Wow, of all of the side hustle, build income stream type videos that I have watched on youtube; and the "How to start x...." etc....This has got to be the best video that I have seen, with real, practical steps of what you have to do to start. I'm literally watching and telling myself, this one actually seems feasible. Ok, I am pretty shook. I just started this business 5 days ago and have pretty much followed your tutorials fully. In the past 5 days, I've gone from 0 to 100 instagram followers (and achieved a reach of 527!!) on my merch page, designed about 5 shirts, and made sale! WHOAAA!!

To anyone who has started in Print On Demand and hasn't received any sales yet, please remember it takes time before that first sale happens. POD isn't a make money quick deal. Of course it will be different for everyone, I didn't make my first sale until 2 months after my first post. Remember, quality designs and a lot of them.

Great video with steps explained so well. I asked ChatGPT(still free, now offering a paid version) to make some lists of copyright and trademark clear phrases. By the second request this is what the ChatGPT said: "As an AI language model, I do not have the capability to conduct trademark searches or provide legal advice. Great question. The storefront name should be something relating to the niche that the storefront is about. It doesn't have to be a registered business or brand name, and it shouldn't be your name. I try to think of something that is catchy, easy to remember, short, and has the niche in it. I hope that helps!

@@MusicMan121 lol... Greg is here to help people. He is a good guy!!! He mentions the tools he recommends for less than three minutes of the video. So, that is not the whole video. In my eyes, he has to talk about a topic 50 percent or more of the video (about 26' 30" since it is a 53 minute video) for that topic to be considered "the whole video". In this video, Greg discusses a variety of things throughout it. He even provides us with a table of contents for ease of use. This content is very helpful, professional and very well done. However, no one here has to follow his advice or recommendations no matter how good it is. We can always do it on our own.

An entrepreneur is not here "to help people", he's offering content that will get views and clicks on the affiliate links, all of which will make him money. Absolutely nothing wrong with that. But you can't say youtubers who upload videos on side hustle and passive income are here just "to help people".
Greg, I've been just soaking up all of your videos. I've been following your advice and in the past week, I've been able to set up all three POD sites and already put out over 20 designs on RB and Teespring. Thank you for the straightforward guidance! The only sales I have so far are to family members, but I've learned from you that patience and persistence is the key. I'll keep pushing along and hopefully start doing some affiliate work soon. I think it's also important to note that "highschool graduate" has a low competition but "high school graduate" is medium competition and high BSR. I think it matters that there is a space between "high" and "school".

Actually I do have a question Greg: If a niche on merch informer is graded A or B with hundreds or even thousands of 'products online' but the 'product BSR' is 0, is this a good niche to enter?

Great question. I've tried all the big design tools and the free version of Canva is pretty hard to beat as far as free tools go. Placeit is the best tool I've used, but their free plan is pretty limited. Personally I'd recommend trying the free plan on Placeit because it's much easier to use than Canva and it will also give you access to mockups which Canva doesn't have. I hope that helps mate!

Day 2 and already got a sale! Started saturday evening, uploaded a design to teespring and redbubble and made a insta account for it. Got a dm monday morning asking about sizing charts and then he bought it. 1 more sale and I will break even with the merch informer and placeit costs. Got lucky I guess, the great tutorial helped! To those who are only able to add 5 shirts on Redbubble, you'll need to complete everything on the dashboard page. Anything that is not crossed out with green font on the list, complete it, and then you'll be able to post more than 5 shirts.

Thanks so much Carlos, and great question! No you do not need an LLC, or any business entity to start Print On-Demand or Affiliate Marketing. Once you reach about $50,000 per year, I would consider looking into an LLC just to keep all of your business earnings and write-offs organized. I hope that helps!
Thanks Greg...Really great video with a lot of valuable information. I recommend anyone who's watch to watch to the end. I was ready to get started within hours after video. If you love designing and art you be set in no time. I was so close to buying a full printing set-up like I had in college. Screen print ,Heat press with attachments, vinyl cutter, printing paper, etc... It probably would have cost me at least 1,200-1,500 to start-up plus the space for storing Tees and equipment. Well, I gonna give this a try and Let see how this works out. Thanks again

Wow, of all of the side hustle, build income stream type videos that I have watched on youtube; and the "How to start x...." etc....This has got to be the best video that I have seen, with real, practical steps of what you have to do to start. I'm literally watching and telling myself, this one actually seems feasible. Ok, I am pretty shook. I just started this business 5 days ago and have pretty much followed your tutorials fully. In the past 5 days, I've gone from 0 to 100 instagram followers (and achieved a reach of 527!!) on my merch page, designed about 5 shirts, and made sale! WHOAAA!!

To anyone who has started in Print On Demand and hasn't received any sales yet, please remember it takes time before that first sale happens. POD isn't a make money quick deal. Of course it will be different for everyone, I didn't make my first sale until 2 months after my first post. Remember, quality designs and a lot of them.

Have one question to ask. As you have said redbubble and teespring doesn't specify image size but i saw in redbubble website not just one size but they have different size optimizations for different products. How do you manage that? It seems really time consuming to do it manually.

Great question. The storefront name should be something relating to the niche that the storefront is about. It doesn't have to be a registered business or brand name, and it shouldn't be your name. I try to think of something that is catchy, easy to remember, short, and has the niche in it. I hope that helps!

@@MusicMan121 lol... Greg is here to help people. He is a good guy!!! He mentions the tools he recommends for less than three minutes of the video. So, that is not the whole video. In my eyes, he has to talk about a topic 50 percent or more of the video (about 26' 30" since it is a 53 minute video) for that topic to be considered "the whole video". In this video, Greg discusses a variety of things throughout it. He even provides us with a table of contents for ease of use. This content is very helpful, professional and very well done. However, no one here has to follow his advice or recommendations no matter how good it is. We can always do it on our own.

I've been following your advice and in the past week, I've been able to set up all three POD sites and already put out over 20 designs on RB and Teespring. Thank you for the straightforward guidance! The only sales I have so far are to family members, but I've learned from you that patience and persistence is the key. I'll keep pushing along and hopefully start doing some affiliate work soon. I think it's also important to note that "highschool graduate" has a low competition but "high school graduate" is medium competition and high BSR. I think it matters that there is a space between "high" and "school".

Actually I do have a question Greg: If a niche on merch informer is graded A or B with hundreds or even thousands of 'products online' but the 'product BSR' is 0, is this a good niche to enter?

Have you ever considered doing a series where you create t-shirts for a specific niche from start to finish (finding the niche, designing, marketing etc.) and then documenting your progress and the number of sales you're getting as time goes on? Great question. I've tried all the big design tools and the free version of Canva is pretty hard to beat as far as free tools go. Placeit is the best tool I've used, but their free plan is pretty limited. Personally I'd recommend trying the free plan on Placeit because it's much easier to use than Canva and it will also give you access to mockups which Canva doesn't have. I hope that helps mate!
Man Man Man! Every minute, yes, I have watched. I took a couple of days to watch and started my Teespring account along with the video only. Greg, I really want to thank you for all this.
Day 2 and already got a sale! Started saturday evening, uploaded a design to teespring and redbubble and made a insta account for it. Got a dm monday morning asking about sizing charts and then he bought it. 1 more sale and I will break even with the merch informer and placeit costs.

Thanks so much Carlos, and great question! No you do not need an LLC, or any business entity to start Print On-Demand or Affiliate Marketing. Once you reach about $50,000 per year, I would consider looking into an LLC just to keep all of your business earnings and write-offs organized. I hope that helps!
Thanks Greg...Really great video with a lot of valuable information. I recommend anyone who's watch to watch to the end. I was ready to get started within hours after video. If you love designing and art you be set in no time. I was so close to buying a full printing set-up like I had in college. Screen print ,Heat press with attachments, vinyl cutter, printing paper, etc... It probably would have cost me at least 1,200-1,500 to start-up plus the space for storing Tees and equipment. Well, I gonna give this a try and Let see how this works out. Thanks again
