Couple things you can check. If you pull your spark plug you can tell if it’s running lean (no residue on plug) or if it’s running rich the plug will be black and sooty and adjust. The air filter could also effect your air mixture if you’re running an aftermarket filter or it’s dirty. Hope you can get it running good!
I recently acquired an older 2009 650 H1 TRV from my brother n law, he loved to mud ride so as you can imagine this thing is wrecked, I had to install a new carb, and flush the case out as it was filled with trash 🙄. What the fuck is going on?
I assume it is running rich and not getting enough air, but no matter how much I try to adjust the screws it doesn’t help.
Mine just needs a little gas for the beginning when it starts but it just wont pass smog :,)
Fuel pressure?
Get a better fuel!
Try starter spray in the intake and if it runs cleaner, drain your tank and get better fuel or put in some additives
Clean fuel is important!
Then I went from 75 mph top speed 290 mph to where I can keep up with a 450 TRX within two bike and I am running standard size not a 406 or 416 or 426 it's still 400 cc
Wtf did I just read

Was hoping this was my issue, pulled it off and nope 😂🥱🤦♂️
😂 Oh no...
Hi, i have a Yamaha raptor 350 and it backfires and dies often when I’ve been using it for half an hour more or less. Any suggestions? Thanks
Sounds like something is off with the air/fuel mixture. Could be the fuel pump not giving enough pressure or the carb is not adjusted properly or has some sort in it. It might run okay when it’s cold but when it gets warm it will cause it to act up.
@ I sent the carburetor away to be cleaned, as whenever I would try to start it with the choke it was a pain in the you know what. Perhaps since then could something not be right?
