If you gotta advertise for a sponsor, this is the way to do it. Props to Krakenships for giving the crew enough free reign to produce it in a way that feels enough like a normal Edition to still be entertaining
Did you check their site though? The EU site is a dead link, the AU site has a notice that they're closing in January, and the Americas site only has 17 items (plus one option to bundle from the other items). Of the items they do have, there are only three races. I will say that the minis they do have are well designed. I couldn't verify whether there's a minimum purchase for free shipping, as they do not show shipping on the checkout screen, free or no. I'd have to enter payment info to go any farther.
I disagree. Ads of any kind are bad and need to go away forever. When ads are in the beginning of youtube video we can at least skip them. but when an entire video is an ad, that just sucks. Ad blocker extensions for internet browsers exists for a reason. i wish they existed for tv and radio as well.

I think this is great! It's a dnd themed show being paid by a company that supports and is supported by the dnd community. There is respect going both ways and we get the Benito's for free. Man shorts even respects us enough to make it entertaining. They gotta pay the bills and I'm all for it!

People don't just spend hours every day to create content that is free of charge purely for your viewing pleasure and if they do, you're not the ones they rely on to continue doing so. Yes, everyone hates ads, but lets think a bit more abstract than just me me me and how it only relates to you in the scope of everything else that actually goes in to play.

This was pretty funny despite basically being a commercial. Neat to see you all try your hands at the old "high production value" special effects. The shrinking was very convincing
Ok so with that kind shrink ray I expect to see Hobbes over his shoulder telling him this is a bad idea. Also I'm surprised that Sarah didn't cast an acid spell instead of fire if she wants to be different

As someone who spent my adult life in the tech side of the entertainment industry, and has directed and edited many commercials, what can I say? This is one of the best commercials I've seen!
I love it, going back to the basic and roots of D&D. I was kind of missing this from the man shorts. I was secretly wondering when you would actually go to this Edition. And this episode, didn't disappoint either.
I proudly avoid any advertisements and influence of the media...thanks to you guys I've bought cereal, dice and now I have to go look at minis. You are all evil. Well done.
