@J K it don’t matter if he did the work 100% himself or not. The point is, he got a car that needed rescued. He got it, got it fixed up, now its sitting in a awesome museum. So for that, that’s pretty cool. The museum gave him a shoot out so something to be proud of. Stop trying to be so negative, enough of that in this world.
Shout-out to the camera man, not a lightweight rig, and he's stepping over electrical cords and railings, peeking in windows and i didnt see one reflection or direct lighting glare from the camera or a single boom shadow either. Additionally nice job to all involved, amazing production team, and as COO I expected his knowledge to be extensive but his fluid transitions and dynamic story-esc narration over the tour timeline make it a truly one of a kind experience. Thank you for creating it.
We 100% agree with you on that. Most of us will never be able to see the museum,, with the most informative tour hosted by Michael Bodel's knowlegable help which we so much appreciate, we've had a brief view. The museum is absolutely amazing and we hope it can survive this shutdown.
This a great walk through history. Any kid who wants to talk any kind of car stuff should start here. Well done on the comentary as well. So much knowledge. I think I need to watch it about 9 times to remember all the facts.
As someone who had heard of the Petersen Automotive Museum through various reading materials growing up, but have not yet been able to visit in person, this was truly a treat to watch!

A couple of years ago, I found myself in L.A. visiting my brother. He treated me to a visit to Petersen's Museum during its Porsche exhibit. I didn't expect it, but just the experience of standing next to a real Gulf Porsche 917K literally made me cry- it was a spiritual moment in my life. I grew up in Hermosa Beach in the early '70s and lived around the corner from Vasek Polak's dealership. The last time I saw a 917 was as a 10 year old kid in his showroom half a century ago. Maybe someday, I may enjoy watching one go through the paces at Laguna Seca, but for now, I had the magical moment of standing in the presence of a true icon. Thank you.
I love how informational this video is, i can’t wait for the museum to open back up to see these cars in real life. I love how you guys managed to keep the car culture alive, and made a video to showcase these cars for those who haven’t been able to see them in person!

I've watched this a couple times now, and I guess I'm going to have to go to a 65" TV to appreciate it even more. I like nature videos too but I really like cars.
So much incredible human expression in here. Born in 1956 I have been so fortunate to have witnessed this thing that has been a part of our lives. And now we have places like this. And videos.

I have literally been considering a vacation from Canada to LA when this Covid shit is finally over, and one of the huge factors in wanting to visit there is the Petersen and other local car culture!!

There is such a wide range of cars and and the way the exhibits have been set up is truly world class. Thank you for putting out this video for us enthusiast giving these times. Wow. Just wow. Thank you for this video. High quality content and presentation. Its a stunning record of automotive history. The Porsche 959 was never mentioned in the same breath at the Countach. It was launched at a similar time to the Ferraro F40. The Lambo was of a different era, having been developed from the original 70's design P400.
You are correct, the Countach was released in 1974 and it was a head turner big time in 74. I can remember when the young 18 year old Boris Becker received delivery of a 959. Another head turner that was exceptional in the dirt, the car not Becker.
