Alright, Since The description is kinda part of the Video I'mm just drop my thoughts off here :) For context, this idea sort of spriüung into my head last week. Since the Infection AU is trending over on tiktok right now (I love to see the return of mlp horror btw!) I wanted to participate a bit. But since I already have 2 AU's (the death series & the redesign AU) I didn't want to start a third one just for a trend, and the theme of infection didn't really fit the vibe of the death series (Or I'd have to retcon and rewrite rarity) So I instead focused on what was there: a changeling invasion! What is scarier than the Uncanny Valley? Imo nothing. That is like the only thing I'm literally terrified of, so I tried to lean into that X AI imagery, since both have a similar vive and mesh well together. None of the art in this video is AI generated btw, I just learned to imitate it. Kinda sad that there are artists imitating ai imitating artists. I think i know who's doing their job better though haha (It's not the robots!). The Music in this was also made by me! It's really basic, but it has the perfect vibe. The bonus is that youtube can't come for me now. I'll probably make a short or something on how I actually imitated AI art, which is now officially my most useless skill!
so basically, almost everyone is a changeling, and changelings just pretend to be real ponies and don't do anything suspicious, just live the same as the ponies they were would. neat.
The fact that its implied that almost the entirety of equestria besides a few stragglers have been assembled by the changelings, and the real ponies have been... god knows what happened to them, is an absolutely terrifying premise. In most infection AUs, the infection is in its very early or mid stages. In this, the "Infections" won.
Maybe it's possible to pull a converted friend to the side and m. Mention you know, but are fine with the swap and will play along as long as they stay chill
@@punkabooiscool1111 as long you don't nitpick or point out their cutiemarks being weird then ya fine. Just no thought of starting a resistance or being apart of one cause if any one resists? Well you know what happens to people like that.
I don't get scared easily, but when I do, it usually has to do with some kinds of body horror, pus for some reason, or waking up after having a dream where something like this happens. This feels like some kind of mix of the first and third things. I like it.
This reminded me of Happy Meat Farm's hype af videos where the instructions were terrifyingly simple but the music man. The music was fantastic, and this is a BOP.
