk a little too fast. I appreciate the tips you gave us though.
Slow down man take a breath 😂
Bro if you write essays the same way you speak, I’d give you a pretty bad grade lol my man pause and breathe 😂😂😂😂 ya speak so fast
Dam bro, take a breathe! 🤣
Time is money😊
