I deeply agree on what he says in the beginning on what it takes to win with blasters, like today you see people win with axe that never performed well before the axe meta whereas even last year when Luna or Cody were doing good with blasters, not EVERYONE was playing it unlike right now with axe. Axe was always easy to play, and guns way more difficult and skilled, thats why everyone was enjoying the game way more back then I think too
You only have a few players playing axe though. Axe is lowkey crazy though, but they can only do so much. Remember when they gut the weapon. Had major set back and in tourney only player winning is kyna with axe

In 2s if you don't have at least one axe on your team you literally cant win and in 1s the last grand final was 2 axe players. You see far far more players use axe today than people play blasters back when they were good, axe is just really the easy mod, anyone can play it unlike blasters. And i think that is unhealthy for the game. Axe literally kills in like 8 moves, how is this even fair ? Kenya for example, im not saying his bad at the game but ive never even seen this guy in top 8 in an international tournament before this axe meta, just like the previous heavy weapon meta were you saw Luna or snowy destroy everyone, and people like anonymous Alex win tournaments, like this guy was only doing good because teros was broken, and I think this is to an extent also the case with Kenya. Like his mega grounded playstyle wouldn't even work with any other weapon than axe, he and many others and doing good because axe is broken currently.

Me and my friend also on a verge to quit. He is high plat and im a low diamond. When we play 2v2, most of the time we wont meet skilled teams instead get trolled to death with sigs and some cheesy axe players. Idk how to explain it but we enjoyed the game in like 2021 so much more. Also imugi yeah. He can be dealt with but you need to put twice more effort and its just not worth it anymore when you lose 12
I feel like guns aren’t as shit as everyone thinks it’s just such a hard weapon that many people give up on perfecting it and more people play easy weapons like lance axe
brawlhalla never really has a weapon be absolute shit, the balancing is never that off and do you know how much effort it takes to make lance work at top level play man? still more effective than blasters though lol which is why we see more top tier lances than blasters all everyones saying is that undoubtedly blasters are undertuned compared to every other weapon to a noticeable extent

@@be7256 ye I’m almost level 100 Reno but the only things I feel like hurt blasters is they’re really easy to counterplay and their kill options are really predictable, if someones the same skill level as me its a big uphill battle in disadvantage state but in advantage state even valhallans look like plats with the right reads

He had a pretty bad wrist injury a little bit before BCX 2023, he played in CEO 2024 although hes still injured but if all goes well he’ll be back by BCX 2024 and beyond

heavy weapon metas often have players feeling the most burnt out on brawl, theres not much skill expression and the passive players start to thrive
