Chapters:
"I'm going to concentrate on the AMG Sandstorm"... instantly gets sidetracked 🤣
I'm not complaining though, I love the little welding zamboni 👍
Hahaha that's how it goes. Especially when recording is split between a few days and a massive update comes out in the middle!
Steam Wand.
It's magic, it steams, and it makes coffee. You just need to put the coffee machine block onto the side of it!
Petition for AMG sandstorm to be used to take on the Airtraffic or Dangerous Encounters
Can we please get your fighter and steamroller on the workshop? BTW how about "Loca Mocha" for the name of the steamroller.
Thats actually hype
Loved every part of this series so far! Would be cool to see something like auto LCD 2 or something to show different resources currently available on base or on the AMG. Maybe could do something like that for a screen in the bridge on the AMG for fuel levels Can't wait for more!
Call it the Coffee Roaster, those are usually big roller drums and the vehicle takes raw parts and makes stuff
Oooo I like it
That's pretty good!
The welder car could be called The Espresso Electrode (coffee and welding theme).
To take it 1 step further, the Espresso Electrode Wagon (or EEW for short).
Those poor, poor neglected Solar Towers, they so DESPERATELY wish to contribute their maximum capacity to the base power grid.
Fixing them is what I want to see in the next episode. 😁
I think it's safe to assume that word got back to the Reaver Hive that your base is protected by a couple of Reavertariums, so now they'll instead try their luck with your outpost facilities.
Using items from the Signal Update, you could build a ramp out of the pit at the current end of the tunnel, and via Action Relay, as you approach, press a button that would open up part of the ramp to access more tunnel, like a trap door (swing down) or cellar access door(swing up), that then continues underground towards the PAM/SPAM base.
The new Inset Connectors might work to connect the next tunnel section at an odd angle down and still keep it powered so it doesn't get removed, while also providing you a flat surface to drive over without issue.
An assortment of progress made, not just a single project. 👍
Thank you for the suggestions! We'll give the solar panels a quick pass in the next episode :) The ramp thing might be a little too much for now, but if we go for a full tunnel, that's a great idea!
Leave the tunnel as is, just run lights, flatten off the exit point and make a car or something to run over the surface. I am hollowing out a roid... you have definitely inspired me to play SE again. Your awesome and I am tired. Have a great day Andrew, I'm off for a snooze, just need to finish up a few things.....
Enjoy the snooze!
"The gun on the front of an aircraft carrier..." the phrase you're looking for is "Phalanx Close in Weapons System" or CIWS (See Wiz) or as the Army calls it, C-RAM (See Ram).
The steamroller could be called the French Press to keep it coffee related.
I love the welder-rover. but imagine a very long tunnel-digger all in one v3ehiccle. witch can mines a hole, behind those miners are welders with pojectors, projecting a plane street downwards and welding it. so u can just dig into a mountain and build a tunnel at once, :D
Wowww that would be very cool! I bet it wouldnt be too difficult to do either. Very neat idea!
If we are keeping with the coffee theme, something latte would be fitting for the steam roller.
9:45 a tough shot to make can still happen eventually if the enemy throws enough cannon shots at it. :D
I say this as someone who earlier this evening just had the Factorum warship turn my 7000 PCU all-heavy armor fighting ship plus two escort gun drones into exploded swiss cheese. ^^;
3 save scum tests later, I had to concede that my whole design approach was wrong, and now it's back to the shipyard and drawing board.
Lol that's how it goes! Most of my small grid fighters turn into swiss cheese too. The Re-Caffinator is the first one that doesn't, so the guess and check method has worked pretty well!
For the big Welding Car I thought "Coffee grinder" or "Coffee grinder" because it is big and heavy
Please create a download of the welder rover.
Oh Man i am so happy to watch a new video of my fav creator after getting both my hands boiled after spilling it all over my hands
Soup
Not coffee?
Nope some soup spilled on my hands still hurts
Ouch, I hope it's not too bad!
@@AndrewmanGaming feels better now but it looks purple
that tunnel welder is awesome does such a great job you could change the welders for drills and finish the tunnel all way thru also i think you need some light in roof of tunnel a name maybe tunneloni
Good idea on the drills!!
Average video at this point “I’m going to work on the AMG sandstorm today” 16 percent chance of working on the sandstorm, otherwise, gets distracted by side project or reaver that starts a side project
Still really enjoying this though, also, sense the series is a coffee theme mabey name the AMG sandstorm to the AMG cold brew
Andrew, if you look in G toolbar under the Wasteland DLC Blocks the window Viewports 1 and 2 would be perfect since they are half block windows and you could put them back to back to make that weakpoint much stronger.
Suggest putting a camera between the welders.
The AMG Sandstorm gets forgotten again.
Lol it will get completed! Eventually...
31:11 all reavers have armed warheads on or in them which act a bit like 'weakspots'
you should install the new floodlights on the ice mine pit
Oooo good idea!
It’s the ‘steam bean’.
Wohooo defensive block! Sorry for the backseat gaming, did you increase the turrets range? 😅
Can you increase them further after placing the defensive block?! I'll have to check on that :)
Is it possible to have an elevator. Like of to the side as you are going down for larger ships to dock in the hanger?
could you put a thruster pointing up vertically up on a 'station' dress it up as a chimney / smoke stack and use it to burn off excess hydrogen?
Andrew did you see that your solar towers got damaged by the Butcher?
Oh did they get damaged some more in this episode? Man, those poor things take too much heat. Maybe next episode we'll start with a quick solar tower fix-up
The coffee press? :)
Ay that's pretty good!
Next ship name should be the Al mochaccino..just saying.
I think this new car should be called the Espresso Foamier.
39:00 why did you not use the new small grid cargo container?
I didn't think of it, but probably it wouldnt be the best use of it anyway since the welder needs large conveyor connections everywhere. I'll try to use it in my next build!
YOu have not touched your buggy for a very log time... it's just sitting there burning
It has been burning for a very very long time lol, it's probably due for a fix up.
I was wondering if you were going to have time to release a survival episode this week with the new contact episodes you already did this week.
It was a bit of a grind but we got there!
You don’t have any stone because you are on a ice planet
Since you'll be using it to weld the underside of the Sandstorm, Belly-scratcher might work.
You know, I actually hadn't even considered using it on the sandstorm but now that you mention it, that would be a perfect use!
You should call the weld car the "Frappuccino" since it's an iced coffee.
What script makes the welder pistons move?
If you're talking about the hinges that move the welders in position, that's base game now! It's the new "Set Angle" option that allows you to set the angle of a hinge from a timer block.
Oh sorry you're probably talking about the weld arms in the welder pit. Those are also vanilla SE with no script. There is a sensor on each piston that detects small grid ships and if it detects one, it pulls the piston back. If not, it pushes the piston forward. I'll show it off a little at the start of next episode for you!
@@AndrewmanGaming thank you! Never knew you could do that.
don't latte's get steamed milk? so why not the Latte
And shouldnt you rename the sandstorm? Its not in the desert anymore. Maybe call it the AMG Blizzard?
It's gonna become the Snowstorm but I'm waiting until I repaint the whole thing to give it the new name. For now it's still the old Sandstorm!
I guess you could call it spilled coffee, since it was all over the floor.
Hahahaha
If you do the tunnel in the next episode, and the title and intro is not "Secret tunnel", you lose all credibility as an adult
