the footage is very dark on the S23 ULTRA... I have the same difficulty with mine... can we improve it? What's the best video editor for this? I use DaVinci, Capcut... would Premiere or After be better to correct this light?

You can up the color range. I usually bring up the middle color. Have you tried that?
