Hi Jordy….I’m 63 and love watching your videos on wood carving with the dremel. I am bound and determined to learn how to do this. I admire your work… I enjoy the way you take your time to show me how and why you do what you do to a piece. That really makes it easier to understand. Please keep making these tutorials for us beginners.. One can never watch too many…Thank you for your time. Keep Carving!

hi Jordy, i wanted to say a big thank you for doing these videos. I have just started my carving journey and have have continually felt that my work is not good enough. after watching you and your attitude to your craft. It has shown me that just doing is enough and that not to take my work so seriously and when mistakes happen that are not in the plan. Just reajust and move on. Like your nose falling off, it has just happened and i was gutted. Now I just went deeper. Keep up the great work and positive outlook. Mark

I appreciate that you have put out several different videos on wood spirits. The best way for me to learn is by repetition but it is better to watch slightly different videos on carving (in this case a wood spirit) than watching the same one over and over. While I still have a long way to go my wood spirits have taken a giant leap with your instructions.

When I was in Cambodia I saw a big carving that was almost 1100 years old, ,the wood was Asia rose wood .
As we speak the Cambodian people are still digging out the stumps of rose wood that was cut down 100 years ago and the sap wood has a certain damage but the rest of it is sound as sound can be and the colours are even nicer than the fresh cut one.
Another place to see nice carving is in Banaue Philippines, North of Manila ,
Indonesia is also a super place , in Bali
