Yes, she's looking good! As I think I mentioned in the video, I always start out with modest expectations and then somehow these faces just come to life in a way I don't expect once the drills go down. I'm still really enjoying her (in fact I'm nearly done), despite it no longer being Halloween season. And yes, I think we do have similar tastes! I remember watching your channel back when you were doing a bunch of DAS unboxing's because I liked those too 😊 💖

Haha, sometimes it felt like at least the last row was never ending 😂 I do like how it came out though! Mmm, I just worked on a 50x50 for the Pink n Black event and have only gotten about 20% done, ironically will probably speed up on it next week. You can come and sit in the mis-behaving brain's corner with me if you like and we can swap notes 😂 I have mixed feelings about Dreamer's, but mostly positive and I love the rendering and AB placement choices they make with their Kurtis pictures. I've yet to try out their new tighter grid but I want to complete some of the squares I already own from them first because it always feels harder to go back to older canvas's (of any company) after upgrades!

Oooh, I do have some wooden toothpicks in my crafting stash, maybe I'll give the glue dots another go - I know they can be a bit of a pain to prime but it does look like the effort would be worth the reward if I could just wrangle getting it in the pen in the first place 😂 Thanks for the tips 💖

Oh I might try holding it by the spout, the reason I go for smaller trays (aside from not being trusted with a lot of drills in one, hehe) is because I find them uncomfy in my hand. Holding by it's spout might help train me to keep it flat on the table too and that would solve the problem. Though I'm a creature of habit with a bad memory so I might never change, hehe, but never know till I try 💖

Haha, well it does have a good ring to it! Right? The smell is so strong, something has definitely gone wrong somewhere. I can't wait to be done with that ear so I can switch to my nicer and non-stinky drills 😂 Yeah, I think it's just easier to leave the budget stuff behind, I was also tired of reverse image checking stuff because I would feel bad if I accidentally PR'd an artist's stolen work. Poor Rebecca at Add More Zest had that a couple of months back from Fansells iirc. Really pretty picture....because it was a Yuumei (she obviously pulled the video as soon as she found out). If nothing else, I don't need that extra level of stress. 💖💖

Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't say I dislike Turkey it's more that it's not very exciting 😂 Virtually the same as Chicken which I eat year round, so it's very hard to view it in any way shape or form as something special, just something too big that you end up having to eat for half a week as leftovers LOL. Uh huh, plus I saw someone commenting due to the Canadian Postal strike the other week, apologising because it meant they had less to content for the channel. When your viewers only come to your channel for unboxing's and hauls, you are then essentially trapped in to forever showing that content as they'll all leave if you stop! Thanks but no thanks, I'll stick with being a small and random channel if the alternative is to blow all my real life money just so I can post a new video every day LOL

If people are only coming to see me open packages then they are gonna be disappointed 😂 My constant fear is what if I stop liking the hobby and have tens of thousands, or more, dollars sunk into it and can't make any of the money back? I'm a hobby switcher so it will happen eventually. Plus they keep improving canvases and materials and I won't want a bunch of older style kits.

It's adorable, isn't it?! Unfortunately like many companies (for some reason), while their Squares are Resin their Rounds are Acrylic...mostly. Bizarrely, the special ones do look like they're resin. That being said, there are very few dimples on the Acrylic's, they look pretty uniform in the bag, and they appear to be decent quality so fingers crossed they will be good to work with. I'd love to know why Round Resin drill kits are so much rarer to find than Square.

They're obviously not premium kits, but at least judging from the few I've done so far, I thought they were surprisingly decent for their price point. The only reason I've not started this one yet is because I'm part way through The Dragon's Door which is another big canvas with lots of background and I'm such a plodder LOL. This is definitely going to be my next big background project though - the background is going to be pain, but it'll be worth it for the end result! Yeah, I've seen some pictures of the ooze in their FB group, though I've not seen any recently and I think I saw a slightly different tip the other day which I assume is version 2, so fingers crossed it's fixed now. While it's nice to have the option to buy the metal tip to solve it, it shouldn't be mandatory!

Yeah, I've had one on my eye before unfortunately - and once they (talking about my blisters like they're people LOL) find a route to get up to mischief, there's a higher chance they'll use it again so I'm pretty much resigned to having to deal with again in future too. Ah well, it is what it is and there are certainly worse things I could have wrong with me! You know, DAS are *very* accommodating, if at some point you bought a painting but want something else that you know will be coming in a restock, I think it's possible they'd might be willing to hold your first painting for a while so they could ship both at once. Certainly no harm in asking x

I bought it from the Dreamer Designs website (I think I put a link in the description, if not then you can search her name which is "Salem"). I can't remember shipping time (they're in the States) but it was decently quick, maybe 5-6 days, something like that. I've also done an unboxing of it on my channel just a day or two before this video if you've not seen it and are interested💖

Sadly I’m not too young to know about corns on your feet, it’s funny though that I hadn’t realised I’d forgotten about them until you mentioned them LOL. Not heard of anyone complaining about their corns in years 😆 And yes, English really is so weird, I’m glad it’s my native tongue because I’m not smart enough to learn all it’s quirks as a 2nd language 😂

Hahaha, luckily (or unluckily as the case may be), we have no pets and the only kids in the house are me and my other half 😂 I love that you found a doll in the freezer though LOL. I understand the nerves, it doesn't bother me having a few on the go but sometimes I'll see someone make a 'current wip stash' video and I'm like 😱, they have more wips on the go than I have paintings in my stash 😂 We just all have to do what makes us happy though!

It's a really lovely looking painting, I just need to figure out when I can get it to the top of the to-do pile, LOL. I definitely need more hours in the day for my diamond painting 😂

Ahh, that's good to hear! I have started working on it, bizarrely I'm really enjoying the background of all things with all the changing pattern and plenty of pixie dust with the spattering of AB's, it's a really nice effect! I started from the bottom though which means I have those flower buns still to look forward to 😀
