wow i miss those times in 2016 where:
1. cousins and Deandre were still strong and healthy
2. kd wasn't so injury prone as he now is
3. klay was faster and his game was smoother (he could almost be a point guard compared how quick he was)
4. kyrie was acting normal
5. Melo was in decent form and still relevant in the league
6. Pg didn't impregnate a p*rnstar

Is it me or does China play differently? They're all over the place..
Fr they're just chasing the ball when defending bruh.
It almost looks like there's a collapse in some of these sequences. Maybe they're not used to playing basketball a certain way, maybe the effort wasn't there, hard to say, but:
First half at least resembles basketball. 2nd half looks like a team trying to execute on a bunch of haphazard fixes that they're not used to (like moving to zone).
Specific one would be 2:26, 2:33 & 3:13 sequences, pick and roll, Irving's deceleration & acceleration just completely wrecks the big all 3 times. So fast forward to 2nd half @ 4:05, and the Chinese response just looks weird - looks like one guy is trying to ice and the other guy is...not there, so the first guy decides to almost hop into the driving lane, making the pass free. If they double him properly it feels like that pass is at least a bit harder.
Or maybe he just somehow splits them and beats them to the basket anyways, but it looked like they could at least body him up a bit when they forced that.
