ive had gold AW before but i gave it to my parents. Im happy with the JB for everyday use and using the AWU for backpacking and hiking. Pretty happy with it.
@@MaureenScott I agree for everyday use jet black could work. I’m the same way, I cycle through the different colors bc I get tired of them. My first Apple Watch was the series 1 rose gold, then I had a silver one, a black SE, a gold AW4 and a pink series 9. I will say the jet black looks very close to when they offered the black in stainless steel so if you want something thats more inexpensive that looks like it was more premium i think its the way to go.

I got the jet black 46mm but returned it for the 42mm in titanium gold. I loved the way it looked in the store but it looked awful on my tiny wrist.

youll be fine. if you dont like it getting scratched they might release cheapo cases for it. and can cover it.
