Will definitely get when they drop a Time Force expansion. I cosplay Time Force Red, Wes is my favourite Ranger of all time, definitely worth a try if I can run him like in Legacy Wars!
The Devil's Due The first expansion includes Time Force Pink as she is part of the storyline the expansion is based on. They’re doing character packs in the future as well so we’ll see when they do the rest.
So if we have an expansion pack, can we pick those rangers instead of the original 5? I have the Tommy Oliver pack so i could pick the green ranger instead of the og five right?
This game looks like you could very easily make expansions for it based on other seasons. I would totally play an In Space, Time Force, SPD, or RPM version of this game.
Just got the core game! Can’t wait to play! May I ask where might I find the six paintings on the back wall, where the rangers are holding their helmets?
Ok there is a lot of rules to this but the aspect of having and playing cards is very appealing. Anyway to turn this into a strictly only tcg competitive game by chance? I think it would do as well as DBZ Super card game for sure. Especially since Power Rangers is appealing and well know to almost any crowd. Please consider that, it would be Kool to see Power Rangers in competitive TCG.
If the Rangers fight against the boss and they're able to defeat at least six of the boss's cards but afterwards all the participating Rangers in the battle got knockout and they all got recovered because there was enough energy tokens in the Command Center does that qualify as surviving and winning the game?
I think sometime in August. I paid for the game on it Kickstarter, so I know I (and everyone else who paid for it on Kickstarter)will be getting it a little bit earlier than the retailers.
@@RuffWarl0ck Can't run fortnite ? Easy just cut some paper and make it yourself lol. Yeah I think people still have a hard time understanding board games
As Scott said July for kickstarter backers and August for proper release. Gamestop has it for end of August I believe. Still August is the eta unless something happens to delay public release.
@@scottg1501 Sorry for the confusion. I meant "Game the game" their show on youtube, where they play the game. I'm already a kickstarter backer. thanks thought :)
Does it matter in what order you do the enemy preparation. Example: There are two super putty's and two normal putty's. Do I have to draw normal putty's first? Or can I choose at random?
Apparently you did not see Power Rangers in Space where Bulk and Skull revealed their truest selves. Heroes worthy to stand, and fight, beside the Rangers.
I feel like this game was made overly complex... Like the energy in the command center that goes away when a ranger is "knocked out". It's an essential part of the game, but they could've reworked the game so that once you are "knocked out" that's it; why add a mechanic for the purpose of survival when you could've just made survival more practical by tweaking how many enemies deploy per turn OR how much damage enemies take/deal. It's like a mechanic put into the game to balance a design flaw... Other complexity comes with changing the number of players/rangers. If you change the number of players it also changes the number of the action tokens players have, starting energy pool tokens, revival tokens in the command center, and even the size of your deck/hand. Why not have these be standard... (example: Regardless of the number of players, each ranger has 2 actions). As few, as possible, elements of gameplay should change based on the number of players, the easiest one would be to just change the amount of enemies that deploy. Less players = less enemies deployments, more players = more enemies deployments; maybe have deployments = to the number of rangers (3 rangers, 3 deployments). If the number of deploying enemies must stay 5 in order to get the monsters/boss out every turn after the first (resulting in many games only lasting 4-5 turns). Then reword enemy effects so that the damage they do is based on the number of rangers. Less Rangers playing, less damage so that the Rangers can survive till the end and be able to keep the board from panicking. Most games are designed in this way; the core mechanics stay the same regardless of the number of players.
yea, 4 HyperForce Rangers played the game at Morphicon back in August and indeed someone involved with this game's Game the Game did hint that 3 of the players were previous Rangers
@@SomethingDangerous1 what I mean is that new videos have been consistently stuck between 17-20 views for the first hour or so of release, despite comments and likes being in the hundreds or thousands. I've been seeing it since Friday. It's giving me flashbacks of 305
Great explanation. My only criticism with these how to play videos is that I wish there was a “if you wanna skip setup go to (time)!” disclaimer because, while some of the setup is necessary context for understanding the rules, often viewers like me get overwhelmed with all of the “place this, this, this, this, this, and this here, here, here, and here”. Sorry if this is ranty! Genuinely trying to give constructive feedback
Sorry but setup IS absolutely necessary to play, you can't play if the pieces are still in a box come on pal. Just skip the step yourself if you really feel like so, but keep in mind that "How to play" includes the entire experience of a game (any preparations needed before the game AND the gameplay itself) both go always together.
Okay. So it's a card and dice game so why does it need all those figures? At a first glance it looks like a table top RPG or miniature war game with Power Rangers.
The minis are just for the location. So you're moving around a "map" of Angel Grove, fighting off putties. They could have used cheap cardboard cutouts as pieces, but the minis look nice and in person they are some really high quality minis. In the base game the Megazord is just a token that goes on locations, you have to buy the huge Megazord separate.
Very average card game trying to sell itself by playing into your nostalgia. And the amount of expansions is just disgusting. This game incorporates everything wrong with kickstarter board games.
Yeah one moron question how come they are doing the game series figures and card out of order because went I was little the card was not like that at all and the figures I have paint is missing the dragon mega zord's large figures with the miniature single animal figures addition it set for the card to be able players together the figures Play set
I own gloomhaven and i can understand why that is a board game but why on earth is this a board game in 2019? Is it just for the fun of playing with friends in person? Otherwise having this on a PC or iPad seems not only easier to setup and play but to learn. Then again if it was released as a game im not sure many ppl would buy it .. just kinda confused. Its 2019
It’s actually pretty well balanced, so as long as you know what you are doing. Teamwork and communication is key to beating the enemies in the game. There have been several gameplay demos of the game posted on RUclips that shows just how the game works.
Bulk and Skull turned out great. Watch Countdown to Destruction, they are the true heroes.
It was the Bulk and Skull show with the Power Rangers as guest stars.
Bulk WAS on more episodes than anyone else when you think about it.
Bulk & Skull actually turned out to be decent adults.
"Spike did I ever tell you about the time your dad and I got turned into chimps?"
especially in the shattered grid universe
Johnny Yong Bosch (Black Ranger, Green Zeo Ranger) will be at Anime Boston 2019

If you weren't aware, Time Force is the next expansion coming out. I think the pre-order window closed, but should be available soon.
Did the portraits in the back not include the Black Ranger?
Tommy is so popular, he was shown twice!
Yeah, where's Zack/Adam?
I just wanna see them play this game!
I think that’s why Becca is wearing black... maybe
It's possible that's also why they keep showing the Black Ranger cards as examples.
I went all in, looking forward to the Hyperforce expansion
Could you please make a dedicated playlist for all of your How to Play videos? Thank you.
Just got the game. Some cards say "immediately play another card". Does the next card have to pay its energy cost as wel?
Heck yesssss! I'm all over this game.
Seems awesome.A bit complex could've been simplified a bit more for the causal player. Non the less amazing fun
I didn’t see anything in the rule book about where the shared energy pool was or how much was in it, so this video helps
So if we have an expansion pack, can we pick those rangers instead of the original 5? I have the Tommy Oliver pack so i could pick the green ranger instead of the og five right?
You can mix and match ranger teams as you see fit.
I'm getting this as soon as it comes out in August
This game looks like you could very easily make expansions for it based on other seasons. I would totally play an In Space, Time Force, SPD, or RPM version of this game.
There is already an expansions releasing with the game based on Lord Drakkon/Shattered Grid Comic
There is an in space expansion already and I think an rpm one
Is this game worth the price and is it hard to play
Just got the core game! Can’t wait to play! May I ask where might I find the six paintings on the back wall, where the rangers are holding their helmets?
Those are variant covers for the MMPR comics from boon studios

HYPERFORCE!!!!!!
Happy memories
Can’t WAIT to get my hands on the Shattered Grid expansion!

I'm here because of Becca
Yes!!!! It's about time for this game!!!
Foightin' 'round the Zord..

Does anyone know when this game will be released to the public
I think in the summer

Nice

many fandom tabletop games tend to be that way since their aim is to emulate their source material.
