Though I am a musician/producer for better part of my 43 years, u have yet to see a study confirming this I honestly don't believe it's true, as much as we want it to be, there's no sense in that claim, none whatsoever. That said, it definitely isn't detrimental and costs nothing so might as well do it, if nothing else - to create yourself some nice atmosphere. If you are happy, plants will benefit as well 😊
Hey Grow dudes: A great example of plant stressor effects is the Acacia tree. The African Acacia Tree, when it is being being eaten by Giraffe (one of very few animals that eat Acacia) will produce sent signals in the form of ethylene gas. This warms the other nearby trees, which in turn triggers them to increase their acidity. Decreasing how palatable it is to giraffe.
Hell yeah, maestro! We can’t have you down. We don’t give you enough credit. I know that. One of those things you don’t know what you have until it’s gone.
props for recommending a hoop house, just had my first such run with wonderful results, 15' scrog, nice clean buds, no bugs or mystery seeds like i used to get
Good to hear talk about plant stresses. I’ve been using UV Gavita bars in a Gavita panel light for two years and it definitely pushes resin production. My other stress idea that’s proved itself for me is chitosan, it’s in a product called Hyshield made by the Hygrozyme company. I also reduce water the last two weeks, hope the whole community will try stressing the results are real !
New viewer/grower here. I can’t be the only one that watches you guys with a notepad in my hands. I often have to watch videos a couple times to see what I missed while I was laughing. You guys as a team are such a great source of information for me. Thank you. 24:22 - I have an old iPad that I have RUclips on and nothing else. Set up a Plant Music Playlist and put it on shuffle/loop. No CDs required. 👽✌️
I play all different kinds of frequencies for my plants in veg and bloom. All those different types of frequencies help out my plants and help out my body. Nature frequencies is 109hz to 110. But six and three and nines are very powerful. I found out that six three and nine are all connected together on a triangle. I do the triangle setup and I see big improvements using that. Keep up the amazing great show guy's. 🌲💚🤘☮
I'm with dude on that one it's not Christmas till December but it's not officially Christmas till the 12th because we have the 12 days of Christmas as we build up to Christmas day !!! ✌️
Love the show! As someone who doesn’t smoke but consumes a lot of weed, I feel like people are missing the fact that when Snoop quit smoking weed that still leaves vaping and eating weed as options. He’ll never quit! He’s just trying to be healthier about it!
Grow with Dirt & Water.. Works every time for 37yrs .. You kids are Entertaining tho.. Smoke this for Energy , Smoke this for pain & this for Sleep 😂😂😂... We are all going to the same place my friends
only 7 min in but hope you cover the story about the guy hooked his plant to like an EKG and got a big reaction when he burned it, and it happened again BEFORE he burned it, it read his mind!
I know im late but during the end of flower i will water with a hot pepper ferment to stress the plants. Idk if it works but they get sticky so i keep doing it.
You could do a show segment called" bro-bis or known-bis "which tackles the communities questions about growing suggestions we all hear about.😊 Great show and good luck with your grow 😅
Plants talking to each other😅 been knowing this myself. I talk to my plants that I grow. When I'm on a hike I talk to the plants and especially the trees thanking them for their service. I use what I call light stress therapy. Using a window as the main light source and a lamp for artificial directly above I rotate my plants when they are starting to lean towards the window. They go crazy
Dude Scotty screw the haters I listen to you guys everyday at work I listen to so damn much I feel like I know you guys and I always tell my boss the guy Scotty on here seems like a cool ass dude to chill and smoke with
The nail through the stalk thing is super old. I remember reading about that in early 90’s High times. Same issue said to put food coloring and flavoring in the water at the end too. 😂
I have issues with light stress. Like I think I don't use enough in veg and then during flower they can't take it when I turn them up. That's With my most recent grow. Not all of them. Just learning lessons. Love show, content, & all yall!
The age old answer "it depends". Stressing all depends on the person or thing doing the stressing and their relationship with the person or thing being stressed. It has to do with how the person or thing giving the stress is doing so and how the person or thing receiving the stress perceives, receives or resists. One person or plant can take more stress than another in different areas and vice versa. This requires cultivating a relationship between the stresser and the stressee. It's a type of communication. I would say that the worst problem humanity has is not knowing how to communicate properly. Because we have been lied to about everything. Talking, listening, eye movement & contact, body language, emotional, financial, & spiritual communications. So many people argue with each other while they're both saying the same thing from a different viewpoint/ perspective.
Enjoy the show. Subscribed. So thinking about getting the UV light from Migro. Do you know if there's an optimum time during the 12 hour period during the last three weeks of flower to run the UV light for 2 hours? At the beginning, middle or end of the day?
I drilled a half inch bit through two of my plant’s stalk to test it, then lodged a wooden skewer to make it more difficult to heal closed. They turned out great, no idea if this had an effect either way
Uhh ,could be broscience but,,,, a great grower claims cooling down during flower will dense up buds but even the popcorn buds. As for Larfy buds,,, I smokem while I,m waiting for the dry to finish then I hit those popcorns during cure. I just can,t wait to taste the fruits of my labor!
Another great show guys I'm totally digging the positive stress thing totally get that with people and plants Scotty I'm totally with you I'd love to tap into that mycelium network that trees and plants in the forest have going cuz I bet there's some wild shit going on there. Definitely going to have to check out maestro's page and Rasta Jeff's is always Grambo awesome show dude you rock Scotty keep it real see you guys on Monday looking forward to the fundraiser thing sounds awesome let's do it
Dude Can sensitive mimosas plants be a hydrolic plant? Uses turgitity to hold up the leaves ,fine hairs could open a valve to release the pressure, that's how I think it works
WAY WAY back I used to veg under 18/6 then one day I realised my girls slowly starting to flower....... Was very confused as I thought that was the veg cycle lol
There is a video on RUclips with CMH VS HPS and you know that the CMH is more blue then red and has more uv light then HPS to which the CMH produced a more appealing and more resinous bud then the HPS.Ive personally flowered under a 3500k and a 6000k LEDs and the 6k produced more resin on the buds(trichomes) opposed to 35k produced larger buds with less trics.
Plant stresses like the nail through the stem I always was told a needle and thread through leave the thread in and leave it in a little tiny cup of sugar water I guess the idea is to help get carbs up into the stem quicker and the last couple weeks of flowering using a needle and thread I guess it's less damaging to your 1-in stocks but damn
This year growing I was stressed all growing season. The rain wouldn't stop. Killed three plants..then on top of that someone went in and took half of one of my plants
When yall are talking about the frequencies using hz tests in the frequencies of NPK and avoiding the ones that destroy microbes.... maybe use the resonate frequency of... powery mildew... or bugs for IPM😮?? Along with that Elctro-ponics....😅 in a synganic living hydro soil 😆 🤣
Willow trees in the uk know when it’s gonna rain because the day before they flip all there leaves over so they can be cleaned when it rains it never fails so you can tell if it’s going to rain the day before
I have watched every episode of time team and it rains a t least once every 3 days it seems over there. I have always been curious about the gardening climate
The idea is to get the conversation started for the community to chime in so we all learn something. Go back and watch it again. Maybe you missed one? 😢😢😢
@@ScottyRealDGC Youre taking it the wrong way.I heard all the other things but those two seemed to be what all y'all agreed may be good and all the other stuff being bro science.I agree with those 2 because I've tried both and I tried splitting my stalks for stress the last 2 weeks while flushing.
@TheDudeGrows I appreciate in Dude but double it and give it to the next guy.I love what y'all do I've been watching for ATLEAST 2 yrs now.Have a blessed one and may the light never go out on your grow bro..
The nail through the stalk won’t kill the plant I’ve had my stalk split down the middle half way down the stalk , put some electrical tape on it and she never even showed a sign of stress Didn’t notice any more production in trichomes or terps She did herm in a few spots after that but not the whole plant , cut off the branch that herm and it was fine
Rappers and hip hop artists don't exactly have the same values as Punk rockers to rappers selling out is kind of the goal it's pretty much obvious in their lyrics
Nothing beats the freshly cleaned apparatus with iced water. The perfect tool for the job.
Thank you for shouting out those of us that are still struggling in prohibition land❤
the fight continues
I found a few RUclips channels that feature 432Hz music to stimulate plant growth, it’s like a jukebox for your plants
Try playing pink Floyd the wall album or dark side of the moon works great.
I lean my speakers on my containers and play water and bird sounds…just saying
@@Aj00047I can dig it !!
