Thanks for this video, I hope you continue to create a regular series of videos on stablecoins, it seems to be an element of the crypto space that gets very little comparative attention on all the numerous crypto channels I follow. Given that the yields on most stablecoins is substantial and a solid return I've always found this omission a real missed opportunity for both content creators and their followers.
Love the nondegen tone of this channel!

Great overview. At what amount would you say using these platforms becomes worth it given the gas fees?
Curious your thoughts on Anchor protocol. Currently UST became unpegged and dropped to .97. Their 20% advertised rate also had to get dropped and remains about 18% with the flash crash crushing LUNA.
It’s interesting but given USTs departure from peg I couldn’t highlight it in this video

It returned to peg fairly quickly and they are increasing the limit of how much UST can be traded on exchanges each day to allow for more arbitrage under such extreme conditions.

Would you ever consider making an absolute beginner video summarizing all of this but for people who have never entered the realm of finance before? Basically people like me are learning all of the rules and terminologies of finance plus the entire meta-verse of crypto at once and it’s mind-boggling. All I do is watch videos and I still have no idea what’s going on.
On Polygon curious why Beefy Finance and Autofarm are left out? Not blue chip or battle tested enough yet?

@@JustinBram Beefy crossed 100MM TVL on polygon and increasing consistently. Also one of the best dev communities I've seen in DeFi. Don't let the BSC stigma fool you. These guys are legit and will continue to gobble up market share.

Maybe the centralized solutions (BlockFi, Celsius) would be good options if you don’t want to go down the rabbit hole

They spend years of learning, and beginner (like you) want to absord all this knowledge in a shortcut explanation, beccause these beginner are to lazy to learn it from the basics. These beginner are later one the exact some whiner, who lose money because don't learn it from the basics.

Great video! Personally, I think it's easier for new users to start on Binance Smart Chain as a GAS FEE is much lower here compares to ETH. There is some interesting DeFi project here that solely focuses on stablecoins yield farming like Dopple.Finance. Acceptable yields (10-20% APR) and certified by Certik. Good for beginners who are looking for a safe haven to start learning about DeFi.
I think you check out Grizlyfi, it's a project that provides high yield on Stablecoin mining in their Stablecoin Hive.. it's the best
