The movies, while not being faithful, have commendable action numerous times, and they have some fantastic acting. The Lotus Casino scene in the movie was more entertaining and full of action than the one in the show, and overall it felt more pulling. The show, while being faithful to the books, suffers from feeling scripted (duh it is) in the sense that the timeline just falls into place too perfectly, a victim of its pacing. There wasn’t much chemistry between Percy and Sally, and the acting from much of the cast is a little wooden. Also, the movie Gabe is a bit more accurate to the book, imo, than show Gabe - he comes off as a true abuser in the movie compared to the annoying roommate type he appears as in the show. This is not to say the movies are better - they aren’t - but I do not look on the movies as complete abominations, since I see plenty of faults in the show.

Ok.. Ok. I never watched the movies but quite familiar with the whole book and I DON’T REMEMBER anything like this! Cz in the books, percy never got close to the flag (he was just a guard or smth). This girl seems like Annabeth and why is she hurting Percy?? In the books, she came to protect him but percy protected himself and got hurt. He fell into the water (there was no voice guiding him) and he DIDN’T know poseidon was his father nor that water could heal him! Right at this moment, poseidon claimed him with a magical wheel typa thing behind his head and everyone knelt before him. I quite like the fight sequence and they had potential. But everything else is pure mess. They could easily make this scene one of the most majestic scene in cinema history IF they followed the book BUT WTF IS THIS

Am I the only one that noticed they changed the WHOLE scene? First of all, Percy was not supposed to know his father is Poseidon, until he claims him after winning the battle. Secondly, WHY IS ANNABETH AGAINST PERCY?! In the book the cabin of Athena has an alliance with the cabin of Hermes, so the one that should be fighting against him is supposed to be Clarisse... Anyway, as a whole this movie would be a great greek film, if it was called Peter Johnson, and it was not based on the books of Percy Jackson....
Jesus, Daddario is such a babe. IMO she is one of those rare 10/10 uber babes. The loveliness is wow.... everything is a 10 from her hair, eyes, face, assets, poise, beauty, grace etc.
I had already seen the film but I watched it here in the video to take a look and I missed the film, I could have made all the films up to the last book but the author took a while to decide and decided against it and preferred to make that devastating series with ugly actors who don't match nothing with the characters in the book if he decides right away to make a series with the actors from the old film and finish the films of all the books yet

Ok.. Ok. I never watched the movies but quite familiar with the whole book and I DON’T REMEMBER anything like this! Cz in the books, percy never got close to the flag (he was just a guard or smth). This girl seems like Annabeth and why is she hurting Percy?? In the books, she came to protect him but percy protected himself and got hurt. He fell into the water (there was no voice guiding him) and he DIDN’T know poseidon was his father nor that water could heal him! Right at this moment, poseidon claimed him with a magical wheel typa thing behind his head and everyone knelt before him.
I quite like the fight sequence and they had potential. But everything else is pure mess. They could easily make this scene one of the most majestic scene in cinema history IF they followed the book BUT WTF IS THIS
What in books works perfectly May Not Work in a film so they need to adapt and Tell the audiance with No knowledge of the source the essentials

Am I the only one that noticed they changed the WHOLE scene? First of all, Percy was not supposed to know his father is Poseidon, until he claims him after winning the battle. Secondly, WHY IS ANNABETH AGAINST PERCY?! In the book the cabin of Athena has an alliance with the cabin of Hermes, so the one that should be fighting against him is supposed to be Clarisse...
Anyway, as a whole this movie would be a great greek film, if it was called Peter Johnson, and it was not based on the books of Percy Jackson....
Anyways this scene in the movie is so much better than the series, but always the books still the best 🤪

I had already seen the film but I watched it here in the video to take a look and I missed the film, I could have made all the films up to the last book but the author took a while to decide and decided against it and preferred to make that devastating series with ugly actors who don't match nothing with the characters in the book if he decides right away to make a series with the actors from the old film and finish the films of all the books yet
