Kane Brown is the country artist that you’re talking about. :)

Yeeees, that's him. I'm terrible at remembering names but can immediately recognise when someone else says them LOL. As I mentioned, Country isn't really my thing but he was really good live.

Hello! 👋🏽 New subscriber from the US and to answer your question about Easter baskets and gifts, for me and the folks I know, this is common. When I was a kid (I’ll be 42 at the end of April), my mother made very elaborate Easter baskets for me and my sister, with lots of small trinkets and toys, but not necessarily a big toy that was expensive.
In our grocery stores, you can pick up premade baskets with rubber chickens, toys and candy in them and they vary in size and price. For my son who is nearly six, his basket included a few race cars, a few books, and some small action figures. I honestly don’t know how or why this is a thing here but it just is.
Anyway, I’m enjoying your channel and yes I was literally waiting for you to ask the question lol 😂

Hi Kat, welcome and nice to meet you 😊 Thanks for the info, it's interesting to see how these traditions vary (and which, I wonder, are basically born out of 'Hallmark Holidays').
Haha! "I have a question for you all..." 10 minutes later - "so yeah, that question is..." On the bright side, at least I eventually got there, I can go off on such a tangent sometimes I forget what I started talking about and move on to something else LOL!

Regarding the Easter baskets, people buy outrageous things so they can bag about it online. I'm not putting myself into debt so my kids can get more crap that they won't appreciate😂 i have no clue how people afford all the expensive trips and garbage. But again, I'm saving for our retirement so we can do things then and can afford for and basics 😅 i live in the states and i hate the clock change. I wish i would of gotten a rubber chicken to keep my Easter lamb cakes company. that flat earth guy should of sent a rubber chicken up in his place😂😂

Ahh, that sounds crazy. A nice little fun thing that just gets blown up into something else more...competitive, in a way. I had no idea it was even a thing!
Hahaha! Yes, the rubber chicken and the lamb cakes sounds like a perfect easter match. Maybe next year, eh? 😂
And yes, flat earth guy deffo should have sent up a chicken, LOL. I think what was perhaps the oddest thing in hindsight is he must have been pretty smart, because he built an actual rocket that was good enough to launch and carry a person (admittedly, it couldn't carry a person very far, but details). Imagine having those kind of smarts and wasting them all on some whacky conspiracy stuff.

Yay the dragons are coming!! Congratulations on your Mt. Fuji. That’s something there. I’m also an atheist. Yes we do very large Easter baskets filled with gift cards, chocolate, games… everything. Yes it’s normal but ridiculous. We don’t celebrate anymore bc our kids are grown. It was never a religious thing for us. Just fun for the kids. Maybe they should put a rubber chicken in them. 😂

Yeeeees! Just a teensy weensy bit of dragons, but I'll take what I can get on a painting this size, hehe.
LOL, yes, a rubber chicken would certainly make an interesting easter basket 😂 Thanks for the info about the gift baskets though, I had no idea it was such a 'thing'!

Why no one commented on FIFTEEN DOLLAR BEERS is BEYOND ME but omg Im pushin 40 and i remember beers were two dollars 50 cents american for 22oz n we had made a stink about the 50 cent raise because it killed the 22 for 2 promo that brought us out n yeas Corona or Bush or Miller didn't matter the kind either ....i miss the social night life of that time ..
.a lot easier to just be a dumb free kid for a min ya know

Riiiiight? I live in London so we price high anyhow, but that's still on the high side even for us.
I remember years back in the day, my other half swore that if he ever had to pay more than £5 a pint (so I think that's around $7 for around 20oz in the States), he would give up beer. That declaration certainly didn't age well 😂

Not for mine he is 5 he gets chocolate egg and got the egg hunt and basket but his dad sent me looking for his eggs could not find another so he got tedy. I am in UK. My son had a chic basket this year. My son would love a rubber chicken but he would annoy me and I would cut it up

Ahh, yeah, see that seems way more normal and in keeping with my childhood, mostly about the Easter Eggs, maaaybe a basket to collect little ones in (though we didn't have a garden so it was only if I visited somewhere else that I got something like that), maaaaaybe a (small) plushie like a rabbit or a chick. Definitely not a 2nd Christmas though!
Rofl, RIP little Rubber Chicken 😉
