@@alexsupra28 Man, I wouldn't be. It's all about going out and having a good time with some friends and seeing the outdoors. I think a lot of people miss that point. Just be careful and go with someone if you can just in case.
I saw someone post you're page in a group on Facebook and when I saw this video, I knew I wanted to hit it since I'm only 10-20 minutes from the trail head. Just need someone to lead who's done it before. But this video is so encouraging. Loved it.

I recently hit this trail in my 2wd 4 runner. Its a fun great trail. There's a lot of traffic here though. Meaning lots of visitors. Any vehicle with good ground clearance i would say over 6 inches should be able to make it. Best if its a mid to small vehicle to pick less dangerous lines and not break anything.
@@tanoktenahua1665 only issue I see is twrds the creek area. its gets kinda narrow. you'll get pinstripe. other than that the trail is pretty easy, no hard obstacle
A real fun road! Heck if our RAV-4 can handle it easily ( 08 V-6 Limited with locking diff but didn't use it) almost any high clearance vehicle should have no problem enjoying this trail. Great for family outings 👍.
@@Michael_Tran I love the Colorado bro. She's my daily driver. I'm going with a simple 2 inch lift for a bit more clearance. Your videos got me to check out Santiago Peak man. Really want a 4x4 off road for snow, and some offroading here and there but nothing crazy, would a 4x2 trd sport, be able to do the kob with some all terrain tires??
Hey man nice truck. I’m just getting into overlanding with the sub I have. Not much but a work in progress (08 Landrover LR2). I’ve seen that Lexus 470 around a few times near my house lol. I actually seen it just today! Over at some dental office in la cañada flint.
Great vid! Are you the pilot of the drone? If so, I should learn a thing or two from you. One thing I really like about your off-road vids is the drone footage. What drone are you using? I need to start using my drone more often.
Thank you. Yes, I usually do all the flying while my wife take over driving lol. I have the Mavic air 1 but considering upgrading to the Mavic air 2. It took me over 3 years to get the flying down. A few crashes and a lot of near misses, but that's the fun in learning a new hobby haha
Great video! I’m actually heading up to idyllwild this weekend for my birthday. Staying at Hicksville pines which isn’t that far from the town. My wife and I have been to that burger shop. It’s great! lol. How many miles is that trail before it ends at the lumber mill? I have a TRD ORP that I want to have some fun with.
Nice! You'll have fun. It's around 12 miles total I think. Yea, that burger was bomb after 5hrs being on the trail. You'll have a lot of fun there. Enjoy!
Very easy on a Kia I’ve seen a Lexus coupe make the drive. Only if your entering from the 94 trailhead. From the 94 it’s roughly 3 miles to get to the shooting area.
Looks like you are not airing down that might have helped on that offshoot. This looks fun i have to try it some time. Im practicing at wild omar to gain experiance
Yea, I think airing down would've help, but the trail is not too complicated to need airing down. Only that hill, but it's not something to air down for.
No, just a few close friends that enjoyed off roading. There's tons of off roading group on Facebook that you can join. They go all the time in the area. Totally understand about doing trail alone, plenty of people that are very cool and knowledgeable in those groups.
Did you make it up that incline or have to go around? Also that food does not look too appetizing lol although I bet it tasted like gold after that day!
I didn't lol, you don't have to do the incline. It's really just a small hill by the trail. Most of the trail are easy and rutted out, other than that it's pretty simple.
You'll love it. I've gotten a lot of compliment on it and the light bar tuck in really nice with the bumper. Honestly it's not hard to install. The hardest part is by far cutting into the truck. Its hard to wrap your mind around cutting into a new vehicle but the bumper is definitely and eye catcher.
Michael Tran yeah i get you, I’ve only had my rig for a couple of months, don’t know how i feel about cutting yet! just recently did a BMC so i guess that’s a step into that direction.
