Men definitely cheated the pot but like its also on the dealer for not making the pots right before the run out n also the tournament organizers for watching videos n still getting it wrong

Why do they not just ban people who cheat immediately? The moment that idiot will kassouf try to steal chips at the casino he should be immediately banned from ever playing at any forum with the public, same thing when any player cheats and it's on camera

Agree with this. But hard to determine with certainty sometimes

This is on the dealer to manage the pot. If Men took back chips it’s on the floor to prove it.

Not to beat up on the dealers too much but during the mixed Omaha event that Hellmuth final tabled the dealer who was on stream couldn't keep the game order straight, there were multiple long pauses between hands to figure out pots (with hi/lo variants multi way pots can get tricky but still) and the floor had to be called on a preflop pot raise because there was a dispute how much the pot raise was allowed to be. I know these dealers travel as well, and at my local WSOPC I saw almost a dozen misdeals in a 13 hour day of play.

The player is also responsible for protecting his action. Maybe if our guy there was paying a little more attention and acting a little less like a fool, Men would not have had the opportunity to steal.

I don't think he cheated on purpose. He really thought it was a split or that he was covering his opponent? Old man with poor judgement?
Has the floor commented on the incident afterwards, when they have seen the video clip?

My favorite final table is Ungar outdoors in 97. (I didn't look it up, pretty sure it was 97.)
Not only did I watch poker for the first time because somehow Mr. Kotter was doing commentary, but I recognized I was warching a legend play - before I ever played a hand of poker in my life.
