    Go ahead and protest. This will only give international students a bad name. Canadians are gonna think that these people are not citizens yet they have the nerve to manipulate the rules. First off a student visa is a student visa. Not an immigrant visa. You get educated, you graduate, then go home. If you wanna come to canada to live and work permanently, apply for landed immigrant visa. Nonimmigrants have no right to protest and demand to become permanent residents in any country.

    • @AdTravelers
      @AdTravelers 3 месяца назад +4

      Exactly, before they applied, even me myself, I am aware that anytime, policies in immigration will change. And I know there's nothing I or everyone can do about it. these people are no sense of gratitude.

      @@liyan8385 also the other problem, sometimes some agencies, they oftenly mention the word "after studies you can appply pr so on and so forth" to attract clients. even in visit visa, agency always also told the client" you apply for visit visa then you can apply for ajob then if you have work permit, a year later blah blah you can apply for PR" . so clients always have high expectations. 😞😞

      @@AdTravelers that’s one of the problems with people who don’t do due diligence before getting into something. They get duped and give away hard earned money in exchange of uncertain or even empty promises. Information can be found on the website or you can even do the application yourself. The more these students display this kind of behaviour, the more their applications get rejected. There are enough protesters in Canada and probably the government is feeling the pressure. Find other ways other than protesting

  • @Likeeagle63

    Student visa is just a privilege to stay to study not a right to stay permanently. Canadian government has all the rights to change its policies based on canadian interest or priorities.

IRCC is too much lenient on their immigration policies nowadays. Be thankful that everyone of us give a chance to live work visit or study here. To become a PR is a different efforts and research plus awareness that needs to do.

      That's the issue, govt should bring in rules like, residing in the region for minimum of 6years before getting your PR, file for taxes for a minimum of 5 of the 6, salary had to be set for each category. This can be mandated by the province. The Feds can then bring another law which highlights that after granting PR through the Province these PR holders should then stay for an additional 4years as a condition to their nomination and grant of the status. This way the local economy will grow and net migration will increase.

    When one is an international student, they get to reside, study and work. This doesnt guarantee a PR, the immigration website doesnt guarantee it. Immigration laws are evolving every now and then. It is to suit the needs of its citizens and PRs to benefit only them. Students who take random courses and not working in the occupation of their course wouldn't be able to get a longer stay. Changes immigration law comes at times when the local population is struggling with declining wages, productivity, increased cost of living. Govt must and will focus only on their population. Unfortunately the student community has to realize that they are temporary residents and cant get the same benefits as citizens. This is the same across the world. No point in demanding that the govt act in your favor.

    International student - International education are for those with rich/affluent parents who can afford expensive/costly education abroad for their children, or those with scholarships, otherwise this is bound to happen when some unscrupulous immigration agencies are giving these international students false hope/ideas, it's not a shortcut/easy way for permanent residency.

      Absolutely, you're spot on. International education can indeed seem like a privilege reserved for the affluent or scholarship recipients. It's crucial for students to thoroughly research their options and be wary of false promises regarding residency or shortcuts to success abroad. Moreover, it's also a path for big dreamers, but self-evaluation is indeed very important to ensure realistic expectations and successful outcomes.

    That's why students are in bad shape in canada, and that's why it's getting stricter for aspiring students to get through canada. If you can't comply PR requirements after your studies or the post graduates, then you're good to go home, and that's period. It's no guarantee to be a student to get PR, and the main purpose to be in canada is educational purposes unless you got all the requirements for pr. It's not an easy way anyway.

    • @vamoscanada
      @vamoscanada  3 месяца назад

      Absolutely, you're making a valid point. Canada's tightening regulations reflect the necessity for students to understand that educational pursuits should be the primary focus. Meeting post-graduate PR requirements is essential, and it's crucial for aspiring students to recognize that it's not a straightforward pathway to permanent residency.

    Kung wala naman immigrant nagbayad yan madami pera ipalamon sa native people ( aboriginal) na walang mga job at may kinukuha silang government assistance at mga karamihan dyan mag nangbabasag/ naninira ng mga kotse we were one their victim i

      Be grateful. Native people are the true owners of this land. They deserve what they are receiving. Probably deserve more than what they’ve getting because of how much Canada is earning. Just think of it as a rent for staying in their land. They do not deserve this kind of comment and be depicted in an ugly way, no matter how much we have contributed to this government. Please be respectful.

    • @liyan8385
      @liyan8385 3 месяца назад

      @@vamoscanada i agree that immigrants contributed a lot in this country but the natives can fend off for themselves without the immigrants. In fact, they don’t want immigrants exploiting their land. @emmatalde8821’s comment is a cruel depiction of the true owner of the land. The natives don’t deserve that kind of comment. It’s truly disrespectful. Go visit their place to find out for yourself how inferior it is compared to what you’re enjoying in their land. They even lack primary care and transportation. So please, research before commenting.

      @@vamoscanada if they want fair rules then they should follow the policies and rules set to be a PR which of course there rules (IRCC)where commonly set to change everytime. It's so unfair for us who go through all the the processing fair and square. They wanted easy way to get PR but in your dreams it's no easy way out.
