Have you tried Garcia's other design, Arborea? In my opinion it's clearly his best game and this was such a let down for me, considering I also enjoyed Barcelona. The water level thing felt so disconnected it simply ruined this game for me. The action selection and upgrading the wheel was however fantastic and I hope it gets used elsewhere.
I have tried Arborea, I didn’t like it as much as the other two games, but it was a while ago and so maybe a refresher would change my perspective. Thanks for your perspective!
