Last weekend's March Madness playoff game between Illinois and UConn was a monstrous blow-out as UConn pulled away from the pitiably outclassed Illinois team. As the going got tougher the UConn team members began joking and laughing and pointing the single finger "We'er #1" all the way down the court. At that time the Huskies wasn't allowing a single basket after scoring 40 unanswered points and was coasting and happily bellowing. I've watched sports contests nearly all my 87 years - from High School to Professional - but, thankfully, never had to witness the flagrant, derisive enjoyment that was on display March 31st until UCONN and Illinois finally put their bench teams on the floor, (Only then the Illini were able to put a few points on the board!)
