    Just got the notos, and I cleaned the barrel with a patchworm. Took a few shots, and so far, I love it. The groups are a bit sloppy, but the barrel has to get seasoned. It's almost silent. I was not expecting that for sure.

      Hell yeah! It is absolutely quiet enough to be backyard friendly. Also mine took 100 or so pellets to settle in as well. Im sure you have no problem breaking er in! Haha enjoy!

      @@renterp I was just outside shooting. I am hitting a one-inch target at 45 yards with no problems. At 30 yards, I was testing the groups, and it was hitting the same hole five times. I was getting confused because I was not seeing impacts all that I did with the crosman hollow points. I love that thing, and I can't wait to hunt with it."

    Have you seen the maple products they have 15 round magazine for the Notos

    • @renterp
      @renterp  Месяц назад

      Yeah, ive looked at a few of the aftermarket mags. They look great and the Maple ones out of Canada perform flawlessly. I personally havent had any issues with the stock mags, so i havent felt the need to replace them yet. But you better believe if the stock mags shit the bed, ill be buying the Maple ones. So far, if it aint broke, dont fix it. Hahaha have. A goodn.

      I've got three of the Maple products mega mags 15 shot for my Notos. They work flawlessly! My original mag that came with my rifle didn't work from the get go so I bought these and haven't had any cycling problem since.😊

      @@stevengoodman3498 yeah I watched a demo of the Maple 🍁 mags on their YT channel (i think). They used a full stock mag, removed the barrel from the notos, and cycled all of the pellets in the mag, through the breech. Because there was no barrel they went through the breech and fell forward out onto a towel. He showed how the pellets were deformed slightly while cycling through the stock mag, before they ever touch the rifling. The video was quite conclusive. Its what convinced me to buy their mags, when mine shits the bed. Fortunately I really havent noticed an accuracy impact using the stock ones. The Notos still shoots plenty accurate for me. I bought 2 extra factory mags when I bought my Notos, and I honestly only use 1. One is in my gun case, so Ill never forget to bring one, one is in the Notos which is the only one I really use, and the third is still in the package as a spare. Eventually I will get some maple mags. They really are Top Notch. If I drop the factory ones many more times they are gonna give up, but for now. It has treated me well. Have a fine day homie.

    Hey bro I don't know how to DM so sorry for the random comments on random videos.
    If your gun shot slugs very well would you predominantly use those for most hunting? Or is there a pellet in your opinion more effective?
    25 caliber largest game I would be going for would be small pigs in coyotes.

    • @renterp
      @renterp  Месяц назад +1

      Great question and no worries! In 22 cal I personally would stick to pellets as I know they expand really really well. In 25 cal tho I may be more inclined to shoot slugs at larger game. Ensuring I get the penetration I need for a clean ethical kill. That being said my .25 FX Independence Elite would shoot through a frying pan at 25 yds with pellets. So pellets arent to be dismissed. But for me, I shoot mostly small game and 90% of the time over penetration is a concern, so I stick to pellets. But if i was out shooting prairie dogs or something I might want the extra oomf of a slug. But me personally. I prefer pellets for pest control. Hope that helps, have a fantastic day bud.

      @@renterp I swear you give the absolute best information.
      I've got a 25 caliber and it shoots these FX hybrids very well but I've noticed a good percentage of the animals I shoot at have had enough time to jump before the bullet arrives.
      Just ordered a buck rail suppression kit and I'm taking your advice for experimentation picked up some Diablo pellets. Thank you so much again man I'll let you know how it goes. Hope you have a great weekend I'll be ready when your next video comes out

    • @renterp
      @renterp  Месяц назад +1

      @@NecroninSunderland yeah man I would certainly think the Buck Rail kit will help. And the company is top notch in customer service. With any suppressor, you will likely have a small point of impact shift from the weight of the device alone. In .25 cal it may be less noticeable tho as the strength of the barrel is likely slightly higher than in .22 cal. (Most likely). I did notice a shift in POI when I added my Red Corn Outdoors suppressor to my Armada. I also noticed after about a month, that I was having accuracy and clipping issues. Ive since removed the suppressor and if I use it in the future (as it absolutely works reducing the volume) im going to gently dremel out the center hole to eliminate the clipping. Tho it was very very slight. It did start to affect accuracy. So just occasionally check the final baffle or end cap on the Buck Rail suppressor to see if you see any lead. Likely you wont have any issues, just be aware its always a possibility. Yes, please let me know what you think of the Buck Rail setup. I have a few Buck Rail items and plan on picking up more! Good luck bud.

      @@renterp hey bro Just an opinion from a fan whenever if ever you do that modification to yours you should definitely make a video on it. I don't have the confidence and haven't seen it clearly with my own eyes to do that myself when the time comes, do you think some of the more high dollar suppressors may not have that issue and if it does shift my groupings is it still correctable with the scope or does it create variable changes that can be unpredictable?
      My main issue is my gun a shooting the slugs beautifully and accurately but the air is escaping out the end of the barrel like a trumpet. Just not getting to them fast enough once they hear the crack.

    • @NecroninSunderland
      @NecroninSunderland Месяц назад +1

      Just re-read what you said again and I am understanding now as far as the final baffle and the end cap. I will definitely check that.
