Note you need at least 15k in DAI to open a vault so the example in the video would not be able to be done on oasis as the video he shows 12k DAI

Solid video! Comparing vs. Alchemix where you borrow ETH against ETH - you can also just swap your borrowed ETH for any stable coin immediately after you borrow (including DAI) and it's effectively the same thing as MakerDAO, yes? (less the different tax implications)
Yes but that’ll make your exposure 100% to eth. In this case if you sell the eth you’re short.

may i ask a sincere question? you sound very credible source so i would like to hear your opinion: what's the bull case for eth in your opinion? i mean everybody agrees that eth is going to do well so i guess yea, but i dont quite understand why? in the end it's a high competitive space and eth is alredy losing market share, plus if they lower the gas fee you end up not needing that much eth anyways, so i wanted to hear your opinion, hope is not too much to ask :)
What are your thoughts on liquity?
I don't get the part from 1:03 onwards. If you want get yield on Lido, you need stETH. But if you want use WSTETH on Oasis, you need WSTETH, not these stETH. So how can i use the yielding stETH from Lido to use them as collateral on Oasis? It's not the same coin, i hold stETH now and get yield, but can't use these stETH on Oasis as a collateral? Can anyone explain it?
Justin, what if you lend on almechix get max loan, then get that ETH you loaned mint DAI on oasis like you showed, if get liquidated on makerdao then you just wait for the alchemix loan to repay itself and you never lost your principal plus you got the DAI

would be great to highlight all the risks a bit more: DAI depegging, ETH going down, merge delay for ETH, etc... all the black swans.
To be fair, two of the risks you mention-ETH going down or merge delay-have nothing to do with MakerDao.
@@derickyyy Isn't it that DAI is still mainly backed by ETH ? If ETH price goes down, which is even more likely if there are further delays/issues with scalability plan, then DAI would be hugely impacted. Like it did whenever ETH dropped a lot. Am I missing something ?
