Incorrect assumption. If you recall, they make a comment at one point about how many times they've fixed damage to that truck. It is the same truck. Lex probably did what wealthy people do, opened up a body shop in yjr back of the mansion and whenever Clark destroys the truck, has it towed there, repaired, and towed back to the Kent farm.
Had a good laugh at the oxymoron of Michael telling Tom and Ryan he's an adult when they say they like superhero films. When Michael has written and promoting a fart book😂.
The funny thing about this episode is that most of the stuff Clark imagines does indeed happen later on: Lionel knows about the secret and will blackmail Jonathan, while Lana will indeed end up in Lex's arms! Nevertheless, it's really a brilliant episode, driven by Tom's performance and Steve De Knight's frenetic script (redeeming himself for Thirst). Splinter also sets up next week's major Brainiac episode and also answers why Jonathan runs after all. And yes, it has to be said that Allison was at her Season 5 gorgeous best here.
People would think that Clark was seeing things but yeah like you said those things happen later in this season I like this episode because Tom was on his game
Yeah, that's true. I think the silver kryptonite only severely heightened his fear of someone finding out his secret and is out to get him, and his fear of losing Lana, but of course, he was the one to break up with her later on.
Tom's acting in this is 11/10. If you compare this with season 1 acting, you'll see. That's what I love is that Tom doesn't peak. He just keeps getting better and better all the way up to season 10
I had the same thought as Bryce: Just like Shattered is Rosenbaum's finest hour on Smallville, Splinter is Welling's. His performance as Clark spirals nonstop into paranoia is incredible. Take a bow, Tom!
@@easyalpha1 I liked her in Promise the most. Rotten episode, but she's on point in every scene and changes her acting depending on what she knows about Clark and who she's talking to.
@Costas22 yeah it's definitely one of his top performances. he has grown so much over the course of the 5 seasons so far, and will keep leveling up as the series progresses! especially in the last 3 when most of the final cuts had either close ups or ECU (I am assuming due to budget, back then you just couldn't get digital to perform at the level of film cameras without spending the amount you were saving by switching to film 🤦♀️lol) and his facial expressions would speak volumes. based on what he's said in the podcast, he prob wouldn't want to star in another series again but he really shined in this role and would love to see him in more where you can have time to allow to really get to know the character.
Lex: I don’t want to hurt you. Clark: But I want to hurt you. This episode was one of my absolute favorites. Anytime Clark’s mind is broken or altered, like when on Red K, it brings out a sense of honesty that he has been keeping a secret. Splinter was different because it didn’t bring out just inhibitions, it brought out full blown paranoia. All his deepest fears and insecurities were rushed to the surface and became his new reality. If you wanted to know what a god looked like with a completely broken mind - Splinter answers this for us.
10:58 I must say that Chloe is a damn good responsible person to keep Clark's secret. She was strong-minded. And knew what to say and do. To protect him.
@ShaneSkaalerud-nk2jk oh I couldn’t agree more! Chloe and Clark were the only reasons why I stuck around with Smallville. Chloe made mistakes early on sure but that’s part of growing up and maturing. She loved Clark so much and even Don Whitehead one of the producers said Chloe loved Clark the most. Chloe will always be the shoulder for Clark to lean on when the Lana drama comes to a head this season and doesn’t end well for Clark. Chloe will always choose Clark no matter what. Even if it means betraying Lana. Chloe’s true loyalties will forever be to Clark. ❤️❤️
Milton Fine's intro coming out of the ship brought that same vibe as Robert Patrick's T-1000 as he arrived in the past in T2: Judgement Day. The director had to be inspired by the Terminator franchise.
Yep. There's also the episode where he gets caught by a security guard and turns his finger into a fluid metal spike and uses it to pierce the guard's brain through the eye.
That shot of Lana looking at Clark with an evil stare after she kissed Lex was actually Michael's idea on the day of the shooting. He thought it would amplify Clark's paranoia. And Marshall went with it even though the show never broke the 4th wall. The DVD commentary for this episode with Marshall, Masters and De Knight is really insightful.
@@rubenlopez2764 My favorite was Lana storming in his office and accusing him of harming Clark while he just stood there, took it all in and said "This is the part where I aski what you're talking about".
Thanks for remind us of the dvd commentary. This is one of the reasons why they should get directors and writers more often on the podcast we would get a lot more bts stories and insights about the show, the characters, the scenes and storylines.
For me this episode reminded me of Hitchcock Vertigo. Tom did such a great job in this episode. James as Professor Milton is such a great character. I liked how when Clark was acting paranoid he played along and at the end he didn’t. The scenes between the two John’s was so powerful. The fight scenes at the end were so well done.
Really loved Tom's performance in this one! I thought he did amazing playing a paranoid Clark. This is indeed the beginning of Lexana. Thanks again guys! ❤
🌹🌹🌹 "Splinter" Another Season 5 classic, one of which Tom Welling really excels, his character going through extreme paranoia, suffering from hallucinations after being exposed to the silver kryptonite, he really put everything into this performance and the directing was stellar. The silver kryptonite again is another plot device used for a character driven story to see what happens if Clark was pushed to the extreme that eventually he would lose all hope in humanity and even his own. What makes this episode so great is I as a viewer was also put through the mill, realising Clark's worst fears thinking everyone was turning against him, most notably the foreshadowing of Lex Luthor as his biggest threat, Lana's betrayal - there was certainly some element of truth to what he perceived as reality even under the influence. Of course, it was all fueled by the cunning Braniac in his master plan to push Clark to the brink of self destruction, just enough to manipulate him, but also designed to gain his trust for a more sinister plot later in the next episode "Solitude". There is a similar episode in Season 6 favourite "Labyrinth" that was like entering a twilight zone of the subconscious when you didn't know what was real and what wasn't. I have to give kudos for episodes like these, firstly it's a testament to Tom's really good acting and also goes to show why Smallville is so good when it nails it in a creative writing sense. All round, very well done!
😑💔 only it won’t be just Clark’s keeping his secret but will also from someone else’s, when Chloe keeps from others even from him out of unaware🙂↔️😑 and yet like returns too her desperate high school self in later seasons🤦🏻
Splinter is such a great episode, Tom really knocked it out of the park with this one, it's episodes like this where Tom should get the acting credit he deserves. What struck me most was the look of anguish on Clark's face after he realises how close he came to killing Lana, as he carried her in his arms. Not to mention how bad he must have felt having also hurt his parents. It felt like he was more dangerous with paranoia than he ever was on Red K and that must have simply terrified him. The car chase scene was epic and I loved the song choice for that scene, Stereophonic's Superman.
This was a great episode. We are in season 5 and we have literally seen Tom grow as an actor and this episode really showed how much he has grown as an actor. I loved how Chloe saves the Kent's from Clark and even though they are a little shocked, they don't bat an eye that she knows his secret. It seems that coming up to the 100th episode, everyone really brings their A game. James Marsters was really a great addition and I wish he was a main cast member. This was definitely 3 roses for me. Tom's acting was awesome and it goes to show that when giving the mantle of Clark Kent/Superman to a relatively unknown actor, it has paid off. *** I'm not a part of the LGBT+ community but I fully support them and I literally teared up listening to Zeb talk about having to keep his secret and I'm glad that he can be himself now.
Kristin and Allison especially looked great this episode. I noticed it originally when I first saw it, but for Allison the hair/makeup department really were on their game. She certainly looked her most gorgeous in this season overall.
I wanted to say that I also felt bad for Lex in this episode especially when he tells Lex that Lana will never love you because she knows your heart. I hope that James can make it on the podcast one day. Shout out to all the stunt performers in this episode. Natalie did a great job in the makeup department as well.
Michael Rosenbaum has interviewed James Marsters on the other podcast, but I agree they should obviously get him on this one. On the other podcast they talked more about Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but Smallville did come up.
The transformation of Clark's paranoia goes through like 3 to 4 stages and as you said driven by Tom's performance. I also enjoy the transition shots in this epsiode from Clark's paranoia POV.
I’m surprised no one brought up the outstanding scene between Clark and Chloe at the hospital. It was one take with the camera moving around them. It was incredible filming and perfectly executed
This episode was so good. Braniac infecting Clark purposely and then saves him so cleverly. The introduction of Sliver Kryptonite. James Marsters as Vril Dox/Milton Fine aka Braniac was cast perfectly. The man's voice when he speaks sounds sentient. His arrival and the plan he sets out for Zod's preparation begins with this episode. Also Marsters as the voice of Lex Luthor in Superman: Doomsday again brought that silent ruthlessness.
No, he was a vampire. 😂 The joke about the red trucks… I felt bad for their insurance companies! 😂😂 I will never be able to pick a best anything from Smallville. Well, aside from Tom. From when he squats and smiles at the Kents for the 1st time to ripping his shirt open in the finale, love every second! One of the best parts of that decade of my life. So, thank you Tom, Michael and everyone involved in giving us the gift that thankfully keeps on giving. Tampa Bay baby!!! ❤😍
These things are getting short. With ads, patron interviews , and patreon shoutouts there is very little Tom and Michael actually discussing the show. That was the hook. Edit: On the episode, this is one of my favorites. Tom's best performance to this point.
This was a fantastic episode! Tom, you did a wonderful job. I can't say enough good things about your performance. 👏❤️ Clark's descent into paranoid delusions from the silver kryptonite was so well done! Major kudos to the makeup artist too - the gradual shift was awesome. ❤ I loved your Patreon guest as well - I could really relate to what he was saying. I'm really looking forward to the Smallville Con. 😊 Thanks guys - I look forward to this Podcast every week!
Tom is a great actor and not just in episodes like this but it's in episodes like this that he can demonstrate it totally. Simply because Clark is a calm, thoughtful character and he has extraordinary self-control but when he is under the influence of Kryptonite you see all the complexity of this hero come out and Tom can bring out all his skills and all his greatness as an actor. You are amazing and great Tom and I admire and I love you so much❤❤❤. Love this episode 'Splinter' so much and you all guys, thank you. ❤❤❤
I never realized how tall Tom was until this weekend when my boy got a pic with him at the Tampa con. They briefly talked about one of his favorite movies, draft day!
I was surprised how much I liked this episode! I especially rewatching it again as I grow older. I look at this episode as a metaphor to a lot of things. I especially loved the ending how Clark and Lex were both humbled. It was such a good way to wrap it up. Love how Tom gave this a 2.5 🌹 There was a lot of good acting in this one! Also another Chloe shout out! Protecting Clark once again. Her character build is so amazing to watch 😌
I work in an Amazon warehouse and maybe one day I'll see Michael's book and scan it 😅 Anyway, I find this episode great, I really enjoyed it! 🌹🌹🌹 In my opinion, the best line of this episode goes to Chloe saying: "I'd die before I'd ever betray you." (To Clark about his secret) ❤️❤️❤️
Loved this episode as we get to see a different side to Clark and Lex, Lana, Chloe and the Kent’s have to deal with his paranoia. Thanks for another great week🤩
I always thought the "silver" kryptonite was actually Brainiac. The splinter that cut and infected Clark was an actual splinter of Brainiac himself. Rescuing Clark at the end was all part of a larger move to make Clark trust him. As Tom suggested, Brainiac intended to use Clark or destroy him ... first move in long a string of chess moves.
The shard removal device was probably based upon (or even THE) device used on Matrix to extract the parasite from Neo, since both are from Warner Bros, maybe it was the same prop?
My favorite moments in this podcast is when Michael is honest about how it felt working with Kristin! Please don't hold back in these future episodes. Lexana is everything to me.
That wreaked truck is in the background of a few episodes i got everyone in my family hooked on Smallville they would put on repeat for months at a time my son is Autistic his favorite is the opening credits as soon as the song starts he'll run in the room watch it all day
Great episode! I like when there's a single strong plotline - as Tom said, it amps up the suspense! (And it's lovely that Ryan is invited to the Smallville con, he's got his own fandom now!)
I love Splinter. Really good episode. Silver kryptonite/ paranoid Clark was something new, and Tom was wonderful. The only thing i didn't like is fact that silver Clark nearly killed Jonathan and Martha(Chloe saved the day), that was too much, in my opinion. Poor Kent's. Maybe just heated argument or something like that ( nothing physical) would be better choice, for that particular scene. I love Lex here, too. He is definitely closer and closer to Lana. And yes, make up was phenomenal.
@misoboskovic Chloe saying “I’d die before I ever betray you,” was so true. Clark couldn’t ask for a better friend or ally. ❤️ Clark and Chloe were the only reasons why I stuck around watching the show.
@@misoboskovic well almost, but not fully keen, just because Chloe’s maturing as right now, to be on Clark’s side all the way has his back🙂↕️ but doesn’t mean she truly washed her hands from her misbehavings and also keeping bad secrets her choice from one friend too another bestie 🤷🏻♂️ also if Allison havent commit into racketeer in 1st place she would have been on the podcast💔😔
Also silver is one bitch of a poisoned kryptonite😂 even tom himself hated that part throwing Martha and nearly choking Jonathan as well, Clark wouldn’t intend to hurt his parents just lost control of what noticed not true and then went violent I mean the writers made got carried away with the kitchen, like Lex threw Lana too the Straw got the horse Spooked wind up wounded🐴 so Clark and Lex now call it even
I think this is one of Tom's best performances. Talking quickly, almost muttering, erratic movements and gestures. Nah, I take that back. This is the best performance by ANYONE pretending to be under the influence of paranoia inducing substances.
13:30 I don't know Kristen, but I'm also sure she doesn't remember! 😂😂😂You were nice to Michael, he deserved to be teased more! He insists on this point very much with Tom. And I still find it almost impossible for anyone to remember a work kiss 20 years later! But you know each other well and I believe you know how to respect each other. The conversations are always very constructive!
I saw you guys at Comic Con in Tampa and Smallville Nights. I encourage anyone who is a fan to go. It was a great experience and you both seem to generally care about your fans, it's not just a show. Thanks for all you do!
Martha running for office. Boy, is there a surprise for you. Being a Superman fan as a kid and knowing who the characters were, like Dr Fine and stuff was fun
I wanted to hear more from Tom on this episode! (Well I always want to hear more from Tom on the pod) Splinter was a GREAT and very different episode for him. Plus he really loved the episode so it's a bummer that he only brieftly talked about a couple scenes. I wish you guys would dish the recap and actually talk about the episodes in depth and organically. The recaps just make you rush through the episodes and we don't get much out of these.
Everybody did a great job on this episode. Tom was captivating. But if you think this was his best, just wait, we still have episodes like Labyrinth and Luthor to look forward to. Can't wait for James Masters to turn up on Talkville! That man is so talented, down to earth, loves his fans and knows exactly how to give amazing interviews ❤

@@oldhollywoodfan8009 I loved that! ❤️ Thank you for mentioning this, they didn't talk about that at all. P.s. I know that in that episode, that lyric wouldn't have registered in Clark's brain, but it was funny and cool considering what we know will eventually happen.
I like the juxta-position between Lex opening up and telling Lana a really big secret vs Clark never fully opening up and telling Lex his secret. I thought it was interesting, how Lex was taking that chance where Clark never did. And I wondered how it would play out, as in did revealing such a huge secret impact the relationship in the end. It isn't as big as Clarks secret, but a big secret nonetheless.
Might be my favorite episode, love this paired with lex's paranoid insanity episode. Really well done by everyone the spiral moment to moment really had you on the edge of your seat.
This was much more of an intense episode of Clark being infected by a form of Kryptonite. This time silver Kryptonite, which made him have paranoid delusions. That Chloe, his parents and Lana werr all turning against him. The way Clark got aggressive with John and Martha in the house, the angry, tossing them around always unnerved me. Hated that this episode forshawed the eventually Lexana relationship between Lex and Lana. But most unnerving is when Clark attacks Lana. How he chokes her in the cellar and the look on his face, until Professor Fine intervenes and reveals himself to be a "Kryptonian" using his powers to restrain Clark and pull the silver shard out of him with the suction device. Brainiac certainly was the True hero this episode.🙏🙏🙏🙏se t
@nickhydier1201 this episode and Labryinth 6x12 were Tom’s amazing acting performances IMO. As a Chloe fan the line when she said “I’d die before I’d ever betray you,” was so true. Clark will definitely need her shoulder and guidance as this season progresses when things fall apart with Lana. Chloe always knows just what to say. ❤️❤️ Clark’s scenes with Lana were incredible. He loves her so much and she him but it does leave the audience wondering will they/wont they.
@@clairemendoza8082 Yes, Chloe certainly had Clark's back even in this one. Liked how she intervined to stop him from attacking Jonathon and Martha. And Yes Chloe certainly did help guide Clark as his relationship with Lana get turbulent.
Clark's dialogue with Fine in the barn - thats exactly what Superman say, think and feel. i got choked up it was so good. a new favorite episode for me. 2 roses. maybe 2.5

But my monthly disability is only enough for rent.. Keep up the great podcast work. Congratulations on the new success.. plus watching your great work.. hugs from Las Vegas...
Also the way Clark ruffed up Lex was also unsettling. Clark got kindaI don't want to say phycotic, but perhaps nuts is a better phrase. The makeup department did a great job making Clark/Tom look so out of sorts with how sweaty and red he was throughout all the intense moments.
I think the reason Fine gave Lana the silver kryptonite in Lex's name but then later extracted it from him was to do two things. First of all he knew Clark would be close to Lana and he knew Lana was close to Lex so he wanted to frame Lex for sending the silver kryptonite because he has plans for Lex and he wants to turn Clark against Lex. Second of all, he extracts the silver kryptonite from Clark because he wants to get Clark to trust him because he needs to use Clark too. So he framed Lex for the crime and took the credit for saving Clark to gain his trust.
I know that silver kryptonite effects his perception but i also think it males him more violent because i don't see clark acting that way towards loved ones even if he was betrayed
Clarks speech at the end ' you dont know anything about this race' was one of my favourite clark speech's. Was an unusual episode but great themes of paranoia, schizophrenia and domestic abuse. 1.3 roses
🌹🌹🌹 Fantastic! would def show this to someone who's never seen Smallville and expect them to be hooked after - which I didn't think we could even use that metric anymore so far into the series but it was great! All the production elements were so tight 👏👏👏 Tom gave a genuine performance filled w intensity and integrity. Really cool story and well done script. Awesome action - another truck bites the dust! Awesome VFX, and edit had perfect pacing. loved the practical FX, almost wish they had pushed it more and really have Clark do some damage. Loved all the little details, and really interesting twisting reality. you can't tell on 1st watch that literally from the second he cuts himself w the Silver-K that almost NOTHING is real! and on re-watch it was even more intriguing. . . the final Lex/Lionel scene was great but damn that was harsh! 😬💔 Lionel's words hurt more than being thrown around in his own house! Again, Clark let's the PERFECT opportunity to tell Lana his secret slip away! 🤦♀️ esp since he declares he won't let fear control him! but that's exactly what he's doing by hiding the truth from her. Although I'm confused as to why she's lying to him. She told him in 1st and 2nd ep about the spaceship already so idk why she's acting like she can't tell him the rest. Love that at this point (on 1st watch) we still don't know what Fine is up to! I'm assuming he's the one to sent the meteor rock to put Clark thru all of that just so he can be the one to save him in order to win Clark's trust. I'll say it again, James Marsters is so freaking awesome! if anyone else played that role it would come out too villainous but he plays it so subtle and w such depth. S5 has been on fire 🔥🔥despite that one awful ep ehem Thirst - lol and of course it was the worst in the series SMH - but I can see why this was Al and Miles favorite season 👏👏
Agree! What a great episode! Yeah, I was never sure why Lana was lying to Clark too. It seems weird since they are dating and there's no good reason for the secret. But maybe I'm forgetting something. Great acting from everyone though, especially Tom!
@@lilacmist04 well it might just be a case of someone not keeping track of continuity, but Lana doesn't make alot of sense for most of the season (arguably for the rest of the series). Like literally the last ep she saw/talked to Lex was ep 3 when he broke into her apartment and was waiting for her at 7am and I can't remember if she slapped him across the face but if she did, he absolutely would have deserved it. And up until now he was lying to her about the space ship and aliens - so her behavior thanking him for the meteor rock at beginning of this ep doesn't track. Esp how in ep 2 (b4 she even knew that Lex put Clark/Lana/the Kents in danger) she didn't wanna look or talk to him. Now, she's back to trusting him and lying to Clark about it! 🤦♀️🤷♀️
@@asyouwish3636 Yes, Lana starts out the season not trusting Lex and is not afraid to let Lex know this. She also is aware that Lex is researching Clark because he believes he's not normal. So why is she willing to work with him? Maybe because he has the ability to look into the spaceship, but still it's weird. Also, I don't why Lana is hiding her research from Clark. Clark tells Lana that he also believes there is life on other planets when she asks, and he doesn't deny or say it's crazy when she tells him about the spaceship. You might be right that there are some continuity issues in the writing. It could be because they wanted Lana and Lex's characters to untie over a common thread away from Clark, and grow closer because of it. It just didn't make sense on Lana's character at this moment, unless the show was trying to portray how Clark and Lana don't work well together because of their trust issues with each other, but I'm not sure.
@lilacmist04 yes. also we are looking at the situation as omnipresent figures. in real life, all these characters have major trauma to overcome - which IRL would take anyone a lifetime. it takes Clark at least 9 yrs of the series to overcome the majority of his, Lex becomes one of the greatest supervillains instead of managing his trauma in a healthy way, and Lana never ends up overcoming most of her trauma until after she leaves the show! so basically, all the crazy behaviors from S5-7 are all manifestations of their unresolved issues.
This was one of my absolute top favorite episodes of the whole show - all the performances were excellent and the storyline was thrilling! Happy to hear you guys enjoying it too!
Very good episode. This is my favorite series. Watched it from the beginning on TV. Met my wife in that year and got her hooked on it. We watch it together to this day.

@@buttonmasherpro1472 💯.
I'm surprised nobody noticed this on the podcast
can't wait to have James on. soon
@@TalkVillePodcastLove James, he brings so much to the show.
Honestly the most hilarious part of the episode. Couldn't stop laughing lol
@@vbrandy7088 James Marshall especially should be invited at some point. The guy became the pillar of the show behind the scenes.
2 Rosenbaums as well I liked the episode alot heart soul twist turns overall! Clark losing his mind over things is clouded his jugement overall !..
Tom’s performance was outstanding in this episode
This is one of my favorite episodes of Smallville. The atmosphere and tone of it all, and Tom's performance are just amazing
For me this episode reminded me of Hitchcock Vertigo. Tom did such a great job in this episode. James as Professor Milton is such a great character. I liked how when Clark was acting paranoid he played along and at the end he didn’t. The scenes between the two John’s was so powerful. The fight scenes at the end were so well done.
great call
Really loved Tom's performance in this one! I thought he did amazing playing a paranoid Clark. This is indeed the beginning of Lexana. Thanks again guys! ❤
welling killed it here
I gotta say, Tom acted his socks off in this episode! Great performance! One of the best episodes of this season, and one of my personal favorites!
🌹🌹🌹
"Splinter"
Another Season 5 classic, one of which Tom Welling really excels, his character going through extreme paranoia, suffering from hallucinations after being exposed to the silver kryptonite, he really put everything into this performance and the directing was stellar.
Oh man Labyrinth is underrated I like that episode too
big one for sure
@@bilalmerhi542 I keep thinking about Labyrinth too!! Definitely a 3 🌹 for me! I can’t wait to talk about that one!
When Chloe said to Clark “I’ll die before I tell your secret “. Hit me hard. Good stuff.
me too
😑💔 only it won’t be just Clark’s keeping his secret but will also from someone else’s, when Chloe keeps from others even from him out of unaware🙂↔️😑 and yet like returns too her desperate high school self in later seasons🤦🏻
The car chase scene was epic and I loved the song choice for that scene, Stereophonic's Superman.
sneaky good, don't hear about this one a lot
That's very sweet of both Tom and Michael to pay for Ryan to be at the Smallville con. Good guys ya'll are ❤
Yes!!! That was great to hear ❤❤
I'm glad people from the show seem to have reamained friends over the years.
Perfect way to gain Clark’s trust, very smart
He also voices Lex in DCUO
Wait, so Professor Fine is Brainiac?😮
@@karlmedina770 Yes.
Can we please talk about how glorious both John’s’ hair was in this episode?
Glover should be disqualified from any hair comments. He has a majestic lion's mane. It's an unfair advantage. 😉
This was definitely a 3 Rose for me!! Tom was excellent!!!! Loved Splinter soooo much!! Kept me on the edge of my seat!!
Cracked Out Clark! Tom's performance was superb in this episode.
Yes!! Splinter is one of my faves!! Tom was brilliant in this!!!
So, Michael is saying that everyone who watches superheroes movies and TV needs to grow up. This is the same guy selling a fart book. Good lord!
These things are getting short. With ads, patron interviews , and patreon shoutouts there is very little Tom and Michael actually discussing the show. That was the hook.
Edit: On the episode, this is one of my favorites. Tom's best performance to this point.
I sadly agree with you but on most episodes they don't have much to discuss because they barely remember anything from that time...
The image of Lex with fangs killed me lolz
🌹🌹🌹for Tom in Splinter! Awesome job @TomWelling!
Splinter is one of my favorite episodes Clark being Paranoid is the best part of the episode in my opinion
lol Michael was dead serious about the talented farter book. I thought he was trolling last episode lol
I knew he was serious both episodes but. Idk how to feel about it 🙃
I never realized how tall Tom was until this weekend when my boy got a pic with him at the Tampa con. They briefly talked about one of his favorite movies, draft day!
This was highly one of my favourite episodes of season 5, but on god smallville is so underrated
This has always been one of my favourite episodes 🔥 this, Labyrinth and Fracture are flawless.
yesss labyrinth is my favorite!! but it never gets any love
I work in an Amazon warehouse and maybe one day I'll see Michael's book and scan it 😅
Anyway, I find this episode great, I really enjoyed it! 🌹🌹🌹
In my opinion, the best line of this episode goes to Chloe saying: "I'd die before I'd ever betray you." (To Clark about his secret) ❤️❤️❤️
I've never hit play so fast. Splinter is top 5
I love how this episode fears is all based on stuff that can legit happens in smallville
Does anyone know how many of those Red trucks were destroyed over the whole 10 Seasons 😂
My brother and I would always laugh every time Lexx gets thrown by Clarke or anyone else. Seeing his golf ball head miss the T was hilarious!! 😂😂
Lmaoo fr 😂
Loved this episode as we get to see a different side to Clark and Lex, Lana, Chloe and the Kent’s have to deal with his paranoia. Thanks for another great week🤩
Roaey still fantasizes about his work with Kristin in S5 and S6 all these years later. 😂
Who wouldn't. 😊
Tom wearing safety glasses and headphones like he's on shift as a forklift driver as soon as this podcast is over 😂
The shard removal device was probably based upon (or even THE) device used on Matrix to extract the parasite from Neo, since both are from Warner Bros, maybe it was the same prop?
The buying a new truck question was the best question ever on this show 😂
I love Splinter.
@@clairemendoza8082Chloe was amazing, little annoying in the beginning, but she matured a lot around S4. I love Chloe. Allison was great.
She was amazing and the reason i kept watching @@clairemendoza8082
This is such a fantastic episode of Smallville!! Love this podcast so much!!! ❤️ Happy Talk Ville Wednesday ❤☄️🌽

It isn't as big as Clarks secret, but a big secret nonetheless.
just when i think my day is hectic, talkville appears to make the day better :D
This was always one of my favorite episodes! This and the following episode are two of the best the show has to offer
Editors was on point this episode
I like Lionels line to Lex
"Those Kent's pack quite a punch don't they"
1:36. Michael "I'm an adult" Rosenbaum. 😂
Might be my favorite episode, love this paired with lex's paranoid insanity episode.
Really well done by everyone the spiral moment to moment really had you on the edge of your seat.
The look on Tom's face at 1:59 says it all.
Clark’s scenes with Lana were incredible.

Also the way Clark ruffed up Lex was also unsettling. Clark got kindaI don't want to say phycotic, but perhaps nuts is a better phrase. The makeup department did a great job making Clark/Tom look so out of sorts with how sweaty and red he was throughout all the intense moments.
I think Michael still has a crush on Lana 😂😂
I wouldn't blame him
Who doesn't...she's beautiful
Kristin you mean, also who wouldnt😂
That's was so gangsta how the guest when asked "who are your top 3 characters?" Looked you dead in the eye and said, not you two. 😂😂
I miss smallville ❤
Y’all really inspire me!! You guys did so good in smallville and I love listening to this podcast ! 💚
@@asyouwish3636 Very true
