I got the exact same series 10 in the jet black aluminum with the same dark gray band. This is my first Apple Watch, and so far I’m thrilled with all of the things you can do with it. Since I’m 71 years old and use a walker, I of course am glad it has fall detection, and can summon help if needed. I fully charge it before going to bed so I can track my sleep cycles, and monitor for sleep apnea. I’m pleased that everything looks good while I’m asleep. Additionally the ECG, heart rate, respiration, respiratory rate and wrist temperature are interesting things to track as well. It is amazing so much technology is packed into this tiny little thing. I wouldn’t be surprised if it has the blood oxygen sensor, but is just turned off until the related lawsuit is resolved. Thanks for all of your reviews! I try to watch most of your content. Thanks, I searched for a Screen comparison with Series 7/8/9. For me it seems to be a step back with bigger bezels in the Series 10. The Series 9 seems to be the better deal for me.
I think Apple are pulling a fast one. Technically they have increased the screen size, as in the crystal on the front is bigger. They've increased the size of it introducing bigger bezels in the glass and reduced the "metal" bezel that surrounded it. However I'm not sure there's a noticeable increase in the area that actually displays information. Notice how Apple didn't compare to the S7 onwards, only the S6 and previous. Bit like a cheap camera trick really.
“Bigger bezels” is entirely something that makes zero difference between the Series 9 & 10. I upgraded from a Series 6 and the bezels on the 10 are substantially thinner than the 6 and don’t really look all that thicker than the 9 either
The bezels are actually the same size. The glass on the Series 10 just wraps further down, which gives the illusion of making it look bigger. Plus, the Jet black colour doesn't help to make it look thinner compared to a lighter colour option.
I think the game changer for me that made me upgrade from ultra 2 to series 10 is the watch faces no longer shrink a bit in AOD mode they just light up when you raise your wrist!

Aaron, I just bought the aluminum jet black 46 mm. Never had an Apple Watch before. I never liked the colors and always thought the displays were to small. But that black is sick. And the screen being bigger. It should come in a couple days. I got 150 bucks off of it. Carrier promotion. So happy it isn’t full price. Can you do another review after you had used it for a while and the durability and screen and battery life etc. love the videos.
I upgraded to the Series 10 from the Series 9 and I like the slightly larger display, but I have noticed the Digital Crown is much stiffer on the Series 10.
Hey Zollo, I have an iPhone 13 mini and I was thinking of upgrading to 15 Pro or 16/16 Plus. Which do you think is a better choice? Some said the 15 Pro is faster than the normal 16s.
Not that I was in the market, I got an Ultra 2 at the end of last year, up from a Series 6. I probably would've waited until Series 10 (hoping it'd be called Series X) to see what was offered, but I really wanted to keep the functionality of the blood oxygen sensor. Taking a more active stance on my health and, as a former cardiac monitor tech, I know how important such readings can be. I'm glad to have found this year's offerings underwhelming which makes me enjoy my Ultra 2 purchase even more! No regrets
I’ve had the Apple Watch 7 stainless steel for a few years now, and I’m thinking of upgrading to the latest one, but with the aluminium finish, since it’s more reasonably priced. Is there any noticeable difference in the durability of the saphire glass of my current watch vs. the glass of the aluminium version of the new one? I’m usually pretty careful with my watches, but would I have to be more cautious if I decide to get the aluminium version?
Stainless steel had sapphire glass, it's times more durable than S10 aluminum X-ion glass. Expect to have micro-scratches, but if you're not planning to drop the watch face down on a pavement - you'll be fine.
Is your Apple Watch 10 Aluminum Jet Black the Cellular model or the GPS Only model? The reason why I ask is I wanted to know if the Gray Ring on the Digital Crown is the new Cellular indicator vs the Red Ring on the Apple Watch 9.
I'm a newbie to the watch and have basic question for Zollo: Why does the Apple website no longer sell the watch 9 or earlier version? I only have seen the 10, SE or Ultra for sale on their site. Keep up the great work!

On the fence as to whether to upgrade or not. If I was to upgrade, the titanium jet black series 10 is looking pretty awesome! One thing I’d like to know though is if the smaller of the series 10 models has the on-screen keyboard (if not, I will be sticking with my Apple Watch SE), but on screen keyboard on the smallest series 10 model would tempt me to upgrade to the series 10. (So that I don’t have to keep typing on the iPhone, and can just type directly via the watch)
There were many times I would glance at my S5 aluminum and wish I had spent the extra to get the nicer stainless steel/sapphire model. This time I got the polished titanium and sapphire and I’m so glad I did. It might not seem worth it but I’ve come to the conclusion that spending the extra was worth it. It’s so damn sharp with a leather link band.
Not sure if I should get the titanium version or the jet black aluminum! I have a stainless steel s4. I just worried that the jet black will show scratches and also the glass. I love the sapphire glass because it’s a lot harder to scratch. I’ve returned a normal Apple Watch before because I get OCD if it scratches and I hate putting a screen protector on them.
Again a great review. I’ve bought the same 46mm Black Aluminum version as you did, with the same nylon band. Upgrading from the Series 5. Loving this upgrade.

I was very fond of the stainless look, might like that case more than titanium. But there’s no going back now… 😅
Aaron,
I just bought the aluminum jet black 46 mm.
Great video Aaron❤😊
Aaron - do you think it is worth the upgrade from a S7?

That ultra is getting to look big even on your wrist. Wrists getting skinny?
I have the titanium Hermes version 46 and it feels and looks amazing love it glad I changed! I can’t stop looking at my wrist
No regrets
I enjoy your videos, the most! ❤
I like the new model and the Milanese loop. I have the 9 and won’t be upgrading for over a year.
Traded in my ultra 1 for a 46 mm jet black. I have to get used to it, definitely doesn’t feel bigger than the ultra and I notice the weight difference
Just got mine today jet black 46 m aluminum upgraded from series 5.
Nice
Is your Apple Watch 10 Aluminum Jet Black the Cellular model or the GPS Only model? The reason why I ask is I wanted to know if the Gray Ring on the Digital Crown is the new Cellular indicator vs the Red Ring on the Apple Watch 9.
I'm a newbie to the watch and have basic question for Zollo: Why does the Apple website no longer sell the watch 9 or earlier version? I only have seen the 10, SE or Ultra for sale on their site.
Keep up the great work!
They always discontinue the previous model when a new one is released
I’ve never owned a watch before so I don’t know if new Apple Watch will be good for me but I would like to have one ❤😊
I think you would like it. It's so much more than jst telling you the time. I was kinda hesitant at first, but once I got one and seen everything I could do, I've never gone back. Especially the health features ..I love that. :)
i got the apple watch ultra 2 black, happy with it so far, im outside the usa so got that blood oxygen
Same so nice so far, what watch face do u use
@@cavvvyr7021 i have 2 favorites, the nike globe and mogular ultra face, right now i have the mogular ultra face with the showed icons i want to have on it
On the fence as to whether to upgrade or not.
I’m saving my money for my Apple Watch Series 10 GPS, 42mm Jet Black Aluminum Case with Slate
Milanese Loop
I picked up the jet black 46 MM Apple Watch series 10 yesterday at my Apple Store and I love it Aaron
I think this is the best looking version. Also, I'm kinda glad they went against the typical Apple tradition of naming every 10th edition "X".
I’m sticking with my Series 6 Apple Watch for now
Not sure if I should get the titanium version or the jet black aluminum! I have a stainless steel s4. I just worried that the jet black will show scratches and also the glass. I love the sapphire glass because it’s a lot harder to scratch. I’ve returned a normal Apple Watch before because I get OCD if it scratches and I hate putting a screen protector on them.
I appreciate slate matching my iPhone 16 PM better than jet black. The phone is basically slate lol so glad I went with that.
Polished Slate titanium is definitely darker than graphite. It’s pretty much close to the old space black
I hope they will bring the polished titanium to the iphones also, i really miss the shiny cases even if they were fingerprint magnet
Thanks for the video Aaron, always a pleasure to watch your videos.
4:30 of course you can polish titanium, even without coating it 👍
I was quite surprised to learn that the titanium is ONLY available with cellular capability.
Same as Stainless Steel has been cellular since the series 3 AW launched back in the day.
Again a great review. I’ve bought the same 46mm Black Aluminum version as you did, with the same nylon band. Upgrading from the Series 5. Loving this upgrade.
Was hoping you swapped the metal band over to the jet black one . Would this be a good look 👀
I have this combination of 46mm jet black and slate Milanese loop. It looks fantastic !!
You are always clear on your reviews. It’s great. What I really want to know whether the included Apple Watch charger can do the fast charging or not. If you could do a separate review on battery charge on these new Apple Watches.
I've just got my series 10 switching from the ultra. It feels so much thinner and lighter and I'm finding the double tap very useful. Battery life is great. Took it off charge at 8am with 100% and after 13 hours it's on 67% 👍🏻
Ahhhh help, I can‘t decide between the Jet Black Aluminum with cellular or the titanium slate… what the heck… so difficult this year.
Same here titanium looks nicer the only problem is the price.
@@sebabhzI took the Titanium. It arrives in a week. I need cellular. The price gap between the normal cellular and titanium is „just“ 250€. I dont trust this jet black look (scratches) 😅.
The jet black looks really good. They say it’s 10% slimmer, but I feel like it looks more slim than that in your video. The watches look really nice, but I’m going to stick with my Ultra 2.
I bought the jet black s10 46 mm with ink band.
❤ it and hope the suit is settled soon to regain the O2 sensor.
I heard that Jet Black on iPhone 7 was prone to scratches. Is it so for the Apple Watch 10 in jet black too?
It was, but it will take some time to tell on the new watch
@@zollotech I see, thanks!
I have the original Ultra and plan on keeping that for a long time to come. I have not seen anything that has changed enough to upgrade.
Sticking with my ultra 2 it love it and it has amazing battery life
YOU ARE PUTTING THE BANDS ON WRONG…. It goes in the other way. That’s why it was a tight fit 5:35
I am surprised that for series 10 they didn't do any major design change like they did with iPhone X. I got a series 8 used a few months ago and I feel like I'll probably be good for two or three years since I was using a series 4 that still worked great just reduced battery life
I’m saving for this
