Growing Radish from bed prep, to planting seeds, and harvest

- We started in early Spring by sowing the seeds directly in ground when soil has been thawed.
Applied one inch layer of compost before planting
Set seeds 1 inch apart, 1/4 inch deep and lightly cover with soil.
Using a makeshift hoop cover, we cover the bed. This protects the seedling from frost
Watering consistently will guarantee bulb formation
When the weather gets too hot, vent out the cover or remove it. You can also switch to netting at this point to keep your plants protected from pests
Radish will be ready to harvest within 30-40 days

I LOVE his videos! The quiet peacefulness of the garden. Birds chirping. Deep in thought. It's when I commune with God and all his glorious blessings. ❤

Thank you my sharing always happy my look garden vegetables is nice good job 👍😊💯
It's all in the preparation. The initial labour makes gardening so much easier and more productive. Spring is a beautiful time.❤
I used to rush through seed starting and trying to get everything planted right away. I agree with you, it's all in the initial labour and preparation. Taking time to grow healthy seedlings and getting the soil prep before planting can really make a difference.
Viry nice congrats always good work 👍😊😊💯👍
Ang sarap sa ulam👍😊😊👍🥰
The widest variety of Radishes that I haven’t ever seen.
You grow so much in a small space! You've inspired us to try to grow more in our small space too. Beautiful garden!

Me too. I got 5 green beans so far😢

It's challenging here in Manitoba kuya. we still get cold temps like 3 this morning 😅
That's a very cold temperature still. You can try using hoop tunnels to protect your plants. The harvest from these videos I planted when the temps are around that range. Cool crops like radish, spinach, lettuce, and most brassicas benefit from cooler weather.
🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍😊
Dude! There is too much for small space, I wish we had drone footage of your yard showing how you spaced it.
When it comes time to replace the wood beds, would you consider the coated metal ones?
I recently installed a metal coated beds in our greenhouse and I would definitely consider making that change when it comes time to replace the wood beds. However, I'll likely end up modifying it to add a wooden structure/cover😅
What variety of radishes were those? Thanks for all the vids
Amethyst which produces larger bulbs and Easter Egg radish. Happy to share our videos💚
Was that bags of Cow Manure that you put on the top of your beds before you pressed it down smooth????
Do you have an irrigation system? How do you water them throughout?
How often do you water? My bulbs never seem to form
Where are you guys located? This is gorgeous!
Thank you so much, we are in Ontario, Canada Zone 5b
