Remember when I said "I will not feature this robot until it gets fixed / balanced?" Well - there has been a fix now doubling the cooldown. Does it balance the robot? You tell me... :-)
I guess I will keep content with this robot at a minimum still. Cause clearly it's still not ok.

You gotta try the ochoki with punishers and punishers T to see if the robot is overpowered or the weapons are
Well, by the gameplay and the way you strategically used Ochokochi and completely obliterated the team, it needs a lot more work. Maybe a longer cool down or maybe they make that the front parts breaks.
I noticed the change but it too broken anyway… it like play against hackers…. Actually, I think that the solution from pixonic to reduce hacker, was give then a robot that feels like hacking the game but under pixonic supervision!!!!!!😒😒😒😒😡😡😡

Wouldn't be a bad idea. Although this will hurt me more than others cause i am typically the guy hitting the spawns^^

No we don't. This is only an issue for Domination mode. And the solution should be to make bots less ridiculous and more killable and not require a band-aid like spawn protection

I like it when you take older bots and revive them with new weapons and drones. Speaking of drones it’s so hard to get them leveled up without spending loads of $$$
Yessss i love the fact they took a whole patch to fix this ability "bug" and they fixed the Fafnir speed bug in a day or two.
The robot is still broken, 12 seconds cooldown is way to short. Compare that to an Orochi, Ao Jun and other old robots. Lets not forget it charges the mothership almost instantly with its ability, and can easily spam motherships (thank god the Unstable conduit got changed, now they'll be spamming Advanced Repair Units)
yeah it really still is too short and the fact that it has Clever Survivor as a pilot skill... oh boy..

What does the unstable conduit do now ?
I remember in the test server they made it give u 30% extra hp but also a whopping 10% hp regen for 7 whole seconds making it more effecting than befor
@@abdouaboud7490 Its just an 10% damage boost and repair now. No extra durability. It costs 60 power cells
I think a big part of what makes okie dokie unkillable is the unstable conduit. That thing is just stupid.
I don't use conduit on my ocho, it doesn't change that much, the whole robot is truly broken.
Some use phase shift to wait out their ability
@@lightterror3304 I do use phase shift to get my ability back then I destroy anyone near me.
@@lightterror3304 actually the only correct use of phase shift is to get rid of the DOT effect combine with the glider drone because without healing module you actually die from the dot effect since the ability is just turning damage into dot so if you take for example an thermite shot dealing 500k damage you will instead take 500k damage in the spane of 5 seconds
Thermite obviously being a bad example but i understand what u mean. It also explains how i get dot kills despite not using weapons or drones with dot. I actually thought ocho took no damage from dot

hey Manni some people are running ultimate blaze/igniter mixed with the new shotguns because the shotguns apply slow to the enemy which makes it easier to land the flames of the flamethrowers. It is actually a pretty good idea/build maybe you should try! I would love to see a fenrir with brisant and ultimate igniter!
Hm but does the shotgun (especially only 2 of them) really slow down fast enough?

Yes, Ochokochi turns color when ability is active is a good idea...
Maybe, make it turns color into golden color will ease players to spot its active ability timings...

Hi Manni, could you try the fafnir with ghost or traditionalist? I thought it would be good because it would have resistance and speed on the ground or be tanky. It would be cool to see the fafnir in game again
Traditionalist Fafnir could be interesting. yeah!
I imagine the fafnir with ghost to be a flawless fafnir, one with resistance, speed and firepower

Fafnir doesn't have either ghost or traditionalist pilot skill as an option. It's not available.

Manni brought up the main point I wanted to make with the cooldown fix. That fix definitely made a noticeable difference both from the perspective of me piloting the bot and fighting against the bot. I've definitely been getting more ochokochi kills now because of that longer cooldown. There are still players that play recklessly and I am more easily able to take them down before their ability cooldowns now without using another ocho. Also, when I'm piloting my own ochokochi now, depending on the situation, I start to go back into cover when my ability is about to be over to stall for some time and let my ability cooldown where as before, I didn't really need to worry about that and can just take all the damage head on most of the time.
And, like with every other new meta, the newer stuff is always better so the bot takes less "skill" to use, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the player is not skillful. As a matter of fact, the ones using full ochokochi hangars that I know are the most skillful players I've met. I've been playing WR with them since the early days back in 2015 and they know what they are doing. Because they have the competitive spirit, they want every edge they can get to win because ultimately winning is what's most fun for them.
And no, the "fix" does not balance the bot. 😂
Excellent video Manni! As for what I would like to see is more videos where you are commenting and breaking down your strats and choices while you are fighting. I want to be in your head at the moment you are stalking the arena snacking everyone.

I agree Manni, I also have a tough time seeing when ocho ability is running. Especially with all the shields popping up, and when it’s amongst a bunch of other players

Manni, you are showing in this video exactly one of the same critical problem this game has: The lack of spawning protection. I mean, War Robots lack of many things, but the spawning protection would be essencial in this game to avoid the famous "base r4p3". I think if War Robots had some kind of spawning protection, it would avoid the completion of enemy team overrun your spawning area and kill you before you can fight back.

Been playing the leech lately, now that i think about it i see ocho as leech with immunity to defence mitigation, speed boost in abiilty, 4x more health, with a 4 second shorter cooldown, direct damage instead of damage throwback. basically where the ultimate version of the leech would be.

The newton’s choke should last 3 seconds so you can get out of it with a phase shift.

Hey Manni, i’ve noticed you’ve gone back to mainly uploading War Robots. I obviously love your WR content but it is a shame some of your other content didn’t do so well. I don’t think you should give up though, the more you try the more likely something will stick and work out. Pixonic seems to keep letting this game get worse and worse. I stopped actively playing when they released the Hawk which melted full titans in seconds. Now we have a robot that can melt titans with the new weapons, can survive being shot by multiple titans for a long time and can rush the spawn. I can’t imagine doing only War Robots content is very fun with the state of it right now. I’ll be able to enjoy pretty much anything you upload, and there are definitely others like me, so dont give up.

this is funny because like you've said, most of these ocho players are so unaware that they just get destroyed. One guy even had a full meta hangar and he only got 2 beacons

Shortening the cool down of the Ocho has indeed helped - the problem is, in championship you are dealing with 2-3 at the same time, clans run only Ochos.
In short, still broken af.

Even before this nerf whenever I find a noob playing an Ocho my team can usually take it out very quickly (I'm in master 3) but I agree, if a pro is running it you're in trouble .

We know that Pixo is capable of day 1 hotfixes when they buffed the new shotguns overnight. There is no excuse for them taking this long to fix the Ochokochi's ability cooldown. They left it as 6s deliberately.
2:37 Pixonic intentionally overlooked the cool down glitch to boost revenue. And wallet warriors responded.

It’s a little suss that every new bot has some kind of “mistake” that gives it a huge advantage. Remember the seraph and angler small hit box “mistake” and orokochi gets an accidental cooldown that half what it’s supposed to be. Curie seems to be balanced.
The pilot for the ovakochi looks like tigger from whinnie the Pooh.

You can probably take 3/4 guys firepower on you with a fenrir or a falcon but those are perfectly balanced.

17:10 hey ive been thinking what if pixonic were to make the shock waves that the ohockochi does but they only activate if you shoot at the ohockochi when his ability is active?
Maybe of just do only 2 pulses. One shortly after activation and one at the end
I feel like if they capped the orichochi health at 300k and halved the damage of the shatter weapons other robots might be able to fight it also mabey the orichochi can have 3 blue rings around it showing that its ability is being used and after the rings go away

Manni, i use a hades and nemesis as counter for a lot of op robots due the retribution abilty you should try em. I use radiation weapons for hades plus an ecu for a light.
The nemsis is loaded with all 3 amps pulsars and is my personal favorite in my entire hanger.
They work well for me in many a senerio.
May be problem with this game is mk3/mk2 at lower level game seems balanced but it is not fun battling with mk1 to mk3/mk2. Fix for this will be matching should depends on your level of your robots
There is no way for the exist of ochoko, one can kill whole team enemy at spawn point, this robot totally distroyed people investment in other robot and weapon, even the latest one. Ochoko is living in another world, different level at all, just like u input the cheat code to win.😂

@ManniGaming it's because I actually use this with my scorcher and ophion build and they build it up very quick and my drone is only level 7.
Pretty sure ophion also has deft survivor which as you said is simply wrong
i said once and say it again this robot took the level of not being fair to another level, it just you cant take it out with anything even the titans cant get it
I think its the weapons that are op and the pilots and drones the robot itself is ok next time can there be a live stream maybe with a ravanna and a sonic hanger with the sunglasses and epic music

My opinion is that the regular robot and the weapons are too powerful if a normal robot alone can destroy a full health titan 1 vs 1.

This robot is still well over powered I was in ffa the other days and one player done 20 million damage and another player did 17 million damage this is just game breaking
Love and watch all your videos Manni but I think you have to continue to criticise and get on Pixonic’s backs. Every positive video you make about WR they usually post on their game site which promotes positive experiences to the players and in turn boosts their income even more and justifies (in their minds) that their business model is good. I have never seen a negative Manni video being promoted by them in such a way on the game site. Funny that isn’t it as of course that’s negative for the players. Keep on criticising them…. 👍👍
Yeah I don't think they would feature a video of heavy criticism. Why should they? Would you do it? I understand that and it's ok.
But there will always be the videos where I speak my mind on things, although I would like to have also many videos with just enjoying some gameplay in between. There needs to be a good middle way. I need to find that cause I also want to give you guys watching a good time, too!
Actually manni you can't just save up your ammo to load onto the ochokochi after it's ability ends cuz we are done for. So we are force to use our ability to atleast stand a chance to live rather than deal damage to that beast
The only robot able to wait out the Ocho ability is the ravana but then it dies immediately without aa last stand
