- Korean sensation PSY closed out the 2012 American Music Awards with a performance of his hit 'Gangnam Style'. He was joined on stage by surprise guest MC Hammer for a special mash-up of 'Gangnam Style' and 'Too Legit To Quit'.

The Korean pop/choreo dance scene is so strong, they've been at it for over 22 years from what I know, they are so perfectionist about choreo, its not a surprise to me psy kept up with hammer

@@VAFranky Imagine Dragons are "terrible"? Why? It may not be my favourite band or music genre, but I can give it a listen and find something I like. Count yourself lucky we don't share the same music taste. Then it would be impossible for some bands to get noticed and score themselves a record contract. Whatever band *you* find undeserving of a contract and exposure is irrelevant. This is like a democracy and people have a choice of what they want to listen to. If you don't like the music, that's *your* prerogative. But please don't try to force that on others. We listen to what we want. Myself, I can listen to Boney M, ABBA, Enya, Eurythmics, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, Sweet, KISS, Bon Jovi, Ozzy Osborne, Alice Cooper, Airbourne, AC/DC, Lord Of The Lost, Rammstein, Beast In Black, Amaranthe, Sabaton, Powerwolf, Tiesto, Blasterjaxx, Armin van Buuren etc. Too many to mention, actually. I'm sure several of these go into your "But, is that *really* music?" category, but what I can enjoy while working, working out, doing chores or simply relaxing is simply *my* choice. It is when you're told what's acceptable to like and listen to you fall into the sheep-like state, in my honest opinion.
First of all, Psy MURDERED that hammer dance. Who knew he could actually dance-dance?

lots of Advil was had, I'm sure. getting old sucks...look at Prince: lots of highly kinetic movement through all of his routines over all of his career left him in so much pain the monkey on his back got him in the end. You know who feels that pain too? plumbers, carpenters, masons, electricians and all of the sundried 'tradesman' classes of work that make up the majority of this world's workers. no one pays a damn bit of attention to the toll paid on their lives...whu?...huh?...how did I get up on this box???...

I cannot believe that I’ve never even heard anybody talk about this performance. This was fabulous!!! I’m going to play this while walking around the floor at work tomorrow. Everybody’s been too down lately. I think they need a little shot from the Psy Hammer.

I love seeing Hammer back that was so awesome man. It gave me Goosebumps. I remember time when he ruled the dance charts and when I travel down in the states everybody had hammer time t shirts it was Massively HUGE. There was no one bigger than him on the planet when, "you can't touch this" came out. Mad props to Psy, To share the glory and whoever put this together. I only wish we could have heard Hammer rap and hear his voice!

I saw hammer in 90 or 91 the first time he played MSG he was the headliner with Jodeci and Boyz2Men as his opening acts. In February I got to watch Jodeci and New Edition. I hope Hammer gets a chance to tour again
