How can a person get into one of your studies?

I am a 75 years old Vietnam Vet and retired nurse who live to eat as opposed eat to live. My niece who is a strict vegetarian will tell you my dietary practices are off the universal chart
In 2018 I had. Double BiPass surgery for the Widow Maker.
About 2 years ago good friend of mine told me to apply for presumptive service connection for heart disease due to my exposure of Agent Orange while in the fields of Vietnam. So I said: « Why not i have nothing to loose. » And so I did and to my surprise my VA examiner granted me 10 percent service Connections
Most recently over the past 6 months or so have been having some significant shortness of breath upon walking with increased tiredness all the time with tingling and numbness throughout my hands; arms and feet. I wake up every morning feeling like I am 85 years old; but recover back to age 75 even playing golf after a couple of hours awake.
And so because I am considered morbidly obèse and have been a borderline diabetic for several years now I went to my assigned yearly VA doctor to report all this to her.
She was great reviewing all the meds I take from my cardiologist and told me my recent A1C was 6.1 but nevertheless ordered an MRI to R/O spinal stenosis.
Then out of the clear blue sky I ask her if she would do a MGUS test on me since I was stationed also at Camp Lejeune and drank and bathed in the contaminated waters there for over a month
She said that I looked fine; but no problem.
Well BINGO my numbers came up! And so now I am preparing myself for all the other test I need to take to see if I have Multiple Myeloma.
I am 99 percent certain that i do as I went to my civilian doctor and suddenly discovered my H and H suggest anemia and my BUN is 33 and Creatinine is 1.49.
As you know these number are off the charts; probably caused by those useless antibodies IgG or possibly IgM clogging up my kidneys
I am thinking I most likely will not accept any treatment for Multiple Myeloma as I understand the treatment can lead immediately to death and be just as bad as the disease itself.
And at 75 i am not afraid of death; but terrified of the possible side effects along with sudden death
However after watching and listening carefully to Dr Shah I would like to know If i might be good candidate to enroll in one of her dietary studies and supplements studies in how people are dealing with the end stage of Multiple Myeloma.
Currently I am taking 500mg Quercetin BID as I have read reports from China that it kills Myeloma cells. I also take a complete multiple vitamin complex called Macular Protect that my wife’s eye doctor ordered for her; but can be bought without a prescription as it had every antioxidants already built in its formulation
In addition I am taking Vitamins D3 7500IU a day to block IL6 which is the main pathway that Myeloma takes to creates inflammation to the bones and other organs. In addition to other supplements i read may help me I am also taking Pepcid 20mg a day to block H2 receptors. It is not that I just started taking these supplements; I have been taking them to block the inflammation effects from COVID19 which it did as both my wife and I had the disease and vaccines for COVID with zero side effects.
My hope in taking all these supplements is to help to extend my quality of life without subjecting my body to the temporary shutting down of my immune system that currently treatment requires.
Thanks for reading and If you would like I will keep you informed over my progress or lack thereof. 😮
Cheers and know that I believe everyday is a Miracle. Love Kodi Lee Song called Miracle.

Hi Thomas, please email me (jenny@healthtree.org). If you have multiple myeloma you should absolutely get normal treatment because a supplement will not have the power to eliminate it. With treatment you could enjoy life with your wife into your 90s. It is definitely worth the effort. Without treatment you will endure an exceptionally excruciating death with bone fractures and kidney failure, so the alternative to no treatment is not ideal. We have many resources to help so please reach out.

Those weren’t plant based diets! They were reduced meat, poultry and dairy diets. Look at the data. The column listed as plant based diet still has a lot of non plant based foods being eaten!

Chris, we believe that if it helps in precursor conditions it could also help to extend remissions.

Studies are being done right now to investigate this. It's a great question!
