Alan thank you so much for doing these. Guiding Light was my absolute favorite show ever. I started watching it in the sixth grade. I love the Bordeaux family. Thanks I still miss this show. You are awesome.
I got hooked on GL back in 1981, when I would come home from school and my sister would be watching it. I tell you, it is addicting. All the crazy story lines, the drama, the action, the hook ups, the break-ups, the lies, the deaths, the resurrection, the love stories etc. Oh how I miss my GUIDING LIGHT. I was a true fan for 28 years. Watching those old footage on RUclips made my day. It brought back so many memories, I enjoyed it very much. My Guiding Light favorite Character was Reva Shayne Lewis, played by the fabulous Kim Zimmer. Also, Nola Reardon was a hoot. Love stories like Kelly&Morgan and Beth&Phillip was enticing. Also Jonathan Randal, Reva's youngest son played by Tom Pelphrey- boy he did such a great convincing job portraying that character,
Thanks, this was great. Glad to see everyone is doing well. When mentioning the African American actors who started on Guiding Light Taye Diggs was left out. I think he may have been on near the time Sharon Leal was on.
Great interview. Other then Mel and Remy, we never really got to know these characters. Unfortunately, they came on late in the show. Can we see the Grant family. (Gilly, Vivian,Charles, and David)
Craig Silver Amelia Marshall just recently did an interview on The Chat podcast, and she talked at great length about “Guiding Light.” It was a great interview!!
Love my GL reunions Alan. This one was great glad to see and find out what the actors were and are upto. Can't wait until next week. Once more from the still smiling Mattessa Fan, Thank You So Very Much For Doing This Each Week.🙂❤
Hey Alan! Just wanted to THANK YOU for doing all of the reunions lately- amazing to watch and you're also keeping us sane during isolation! Can I please make a request? It would be AWESOME to have some NBC Soaps featured. A Sunset Beach TV reunion🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 and even a Santa Barbara reunion would be PRECISE! As you know these two shows were worldwide hits! Thanks for your consideration and congrats on your success and hard work on making these reunion specials to date. Thanks mate and stay safe! Best Wishes,
Thanks, I really had a good talk with them and definitely enjoyed it! Fun Fact: Peter Francis James also played Rosa Parks's husband on The Rosa Parks Story
It's a shame that they did nothing with this talented group of actors. Not surprising, due to soaps' history of underusing non-white actors and storylines, but shameful!
This made my day!! Wonderful people and conversation.
So glad you enjoyed it.
Another great interview, what about Gavin Houston from Tyler Perry's The Haves and The Have Nots who did a short stint ad Remy Boudreau also..
Have watched all The Locher Room reunions so far and this one was my favorite. These actors are so humble. I loved it.
Glad to hear that, Alvin!

PJ Moneybags That’s correct. Taye Diggs’ character, Sugar Hill, was involved in storyline with Sharon Leal’s character, Dahlia.
You are absolutely right. I'm so sorry I left his name off. He was so great on the show and was there too short of a time.
Love this!!! I will love to see Reva and all her kids.
Great interview. Other then Mel and Remy, we never really got to know these characters. Unfortunately, they came on late in the show. Can we see the Grant family. (Gilly, Vivian,Charles, and David)
Craig Silver If Alan were able to get Amelia Marshall and Petronia Paley I would be over the moon!!!!

I don’t believe that Guiding light was 75 years old before it. Went off the air

many of us would like a reunion with the daytime soap opera " Santa Barbara " . please make it happen !
Also Days- Bo and Hope (Kristian Alfonso/Peter Reckell)

Lawrence and Karla def need more air time on B&B! Maybe a love triangle with Steffy?
