JJ barea was like 5'8", Dame is 6'3", there are so many average size 6 footers. It's about that drive. Look at Jaden Williams, she got so big weight wise.

I wish a lot of these guys could see the value of staying in Division-I NCAA longer instead of opting to enter the draft early. They have such a good opportunity to develop in college and round out their game. But alas, the money is too much to ignore!
Actual college isn’t for every kid, especially if basketball plan A through Z … bank the cash and pay for school or a business , when basketball isn’t plan A anymore … University classes just get in the way for kids at this level; their bodies are way ahead of their minds.
In my opinion, Going in a European Club is the best choice. Here in Europe, discipline is the first thing you learn. You play something different than what your coach has called, you are benched. You raised your voice on the coach, you are out for some games. You also learn how to dribble properly without carrying, always pass first, always follow your captains calls. Playing against grown men is also a big advantage because you get mentally ready.

Maybe tennis gymnastics or figure skating benefit from the single sport approach - team sports ehhh not so much. Bottom line,Most people can’t maximize talent and/or athletic ceiling by simply playing a single sport. Not sure what you’re talking about.

Most D1 football coaches like athletes who play 2-3 sports other than football. You can only get so good at s sport by just playing it (playing is very important of course ). But stuff you do around in like strength training speed strength power whatever you want to call it. Along with that playing multiple sports helps to prevent burnout and prevent someone from hitting their peak. The goal is to peak when someone is 25 or so as opposed to 14. The main issue is giving up due to losing interest

Update on Isaiah Washington, unfortunately Skylines aren't too happy with his game. He lacks the knowledge to run a system but is a great one on one player. Also Skylines have dropped from BBL which is the highest league in Germany and will be playing in Pro A next year.
I think a lot of these guys get burned by the one and done. Everyone sees your mixtapes and tell you how great you are when you really needed more seasoning to be successful in the NBA.

There are small differences that make a huge impact, but then there's also an elite level of skill and IQ that allows people like Chris Paul and Derek Fisher to play many years. At the same time though, a lot of these guys are super athletic and making the adjustment to "knowing your role" can be difficult for former stars.
Wild you can be ranked/drafted higher than dudes that are present all stars in the league and just don’t have the stars line up to make it happen. They all have the talent; just have to get that chance as well.

Goes to show you that not getting injured is more important than playing insanely well. Just be a consistent mediocre player and never get injured, and you'll have a better shot at a long career. I think a lot of these people just over train, that is why they are injured constantly.
They train wrong, especially with kids, they do all this physical activity than go home and eat junk food which is why they get injured none of them eat properly to keep their body from breaking down.
That didn't ruin his chances, him not being good enough did. He's got more shots and goofy people talking about him despite never showing signs of being good enough for the league.
