I’m glad i stumbled upon this channel
Hi, Sun. This too worked like a charm. Thanks 😊
Precedence is absolutely the right word, and one that many British people don't know or use. Thanks for the content, and a reminder that clever, inquisitive people can have a better command of another language than some native speakers.
Hello! Thank you for the informative video - it was really helpful! However, I'm facing some challenges with Monterey; I can't find the option to disable "Lockdown mode" in Mullvad, and I still experience DNS leaks even after installing the profile. Any additional guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hey @SunKnudsen , now that Mullvad has released a browser (basically a pre-hardened firefox) I'm curious on your thoughts on it.
Cheers, love your content.
Does this slow down ping times versus just using your ISP's DNS?
I am trying to stop DNS leaks on my Iphone SE. I am able to download the DNS profile but the install option does not appear when I go to the settings tab. In the video that option shows up at 0:39 but for me it does not show up. I am running iOS 17.4.1.
Tried this on an iPad, but it’s still leaking DoH. Any thoughts on what could be wrong?
would using a different VPN and different DNS provider be better for privacy than using 1 provider for both?
say for example using ProtonVPN nd using Mullvad for DNS
is the config profile read only now? Says it's been archived from the link?
How is this with pi-hole?
How do you do this in windows 11?
do you know how it conflicts with apple private relay?? and does it consumes more internet data like a vpn
Not sure about private relay… it would likely consume a little more data but very little… only what is required to establish Diffie-Hellman key exchange and perhaps a little overhead due to encryption.
What’s the purpose of this whole thing and what does it do?
Secures your DNS lookups
Mulvad is cool, but isn't there a FOSS option? (for linux)
PORTMASTER safing
This didn't work on desktop. Still leaking dns.
I still get Leaking WebRTC IPs on iOS not sure what I’m doing wrong
Hey guys, DNS over HTTPS does not mitigate WebRTC leaks… github.com/sunknudsen/privacy-guides/blob/master/how-to-configure-firefox-for-privacy-and-security/user.js#L24 does when using a user.js file on Firefox. I also believe enabling “Lockdown Mode” on iOS and macOS does when using Safari.
Privacy with apple products is a joke.
Actually, Apple privacy is very secure
