Love you guys your a traditional close British family. Love your videos they are honest and so entertaining and interesting forgot to mention funny. You both have hearts of gold. X
They both look fab, you can get Tatty Scones in the Bread Aisle of Tesco and you can fry them in a little butter or as you did in oil or you can also toast them in the toaster or air fryer! Honestly just keep doing what you're doing, you're doing a FAB JOB, people that criticise, obviously lead very shallow lives! I found you only a couple of weeks ago and it's really nice to have a lovely down to earth family to watch and try recipes with! KEEP IT UP GUYS YOU'RE VERY APPRECIATED!XX💕
Been in Cheshire for 15 years, watching your video, has me hankering for tattie scones, & a slice. Never did mealy pud (white) we had fruit pudding instead. Ps I always fried my fruit pudding with the skin on to hold it together while cooking. Missing Scottish grub!!
As a glasgow girl I love a potato scone with a square suasage on a crispy roll with lurpak and tomato sauce. We have recently had a bit of a an upheaval with one of the big bakers of our "crispy" rolls.
Aye, my Mrs works in a shop. She was moaning because everyone was complaining about the McGees rolls that replaced them until Mortons sorted things out 😂😂 Cannie beat a Crispy roll and square and scone, HP sauce for me though.
Depends what part of Scotland you come from we don't do white pudding much in the West of Scotland it's usually fruit pudding! Completely diffrent but fantastic! Not square sausage we call it Slice😊
Just a word on White Pudding. You are more likely to see it in East of Scotland than the West and it is also popular ingredient in an Irish breakfast. I love white pudding being from Dundee but they just don't do it in breakfasts in Glasgow where I live now.
Irish and Scottish tattie scones or farls/bread as we call them, and white and black pudding are different tastes. I prefer Scottish black pudding (Stornoway). Don't like either white puddings, but you can't beat proper Ulster Taytie bread. And Veg Roll on an Ulster Fry is delicious.
Both look great. In Ireland white pudding is a given and grilled fresh tomatoes. I know Martin you like your tinned tomatoes….could never eat them on a breakfast. Lorne sausage is lovely.
Everything looked lovely with them both except the white pudding we would have done it in the air frier. Tina says you need to try the local white pudding where I come from. She didn't used to eat blackpudding or haggis until she tried the stuff I get local. I love the way you both say Tattie Scone. Maybe Tina will do a video of the V8 breakfast up here in Inverness
Glad you got home safe from my neck of the woods. We normally have mealie pudding (white pudding) with mince and tatties, only give it a minute in micro, then test if it’s hot in middle, if not, only another 10 seconds would be enough. Hubby will only eat beef sausages (links) won’t touch pork sausages, that’s why we don’t go out for a breakfast 😆 I need to look for those tinned cherry tomatoes next time I’m in Elgin Tesco 😊
Pretty close to a full Scottish, needs clootie dumpling, fried bread, buttered toast too. I've never done fried bread in olive oil and never used an air fryer, always done in a frying pan. The white pudding is normally on an Irish breakfast and when I do have it, it's always fried, never in a microwave... but really good effort. oh, and it needs brown sauce. Take care from the hairy Scotsman
These both look fantastic! I doubt I could manage to clear either plate as there is so much to eat but I would have a good go at it ! Thanks again both for another fun video, keep 'em coming! Cheers !😁👍
How about combining the best of both - The Anglo-Scottish Breakfast - a lot of the ingredients are in both - just add the Lorne sausage, the haggis, the tattie scone and the white pudding to the English one! Eat it on either the day of the English and Scottish FA Cup Finals or the finals of the Anglo-Scottish Cup!
Irwin's potato farls in Morrisons or Potato cakes in Ocado, yes fried in oil or butter. I always cook my tomatoes and beans together, sometimes with a sprinkle of Italian herbs or Maggie's seasoning. I've yet to try white pudding I think.
Hi Martin & Sharon both breakfasts look fantastic. Im scottish but i hate white pudding 🤮 we never have haggis on our breakfasts well in this house anyway. We love tattie scones and square slice xx
I've had both Scottish & Irish white pudding & I much prefer the Irish white pudding. The Scottish one is full of oats but the Irish one is smooth & has a lovely flavour. Haggis also tastes different in different parts of Scotland too. When I was little my dad used to bring white pudding & liver sausage (which I loved) home from Ireland. I can get white pudding but I've not seen liver sausage where I live. I'm going to have a look on the internet after I've watched this. I need some in my life now😋😂
Well done with the breakfasts, it’s trial and error but you can fry white pudding. One of my favourite smacks is two well fired rolls with lorne sausages and chopped tomatoes and then washed down with red kola yum yum.
Another great video have to wait for another day before we can try. nice breakfast too have not tried white pudding like that before. Think it might be a trip to M&S for some ingredients. 👍
This is the only channel I like before watching !only thing I want to see is Sharon's decorating we all love a good diy show. other than that an everyday vlog would be great like a reality tv show I watch you more than I watch tv 😂😂
Omg they both looked delish . It’s nice to see that you both appreciate food. I love food lol. You are so easy to watch. I love how you two react with each other and Martin is always so loving to you Sharon. Thanks for sharing love your videos.
In Northern Ireland Tattie Scones are called Potato Bread and we dont have tinned tomatoes with a fry its usually a tomato cut in half and fried in the pan.
I’m Irish we have the same tatie but we call it potato bread but just love them you two are very special people love watching you both and you both nailed breakfast ❤
As a scotsman,I love both an English and Scottish breakfast. Both are superb. The only thing which I think would sway to Scottish is our black pudding. Delicious, great video guys.
Absolutely brilliant , I haven’t laughed that much in a while. You are such a lovely family Tracy has a brilliant sense of humour just like you both. Love the takeaway our way . Look forward to the next one . Thank you.👏👏👏💫💫🤩🤩🙏🏼🙏🏼👌👌🤪🤪😘😘
My Ninja Foodi doesn't have a crisp button, humm, I would really like that. I've never heard of some of the meat you cooked. You said it's a English breakfast, do you mean England or US? I'll have to check out some of the meat you cooked. Also, we never have the beans with our meals. Is that just plain old pork and beans?
so glad your highlighting Haggis, americans have no idea what they are missing. Glad you had a great holiday up here and agree with robert on the fruit pudding
I like my fried bread in the air fryer. I butter both sides pop on my turn halfway through its lovely re butter when you turn. Not true fried bread but really tasty.
My Son and his wife have got an Air fryer and they can make yogurt in theirs. Talk about the appliance of science lol.😂😅. Always enjoy watching your cooking episodes especially the healthier alternatives. And now Scottish vs English. Always great to see you both. ❤❤
I'm sure you can get most of that over there now, haggis was banned, but I know ex-pats are making it and black pudding, etc, in some place in florida. Seen it on another video.
I prefer white pudding fry, my lovely Scottish grandmother always fried it, but as you say everyone to their on taste. Any great video my partner love when Martin does the sexy look when eating it cracks her up. regards Andy
Hi Sharon,Martin your making me very hungry just now, and we do like our hash browns with our breakfast too and as you say everyone has there own version for breakfasts, but another good video 👍
Scottish breakfast all the way, tatty scones need to be cooked in more oil to get them crispy, a dry pan will only burn them. Just treat the white pudding the same way as you cook the black pudding. Brilliant video thank you for sharing. 👍❤️❤️
Hi Sharon n Martin thanks for sharing both breakfast looked nice . I think I would stick to English breakfast. Glad you enjoyed your holiday it was so nice to see to see you enjoying it . X takecare x
Hi Sharon & Martin both your breakfasts look delicious 😋 i dont know what Haggis is, never tasted it love black pudding though. I would only be able to manage eating a very small breakfast. But they Both look similar and cooked well. Looking forward to watching another new video.😊❤
Hi guys, finally subscribed after binge watching the majority of your videos. Did the air fryer garlic bread, we are addicted. Donna & Dean and Indie the Dog 😊
Its normal to pan fry tattie scones, however I usually just chuck mine in the air fryer beneath a sausage or black pudding and let them cook away in the fatty goodness. Theyre relatively easy to make from scratch - mainly mashed potato and flour is called for, maybe Sharon could give it a bash some day.
Cloudy bean sauce. That’s how it’s meant to be, if you’ve not cooked your baked beans long enough for it to go cloudy they are basically raw 💪🏻 You two are adorable too!
We call wm potato cakes , up north, and when i cook white pudding i slice it in to rings like black pudding and fey them or grill them, so should be good ro cook in air fryer.
They both looked good, i could eat one now. I do my fried bread the same as you Martin, it's a lot healthier. I've never seen those tinned tomatoes before, I'll have to look out for them
Thanks Diana, i will look for them. When I buy small fresh tomatoes i always buy them on the vine as they have a lot more taste. I love the smell of them when you first open them up
@@SandraDent-lf4xy Well done Sandra - I'm sure you will find a difference. More flavour and less watery. I even use them in bolognaise sauce etc. - whenever tinned whole tomatoes are needed I do opt for the little ones. You could become hooked - enjoy!
The full Scottish but with out the haggis tatty scones are potato cakes you can buy lorne sausage in heron and Iceland I love lorne sausage and potato cakes so easy to are with mash potatoes flour and roll out and cook them love fran xx

Love you guys your a traditional close British family. Love your videos they are honest and so entertaining and interesting forgot to mention funny. You both have hearts of gold. X
😊 thank you
What I love about them is that they are both old school...The sense of humour that I grew up with
That's a proper Scottish breakfast. A wee slice of fruit pudding would have been the cherry on top but you nailed it :)
Thank you so much 😁
Aye, didn't remember the dumpling' until after I'd posted. Well spotted.

Me too. I love the Morton's rolls. But the wee shop stopped getting them in. Can't get them anymore in West Lothian 😡
Aye, my Mrs works in a shop. She was moaning because everyone was complaining about the McGees rolls that replaced them until Mortons sorted things out 😂😂 Cannie beat a Crispy roll and square and scone, HP sauce for me though.

I like to butter my bread on both sides and then fry it. It’s brill.
You make me smile with your enthusiasm for your food and appliances. A pair of gut-buster meals today😅. English or Scottish I’d devour either 😋

Hope you are both well and your videos are unmissable, and Sharon is the best chef ever,
I'm pretty sure we don't have all of the ingredients available to make that in the United States, but it looks good.
I'm sure you can get most of that over there now, haggis was banned, but I know ex-pats are making it and black pudding, etc, in some place in florida. Seen it on another video.

10 minutes on Max Crisp in the Ninja.

They are great Sandra.
They're alongside the peeled plum tomatoes in tins, more expensive but I've used them for years now as the flavour is more intense. Give them a try!
Thanks Diana, i will look for them. When I buy small fresh tomatoes i always buy them on the vine as they have a lot more taste. I love the smell of them when you first open them up

My brother in law loves black pudding we have family in Bury the home of Black pudding.
I can't comment on it as I haven't tried it nor haggis
In the interests of Anglo-Scottish relations, you have my Scottish permission to add some of your fancy ingredients to the Scottish breakfast. You can mix and match some or all of the ingredients to customise your breakfasts. Can I also suggest another two additions that will enhance your experience? Try some bread, grilled on both sides until brown, spread with butter. And finally, a good strong cup of tea. I guarantee you will find that this is the best cup of tea of the week.
Yummy too both breakfasts ❤
I live in USA, not sure about black pudding ! I would like to try it! Both breakfasts look great!
