    man I remember seeing this video like four hitches into my rigging career and it cracked me up so much, I didn't have a clue what a top drive was so I had to show this to old dad and the boys at the rig ahah

    Doing derrick is fun but be careful with your wide bream hard hat as it can cause injury on anyone from 90', put the strap on.

    No offense but when the top drives came on the Derek hands went away. I guess it’s good because you can put any worm up there now. Used to be maybe one out of 20 could be a Derrick hand it was hard to find a good Derek man few and far between and these days even run eight man crews or more and this guy doesn’t have any respect probably knows it all he thinks couldn’t teach him anything of course these days they don’t have to know anything they will call mechanic to fix every little thing too bad
    he used to be a good profession now it’s shit
