I came for Raheem but the interview was FANTASTIC! GREAT JOB!!! I'm super excited about the season and our LEGENDARY head coach. His demeanor is so infectious and I'm excited for what's coming for us! RISEUP
Yeah, the only question missing was “Why are you wearing a Braves hat for this interview?” I’ve been saying the Falcons organization is trying match what the Braves have done the last decade and the hat may just illustrate that.
Man, I lived i lived in Tampa at that time and poor guy had Josh Freeman. I hated that pick but loved the hire. Always been a fan of Morris. And Robert great job again. I wait for these.
This is such a good interview. Coach Morris always knows the right things to say in what he wants & needs for the team and organization and keeps it on the real. Everything that he has learned from Quinn, McVay, and others over the years has build him into the place that he is in today. He is bringing something that is unique now that he has gained so much experience from his time in NFL and can’t wait to see what he brings to our organization. Much love Coach Ra. #RiseUp 🔴⚫️
Great interviewer and interviewee. Morris seems adept at the people part of leadership. Now I understand why a lot of the players wanted him to get the job after his interim stint.
It's really striking how much he echoes Dan Quinn's philosophy as a head coach. Player first, player friendly, fast, physical, free. I'm excited to see how Raheem's career develops and how this season goes.
Terry deserves all the credit in the world for getting the Falcons to the point. Favorites to win the division and with the best qb room in the division and we look the most poised to be contenders over the next 10 years. I look back at the MR2 years gratefully but we basically got 6 playoff runs in 14 years. I think over the next 10 years we match that and maybe surpass that.
When you analyze many of the defensive draft picks during the Ryan era you can see how Matt went ringless. I like Terry, however if this team is not good these next two years he may be gone.
@@Jjonescp3 there’s a lot of gm’s that “may” be gone it’s the nfl. No falcon gm in my lifetime has rebuilt a better young team so Terrys given himself as good a shot as anybody to remain.
Always love the pod, but this is honestly one of the great (sports....?) journalistic products I have seen in some time. Great job Robert and crew! Clearly Nate was holding everyone back...😁 #sirrobertmays #stories #beartfdown #athletic #nateticeismyspiritanimal
I like Raheem man. I dont completely agrees with some of the moves hes made in FA and the draft but I trust that hes got a vision of success for this team. Plus it only feels right that the next great black HC comes out of Atlanta.
Well, since he’s had his last season-ending injury (2021), he’s had two of the best seasons for his career. It’s easy to look at his injuries and overlook the two full seasons when he was healthy and how impactful he was….
Great now that your here can you explain throwing players like Dupree, Patterson, and ridder under the bus publically and blaming players incorrectly for Arthur Smiths failures. Then instead of player development and coaching you just dumped great players and kept problematic players like dijan Robinson and Kyle Pitts which neither one can block or take a hit and should be wide relievers instead of their current positions but yet none of your staff can even identify these problems. Just like calen McNary who cannot cover his side of the offense. How do you explain all your major flaws and then con everyone into believing the team is just fine when it's far from it. Fotenot is as much to blame as well.
You'll listen to everything you just saw about Penix's skill, and still be greedy and want a 20 year old pro ready, championship caliber player. Be a little thankful. He'll be perfectly fine if Matt Stafford, Cousins and Geno are still balling in their 30s
@@jayanthkumar7964He's probably not the first QB to be drafted at 23 yrs old. Qbs can play into their 40's now ,with the new rules. Penix jr was the best pocket passer with some mobility in the draft. He probably should of been top 3 qbs.
@@OnlyMissed2K Lol I get that bcuz its the falcons but its a fact that we havent been this relevant in the last 8 years. I also think its a great chance our QB2 is better than the other QB1s in our division so we have the best chance for long term relevancy in the south as well.
@@jordansheffield6101 I don’t think last year is a good indicator of Bryce young from what I saw at Alabama that dude is the truth and he didn’t just have an awful rookie season
@@OnlyMissed2K Bryce's situation is another reason to be proud of how Terry built this team. Bryce is not a bad qb, they just got their QB before getting playmakers and now he looks bad. We could have been in that same boat with Justin Fields (who I wanted desperately) but Terry stuck to best player and didnt over reach and now we have a team that can contend now and later. Just a great overall situation we shouldnt take for granted.
Robert is on a hot streak with these interviews he’s not missing

Love seeing coach in that A hat. You can tell he really loves the city and this team.

"(Head coach) always sounds great, but (the best part of it) is the Atlanta part."
That's my head coach! Let's put on for the city!

We hear you!
Great interview
Really good interview. Appreciated May’s mastery of his subject and his pinpoint questions.

Absolute bomb💣 interview my guy. Great questions when it came to vision for the team. Last 12 mins was 🔥

I think the falcons nail the HC hire everytime, but I like Raheem 😆
Hot take
Y'all need to stop looking over Algeria

R.Morris looks like he's Congolese
Why is everyone so disrespectful to the rest of the draft picks like 1 player makes up the draft
All he’s gonna hear is: 28-3 until he wins the big one!
He’ll be one and done
You got to stop getting high
i don’t get drafting a qb who’s had 4 season ending injuries in college. that’s a major red flag.
Sure considering he’s gonna be behind one of the best lines in the league and has the biggest accurate arm in the Draft.
I love how you think you know better than all those names Raheem mentioned.
I look at it as a QB that led his college team to the championship game against "cheater's" who never should of qualified for tournament.😮
Well, since he’s had his last season-ending injury (2021), he’s had two of the best seasons for his career.

Crash And burn. You can see it now.
You don't need to capitalize the "a" in "and" dude, I'd worry about your spelling and overall grammar before worrying about the Falcons...
And if that happened it won’t be no different than any other HC the falcons have had

Maybe you can show me where Morris threw players under the bus on video. Thanks!
But Penix isn’t a young Qb

The dude doing the interview looks like he's wearing pajamas. 🫤
*_Dammit_* now _I_ see it! Yeah, the collar is wrong for a formal shirt & we can't see the pants.
Yeah because every coach in the league wears a suit and tie when we see them do interviews. 🙄
