Mostly because is being used by China to influence their agenda probably others USA social media have their own reasons but this is USA not a communist country
TikTok, like any other form of social media, is a valid means of advertising for businesses both small and large. What do you consider a “real job”? Many people rely on social media to advertise their works, like hand made crafts, or small repair businesses. Where I live, I’ve found most of the business I shop at through social media- my hair stylist, my car repairman, and even my doctor was only chosen because I saw someone recommend her in a Facebook group for my area. And if you’re talking about video content creators… If you can viably sustain yourself and make a living with it… it’s classified as a job. Some people pour 40 hours a week, if not more, into content creation. Not to mention, it’s a similar concept to the very career seen in *this* video- standing behind a camera and getting paid to create visual content.
@@leopardstar_s I can definitely see your point, but being a newscaster is definitely not the same career as an influencer or content creator on social media buzzword apps lol. Very big difference between them. I have no issue with business advertising on apps but pouring 40 hours a week or more into nothing else but content creation is nuts. It's far more responsible to get a normal job that's rooted in reality and engaging with coworkers in a public environment, rather than striving to grow an audience to consume what nonsense the creator decides to put out. People need to learn real skills and things that will help them in the future, because making videos and vlogging your life doesn’t count. The internet won't last forever, especially if an EMP attack were to ever happen. Imagine how unprepared and panicked content creators would be because their entire job and life relies on their electronic devices and internet connection, when they wouldn't have to worry if they had a normal job that doesn't require you to be on your phone 24/7 for it. Hope my comment makes sense, if it doesn't, no worries lol
This is great news! If it dissapear maybe kids and teens will do other things then fish for attention and do more productive things done then swipe on your phones for hours
1:45 incredible 🤦♂️..honestly I didn’t know who Vance was either but d@m lady you should know a thing or two but ok ok you’re just a REPORTER but don’t make it so obvious that you’re just another npc “I’ve learned so much from tik thot…it’s made me a better individual all around” 😂
That's exactly what I'm saying lol, but these tiktok kids don't seem to get it at all. People are treating the ban like it's the end of the world. As if they can't consume content and find recipes anywhere else
Why don't you talk about why tik tok is being banned!!
Mostly because is being used by China to influence their agenda probably others USA social media have their own reasons but this is USA not a communist country

I will believe it when I see it. I can't wait for January 19th to get here.
They said they won’t ban it unless they give TikTok to a new owner
they had a few years, they where hoping that harris would have won
Why she said she devastated by it TikTok is not something that we don’t need in life
@@gil-0085 That's exactly what I pointed out. But instead of thinking about how outrageous that is, people would rather attack me instead lol.
They should bann it period! People making money on this they need to get real jobs‼️
