I wish he did studies on decomposing in no till farms with high counts of organic matter and life in it. because I wonder if the worms and what not would eat that all up.
Second year no till bed, Gardner here. I've really only left my main crop organic matter in the beds as I've mulched heavy heavy. This year planting peppers I've noticed so many baby worms living in and among the corn root stocks from last year. So they are definitely munching on them
