Thanks for doing these this year also, I wait these sometimes even more than the main coverages, keep up the good work and good luck🔥 Greetings from Finland🇫🇮
Thanks for being out there so early and pumping out a ton of great content ! It fills this gap between coverage SO nicely. I love that figuring out the holes, trying different stuff, shanking into the bushes etc. It gives an amazing perspective for someone who will never see those places, since they are on the other side of the world ;P I do appreciate that
Love it!! My hometown finally… I’m going to my first ever DGPT event this Sunday…. I’ve been playing disc golf on/off for almost 30 years! I do wish this was a permanent course we could play though
Bummer because it's just for this event. Austinites do not get to play on this one. What's really crazy is that we have about 30 courses all within a 25 mile circumference of downtown. At least 3 of them could pose as a perfect pro tour site.
Gossage and Robinson are both up and coming players that I'm looking forward to seeing more of on Jomez or Gatekeeper coverage. Ez and Brodie too, of course.
First hole layup is great when you roll straight from the car to the first tee and start playing. Gives one hole to warm up the arm before you start to rip.
@Brodie, make sure to get over to Juan in a Million for breakfast tacos. Owner is known for the best handshake in town and you can’t beat the food or price. 18:02
I just like to see good golf. I'll take a highlight here and there but they are the cherry on top. So lay up as many times as you want and on whatever hole you want haha. If you're playing well, it's fun to watch!
I love when people lay up on the first tee. I also like cutting my body up as I search for my OB disc in blackberry bushes before rubbing the open wounds in poison ivy.
Omfg...I played a round at Davis Springs here in Austin on Sunday. I left after 9 because even the flippin grass had thorns in it. I was like a walking allergy test
Right off the bat on the first hole, I wish you would tell us where all (or most) of your shots ended up once you get down to the basket. I'd be interested to see which ones worked and which ones didn't.
Ezra!! Question, What did you put on your finger at 5:35 in the vid? When throwing backhand my pointer finger keeps blistering cuz I’m ripping discs sooo damn far. Only problem is that it hurts like a bit** every time I throw. Is that gel/glue something to help stop this problem?
I'm so excited about this event. I've been saying that Austin should have a pro event. I wish they would have used Roy G but I'll still be out there Saturday! Let's Go!
@@jonathanmodisette6997 I bought 3.5 acres in Manor in dec of 2000. It's about 2 miles from the park. The course was a cow farm. Lol! When the park was established and I played my first round there...I hated it! But I went back recently and realized I've really gotten a lot better.

Best practice rounds on RUclips
Glad you enjoy these as much as we have filming them.
It’s not even close.
If you take out jomez I agree. Hard to compete with them
@@monkeyearcheese420 idk Westside with Matt Orum are pretty awesome
@@monkeyearcheese420 depends on the jomez guests imo, these guys keep it solid no matter what

@@ross302ci I agree. These golf course tournaments get kind of repetitive and boring to watch.
I love your guys' videos. Thanks for doing them!
I like the course analysis you guys give. It helps the viewer appreciate the tournament more via the TV. Thanks guys.
Love these. I get my disc golf fix in even before the tournament starts. Good luck to u both.
Thank you!
Love the practice rounds.
Loved this video!! Thank you guys for taking the time to make this and thanks for sharing,
Aaron is like Joe Mental in Dumb & Dumber, sitting in between Lloyd & Harry in the car … poor guy (this series is my very favorite on RUclips!)

U have no idea how excited I get when I see these on my upload feed
Love seeing a new course on Brodie's channel.

@@BrodieSmith I'm coming straight from the imposter challenge. Holy crap! I'm still laughing. Glad to see your work this off-season is paying off.
Welcome to ATX, good to see you guys trying to figure out a new course. Another Goose spotting.
i love par 5 ! im with ya brodie . good luck this week.🏆😤
More par 5's on tour!!!

You're in my hometown! Can't wait to see this preview since this is only a temp course ...
Love having Goose around.
Can't wait to see yall throw there Friday.
Was very cool seeing the guys figure out hole 9

If you ain't first, you're last. RUN EVERYTHING!
Brodie and Ezra- just some wholesome dudes slinging them discs!! Love it!
I like you two together on practice rounds.
Keep your head high Ez your ceiling is the highest of them all 👊
I think Simon lays up? (Ref.: Hole 1, Brodie's request @ 3:10) lol Also a "Risk it for the biscuit" stamp would be sweet.
First hole layup is great when you roll straight from the car to the first tee and start playing. Gives one hole to warm up the arm before you start to rip.
Ezra, master of the firm/soft handshake, aka FOTH shake.
So we not going to talk about how Gannon said "No one look at what I’m throwing” 30:45
Now we just gotta figure out if he was memeing us or not, they dropped part of the lawsuit today
Tickling the roof of my mouth? Never done it, never doing it again.
😂
You’re welcome
Ezra’s right arm is JACKED. Helping that 600 ft throw
The biscuit lmao
Konner is the goat editor
I love the fact that it is challenging all the pros. Everything I have seen says it's a difficult course to get birdie but par is very do able.
@Brodie, make sure to get over to Juan in a Million for breakfast tacos. Owner is known for the best handshake in town and you can’t beat the food or price. 18:02
I like the addition of the Goose! Make him more of a regular!!
these previews are the best!!!
That first hole maybe the hardest on tour? love it.
Dang this course looks pretty nice, some good line variation, I was worried when I head it was an adapted golf course set up last minute.
Hell yeah! Been waiting all day for this
Goose is cool to watch but glad this was the first practice round available to watch I appreciate the speed it went up
love seeing new courses on tour. same ones over and over get a bit stale also the snap on gooses disc is wild
I'll be seeing yall there this weekend, can't wait.
Awesome
21:00 The sound of the car goes well with the flight of the disc.
Good luck at Austin. Lets build on last week!!
Ezra, "I don't love it, but at the same time, I don't like it." 🤣 Also, just bought the Squatch Link bag 🤙
Ezra and Brodie, the doubles pair we never knew we needed in disc golf.
19:00 minutes: "Oh, My Lantus!" - Brody dropping the casual insulin reference.
Got to play Belton last year, had a blast. Tough but fair IMO. Good luck in the event guys!
5:33 Are we not going to talk about how Ezra was putting superglue on his fingers?
I needed some disc golf. This made my night!
The approach to hole 4’s green looks gorgeous

So sick of Golf Course tour events…Good video tho
Especially when we have so many here that these guys could really show off on!
So many rad courses in Austin and they pick this garbage.
I love Aaron G coming in and tossing in no problem, hilarious!!
I'm with ezra, a layup on the first hole is good.

Upvote just for the cake.
Biscuits!!!!
Anyone else see Ezra super gluing his fingers on hole 2 😂
Yeah. I was a little curious about why he was doing that. Did he have blisters or was he just trying to prevent blisters?
Brodie you’re gonna have to start bluring out the sky, you got some free lat 64 advertising in the clouds 😂 22:20
James Proctor and Eric Oakley need to be your next competitors on doubles.
Big snap coming out of Ezra’s hand, Brodie you will be there one day.
Snap is based on how you grip the disc...doesn't correlate to speed

Love seeing Goose there!
love the hole 1 layup play personally
Nice preview boys!
Another good tip for tired drives is to rub your ears, increases blood flow in your cranium, downside is obviously ears feel hot
Standing ten feet to either side of the tee pad would yield much better tracking shots.
Hole9.. looks like a forehand cut roller could be a play
It's been a while since I've seen the Scoober actually work. Looks good! (although, I also really liked Ezra's putt just before it).
Goose!!!!
Sad it's not at Roy G - Roy G is beautiful right now but they are renovating some parts - not ready for a tourney.
Too easy for pros.
I don’t mind a layup on the first tee as long as it’s what the hole requires and there’s some degree of placement needed.
Gossage has some serious snap on his drives
In the back of my mind, I can almost hear the same sound as when his Uncle's pitch hits the catcher's mitt. That boy can chuck.
Gossage just photo bombing all week 😄
enjoyed Gossage around. maybe a guest on every practice round?
Almost made the “dink, donk” haha for real tho only a inch low
Top Three Brodie Exclamations:
- Biscuits!
- Oh my Atlantis!
- Helicopter!
Ezra’s shoes look like all-terrain Hey Dudes⚡️
this course looks nice
Hey Ezra. Have you tried the false skins for fingers that bowlers use? Might help with finger problem better than super glue.
please heart that would be so cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nice course
I like 500 mph backhand cut rollers on my first tee.
Loved seeing the course like this- and loved seeing the goose show up!
Hole 1: is it possible to throw a low forehand under the tree branches? I know it’s tight but it’s gotta be better than a lay up
Please do that high hyzer on hole 6.
👍 par 5s! Let’s get some strategy going here
Ezra super gluing the finger lol 5:33
Never lay up on the first hole!
Hell yeah
