OK, i clicked on this video thinking it was an Adam video, i follow you both, and do consider myself a newly converted (3yrs ago) puppet nerd at 54 yrs old, even though i spent 40 years building robots.

your work is such an inspiration, a few months ago i started getting into puppetry, the only problem is didn't now how to make one. but after i saw your videos, i never gave up. i try and try again, thanks adam
With the proper acting training, you can animate literally anything. Check out "Hugo & Ines". They make puppets using their hands, a shirt, and their own knee.
Of course, I don't want to discourage you from puppet making, I love the stuff, but you can probably experiment with a lot of things you maybe haven't ever considered while you learn the craft.

You really nailed a Frith-inspired design that suits Fraggles etc. Frith's style is half Seuss, half Muppet.

Sometimes I like to use a glow in the dark marker that shows up under blacklight to trace my patterns, it’s pretty fun
I really like these pattern combination videos! It really allows for more creativity and diversity of puppet characters! It also give me some ideas about what characters I can create!

Question (in a nice way)....... why would you want to use permanent marker in the mouth? I've seen it bleed when wet. What if it somehow gets moist/wet?

This is SO COOL! I want to thank you for not using bird feathers in this puppet. As a vegan, seeing bird feathers is depressing. I think by avoiding feathers in puppets, it's considerate of people that are sensitive to the suffering of our feathered friends. Puppets do not need to be associated with violence of any kind. Anyways- thanks and you're awesome!
